Average pho. Nothing sticks out as good or bad... Ordered the spring and summer rolls as appetizers but they came out with our pho so by the time I got to the soup, it was bit cold. Other than that, a-ok. Do try their AVACADO boba drink. Made with real avacado. Yummy~ Can't top the Four Sister's in VA but better than Pho Dat Thahn's in Columbia. read more

I love this place. It's my secret little getaway to enjoy a good hot meal uninterrupted by the daily grind. I love their hot pho meals and the savory broth. I come to this place at least once a week for my pho fix. Can't rave about the place enough. The staff is friendly and patient and they're willing to accommodate. read more

(02/19/2012) Nice place next to the H-mart for Vietnamese food. Place seems family-run in the kitchen and on the floor, has an updated interior, but feels casual like hanging out at your aunt's house. Most of the family was intently cheering on Jeremy Lin as he helps the Knicks top Dallas. The Shrimp and Pork Summer Rolls looked prepped a little ahead of time; wrapper was a little overdamp and frangible, but the ingredients inside were fresh (plump shrimp, stuffed mostly with undressed noodles, slice of pork roll, some romaine lettuce). Agree with a previous reviewer about the lack of herbs in the rolls, would've been nice to have that fresh bite of basil and cilantro to amp up the flavors some. Grilled marinated beef in grape leaves were really good, I've never had them before (decided to forego the "duck sauce" they came with, seemed incongruous and superfluous). The ground meat was highly seasoned (fresh garlic, pepper, maybe some soy or fish sauce), juicy when you bit in, grape leaves had that slight bitter, vegetal flavor (in a good way). The pho was a good-sized portion for the money ($7.50), a little light on the meats. The broth wafted with hints of star anise when it came to the table, was somewhat thin, mildly beefy. I enjoy the chunks of weird meat bits, and don't need them chopped small into unrecognizable pieces, enjoyed the gummy bear-like tendons and squeaky, chewy strips of tripe. Well-done brisket was tender and beefy, fatty brisket sufficiently fatty, rare flank rosy pink. Cilantro and green onions came in the meats and broth rather than on the side, garnishes were very fresh silvery bean sprouts, Thai basil, fresh sliced jalapenos and tart limes. Overall pretty good. Am looking forward to going back and trying some of the grilled and bun dishes. read more

One of better choice for pho in Baltimore area. I didn't have problem with quality of meat they offer in pho. I got No.6 and fried spring roll to share. Both pretty good. My husband had No.29 and he liked his a lot, too. I thought I didn't get enough meat, but I was wrong. By the time I finished eating my food, I was stuffed. I perhaps shouldn't have gotten large pho. Broth was little watery, but not bad to drink. It was great to have for a cold day like today. read more

Three out of four ppl at my table ordered Pho. One person ordered a rice dish. No one complained about their dishes, so I assume it wasn't bad. I ordered #1, my usual at Pho places. The pho was okay. Not the worst I've had, but not the best. For appetizer we ordered summer rolls and grill beef wrapped in grape leaves. Summer rolls were disappointing; more noodle stuffing than anything else. The grape leaf wraps were a little on the salty side but delicious though. read more

Pho Pasteur - Vietnamese Near Me - Catonsville, Maryland

Ordered tofu and vegetable Pho carry out. Got home and opened the food only to see that I had been given chicken instead of tofu. Called to see what could be done and was told "well we're closed now". Its an honest mistake, but come on. Customer service 101, there should have been an apology at least. My wife had to order dinner from somewhere else. Will not be returning. read more

Great Soup Egg Rolls and Service. Thanks for the good time. Everyone should try it.

Quick stop for lunch, I was seated quickly. Ordered #37 w/grilled shrimp & beef over vermicelli noodles, lettuce, cucumber, onion & bean sprouts. Very flavorful; light sprinkle of chopped peanuts was a nice touch. The Jasmine Iced tea was a nice light flavor w/o being too sweet; think lightly/ unsweet green tea. The customer service was so so & being my 1st time there, I didn't know if I was supposed to wait for the check. I sat around for a bit before flagging someone down, then being directed to pay up front. But the food was good & came super quick even w/a nice size crowd. Definitely worth a try. read more

I'm making it an adventure to try all of the pho restaurants in and around Catonsville and my last stop on the tour was at Pho Pasteur. Overall, I enjoyed the experience. The service was prompt. The food was brought out promptly, and the apps and the pho were served almost simultaneously. I love that. It give time for my pho to cool a little and blend flavors with the basil, lime, and peppers that I add in while I eat my appetizer. At the end of your meal, you pay at the counter. While I find that unusual in most restaurants, I prefer it with my pho. Hands down, Pho Pasteur has the best peanut sauce in the area to serve with their spring rolls, and the ingredients in the pho were tasty (extra props for the large slice of lime where other restaurants can skimp). The main reason this review dropped to a four was due to the flavor of the broth, which I found lacking. Bland broth doesn't cut it for me, and I'll probably go elsewhere for my pho needs. But their other food was exceptional and I would recommend it for any who want to try good Vietnamese food. read more

It was so good our friends went back twice in 3 days. I am battling a cold, so the pho (I tried #2 and #15) helped me massively. The staff is super friendly, they waste no time pushing tables together to accommodate a large group. The place is always packed, so you know it's good. Also, the food comes out extremely quickly (we're talking 5-10 minutes for pho), and is delicious. Best of all, you know it's not incredibly salt-laden like some pho can be because you're not very thirsty hours after. Staff is very nice, food delicious, prices so cheap! ($6.50 for "small" aka huge bowl of pho) Will definitely return. read more

My #1 place for phó in Baltimore and the best prices too. Food is phónominal! I've been coming here for years and is the best around.

I have been coming to this place for years. The staff are relaxed, and really friendly. You can always find the owner by the cash register in the booth watching his iPad. When I moved away I miss this place so much, the food and quality of service is always been the same I think the prices have gone up a tiny bit over the years. But it is still quite affordable, I actually started coming here in college during my broke Ramen days, this was an upgrade for not too much more. read more

Probably my favorite pho place In this area. The broth could be deeper, but still very solid. Plus, they have a very solid BBH.

Our go-to pho spot in the area! Service is fast and food is fresh, for both dine-in and carry-out!

Favorite Pho shop, always good and eat here about once a week. Pleasant staff, and they always remember the order

As someone who goes into a pho restaurant and always orders the #1 special.....in my opinion they have the best pho broth I've ever had. Lots of anise or fennel in it. My particular bowl had some really good tripe and tendon in it. A terrific dish. read more

It was okay. The price was a lot higher than An Loi's prices and also the food was kinda oily read more

Pho Pasteur - This my Pho Pasteur version of Maryland Chicken - Vietnamese Near Me - Catonsville, Maryland

The bowl portion is a little smaller than the other pho place I frequent BUT!!! The prices makes up for the difference. Their pho base was awesome. Some of the best Pho broth around. Service was great too. Will frequent this place again definitely. Really a good place for Pho. read more

So delicious! Love this place! Would highly recommend it! Bun bo hue is my absolute favorite!

I've been coming to this place for a little more than a year now and I still love it. I always order #1 because it is simply the best. I never get tired of this place because their ingredients are the best. Everything looks and tastes fresh. I always eat their pho with their Thai Bubble Tea, which is amazing also. Not only that food is really good but also their service. They are quick to seat you and give you water as well as refill your water. Food also comes out super fast.Definitely recommended for everyone! read more

I like Pho, in general, as a cuisine. I enjoyed the soup I ate. What I, and my husband and niece, did not enjoy was the nausea that hit all of us about a half an hour after we ate. Needless to say we will not be returning. We will be returning to our usual go-to place Pho #1. read more

The person cleaned the ground with chemical stuff right in the middle of our dinner. Very unprofessional... the smell killed us.

I think out of all the pho places I've been to, this has been the most reliable. One way you can tell that it's legit is when a majority of the customers are speaking Vietnamese. Service was extremely fast. We ordered pho and summer rolls (they call them spring rolls here), and it came out in 10-15 minutes. The pho came with scallions and cilantro already sprinkled onto the bowl, and they provided us a plate with bean sprouts, basil, lime, and jalapenos. While their bowl sizes are not as big, I enjoy their broth and I find that they give you more meat than most other places. I ordered a regular size, finished my noodles, and there were still cuts of meat leftover, which usually never happens. The summer rolls were filled with lettuce, noodles, pork and shrimp. I think because I'm used to other places using their marinated roasted pork, I found the pork in these rolls a little dry and bland, but the rolls were still fine. Overall a good experience. This has become my go to place for pho, especially in the Catonsville area. read more

Tried this place once, never came back. It wasn't horrible but pho van down the road is so much better. Why go for mediocre when you can have good? read more

Went in on a Sunday and they had the game on. Pho on a cold day and able to watch the game. What more could you ask for? I'll definitely be back next time I'm in the area. read more

I believe there are about 4 Pho restaurants in the vicinity of Catonsville. Catonsville is a pho- filled because I think of the quickly starving students at the nearby college. The town is in for a Pho noodle fight. Everybody's pho-attention is scattered. Do you know which Pho restaurant do you like? This is my 3rd Pho place I have been to in Catonsville. It's hard to choose. I came to conclusion that eating Pho is a matter of the day of my errand. If I need an Asian or Giant food grocery, Starbucks, Caribbean or Korean, I go to Pho Pasteur. Pasteur is smaller than Pho 1 and about the same space as Pho Saigon. Whichever...I feel, they all satisfy my need for Pho, but I don't need to pho every week so phogive me, pho pastor. read more

I love their vermicelli noodles with grilled shrimp and beef. A large bowl is 9.95$ I think... I don't really eat their pho much but I always go there when I have craving for Bun Cha Gio. Egg rolls are yummy too! read more

I think they have the best pho around Bmore area. After living in Philly for over ten years and moving to Bmore, we were sad there weren't any good Vietnamese restaurants in the area. We were glad we found this place and Miss Sandy was super friendly and helpful! Unfortunately she's no longer there, but her family still runs the business. Thanks Miss Sandy for the coffee advise! My kids miss you! read more

Excellent service and food was delish. Doesn't serve or allow outside alcohol, but that wasn't a deal breaker.

Best Pho in Baltimore. The broth is fresh and clean tasting. Gorgeous fresh veggies and the service can't be beat! One of the waiters even chased me across the parking lot with leftovers. You can't beat the price. I will go back again and again even though it's clear across town. read more

My usual go to spot Pho#1 was closed for New Years day so I gave Pho Pasteur a shot. Overall good experience, I always get the combination with tripe, steak and tendon and usually extra tendon and noodles. No need for extra noodles as they give you alot to begin with. The extra tendon is a must have man are the y generous with the meat portions. The one negative is they dont give enough broth. The carryout container was only 3/4 full and when my bowl was prepped hardly any visible broth. I will be back again but may ask for extra broth :). read more

Found a huge fly/beetle in my pho bowl while I was about halfway through--they didn't seem to mind. Will not return.

Perhaps the best bun bo hue in the mid-atlantic. Broth is so rich and flavorful. Beef slices fresh and the spice is so nice.

Best Pho joint in the B-more area, by far! One of the few 'Authentic Vietnamese Cuisine' restaurants that is actually owned and operated by Vietnamese folks. Trust that you can taste the difference in the broth. Oh, that broth. Like it's been simmering for a week with all savory goodness soaking in. I want to expand out and try some of the other dishes, but the pho broth is too damn good. One day. read more

I was pleased with the customer service on my second visit. I was offered to comp the price of the appetizer for arriving late to the table.

I will revise my review because I do not want to be so negative. However the two times I went, service was not attentive, and the food most importantly was not either. I've had much better pho. Needs improvement in my opinion. Thanks read more

I came here faithfully for years and the servers always knew my order. During my last visit I found four flies in my broth. When I told the staff he shrugged me off and said it was flies all in the kitchen as well and walked away to take his smoke break. Needless to say I did not pay for that meal nor have I returned. read more

Food comes out really fast. Went there on a Thursday morning and they were so fast in getting our order and food out. Not the best in my opinion. Gives you good portion, lots of meat, but I don't like the broth. I don't know what it is... something about it. Had summer roll and spring roll and they were good. I'm very picky with pho. read more

Great service! The food comes out super fast and the pho is absolutely fantastic! Best beef broth I have ever had. Been coming here for years. read more

Overall very good. The pho broth has a unique taste, hard to describe since there are usually so many ingredients used to make the broth, but it has a floral, sweet aroma. I can see why so many people give it great reviews - I liked it but it's not my favorite bowl of pho, I had to add some hoisin and hot peppers to round out the flavor. It did come out very fast, within two minutes and the staff was friendly. The large bowl was a bit smaller than I've had at other restaurants. read more
