Our Iaido practice made it hard to get here before closing time, but we were always rewarded richly if we could. It looks very simple and humble, but it's delicious food and a warm, wonderful vibe. This is one of the true gems of Everett. I've retired now from Kendo and Iaido, but I'd like to visit Pho On Broadway again one of these days, if I weren't so mobility challenged. Everything about PoB is perfect. You're the one who expects deep fried egg rolls not to be greasy. For the record, They aren't greasy enough for our family, side sauce is addictive. Get a large pho and sandwich through the toughest drive thru exit one can experience in North Everett, but so what, who guaranteed you an easy existence? If you bought some of the plants the owner maintains it would be easier to navigate so it's really your fault if you think about it. I love the fresh spring rolls, vermicelli noodles with grilled pork and egg roll, and the soup is really satisfying. I like either the seafood, which has yummy fish balls with shrimp and "krab", or the beef flank and brisket soup with meatballs. You can ask for the soup with extra veg and no noodles if you prefer, and the fresh lemonade and hot French coffee are a real treat. The floor is old linoleum. The tables are formica. But there's off street parking, and it shows that Harry loves taking care of his roses and bamboo in the summer. read more

This is the best pho. Period. The owner is friendly and prompt and you can order ahead and drive up to the window to pick it up. The broth is simmered for 20 hours, allowing plenty of time for the flavor to develop. The spring rolls are also great, as is the grilled pork vermicelli noodles. Vietnamese food is higher priced today but this joint is worth every penny. Don't be fooled by negative reviews complaining about the parking. There are signs everywhere in the lot that state the parking is for the restaurant only. You'd be blind to miss them. read more

I've never eaten here but have driven by many times and saw pretty good online reviews. Tonight I decided to try it and just do something small and simple. When we entered the restaurant no one except the rude owner was inside. He was very gruff and unfriendly. I felt like I'd interrupted him in the middle of something very important and he was not happy about it. We ordered what I understood were "egg rolls" but wound up with "spring rolls" in a see thru rubbery wrap that was hard to chew. The chicken inside was so tough I had to pull it out and just set it aside, the other dish we tried was stirfry noodles with vegetables and chicken. It was bad. I question that the chicken in the dish was chicken, it was some kind of dark looking meat, but it did not have a good flavor and the whole meal portion for $17 was very skimpy and sad. It looked like someone just cleaned out the fridge and used the scraps. Again, I picked the "meat" out and set it aside. I couldn't understand how these two small items were almost $30 but they were...overall I would give it a D minus and I will not be returning again. I was looking online for a menu to verify that we got what we ordered because I don't think we did, but there's no menu online. We almost ate at Fisherman Jacks at the Marina but decided to try this little pho place instead. Fisherman Jacks probably would have cost less, would be guaranteed to have a clean Restaurant w nice view, and at the very least, polite service. read more

The Pho Tai here is great. The broth is very flavorful not watered down at all. There is a very generous amount of the sprouts and fresh basil which is exactly the way I like my Pho. It was a little short on the beef compared to a couple other places I frequent, but the flavor was so good I didn't care once I started eating. I eat Pho for the flavor profile not for a huge bite of meat. If I want that I would get a sandwich! Sorry I didn't take a photo, I finished it before I thought to do a review. This has been my absolute favorite pho place for almost 10 years now. The hole in the wall places are always the best! Literally everything they make is delicious, I always get chicken pho with fresh rolls - both of which I prefer to any other pho restaurant I've tried, and I've tried a lot! My husband is super picky about his Banh Mi's and will now only get them from here because he says the bread is the best. Haha. Tonight I had called to see what time they closed and it was in 5 minutes. It would take me 10 to get there but Harry let me know he was still happy to help and I hurried over to get my pho fix. They really prioritize their customers. I've done both dine in and take out and there had never been a difference in quality. I can't say enough good things about this place. I hadn't been here in a few years (we've been giving in to sub-sub-par pho in smokey point bc it's closer but no more). It's cute and small inside but has a wall of mirrors so it feels way bigger; there's also a drive-through window but you'll probably park in back and wait a few if u do - idk, I've never done that. Being Viet and having a pho eating background ranging from my mom's pho to pho from LA/Saigon/Seattle, I had to try this place which my non-asian coworkers kept on raving about. A good bowl of pho for me has a balance of the different spices mainly cinnamon and anise with the fat wholesome taste of oxtails that have been slow cooked with a good sized portion of meat and the typical veggies on the side of bean sprouts, thai basil, lime wedges and sometimes jalepenos. Honestly the pho is quite decent. Not too cinnamony like I've had at Pho Hoa (hated it) and not the most outstanding. It had flavor but was comparable to Than Brothers without the cream puff. It wasn't as wholesome as my mom's pho either. Plus it didn't have as much meat as what I've gotten at the Than Brothers or other pho restaurants in the US. I was honestly disappointed when I paid for my meal. I had gotten a small bowl of their special pho which came down to 7.10 after tax. None of their menus online reflected that price and quite frankly Than Brothers has a cream puff thrown in for a cheaper price. I had no problems with the service and the owner is quite friendly. It's a neighborhood restaurant and I wouldn't mind eating here again since it's nearby my work. read more

It's close and I want to support small businesses. However, owner wasn't so friendly when we arrived. He pointed to a table for us to sit then handed us dirty photo copied menus. I noticed immediately the tray with condiments had spilled sauce. When I picked up a spoon there was a greasy residue on it. The condiment containers were sticky. If you want to add vegetables to your Tofu Pho there is an upcharge. No vegetables in any of the Pho. 4 very small pieces of brisket in the small Pho and the meat didn't taste fresh. You have to ask for water as it is not automatically brought out. The broth was delicious but not a lot of noodles or beef. I kinda felt like I was ordering a bowl of Bone Broth. $16 for a small pho was ridiculous. Won't be going back as there are far better pho places that warmly greet me and appreciate my business. read more

In recent years, I have become a fan of PHO style Vietnamese soup. I am a Realtor in my second professional life, so spend a good deal of time on the road. I usually have PHO soup now 2 times a week. Pho on Broadway in Everett, WA (Harry is the owner) makes a good Asian noodle soup. They provide a drive-by take-out service as well. The small restaurant (what some might classify as a "whole in the wall restaurant" which we all know can be great) has a broad mix of clientele in North Everett -- Caucasian and certainly Asian / Vietnamese as well. The restaurant serves a wide variety of Vietnamese food in addition to PHO soup, but the patrons seem to really enjoy the soup. This restaurant has been awarded the Monte Cristo Award which acknowledges "neighborhood friendly" businesses. I enjoy PHO noodle soup at 2 Everett locations and one in Mukilteo. Went here and got some pho the other day. Service was mediocre and so was the food, and the whole experience was well over priced. Pho broth was bland, there was very little meat, and it was luke warm at best. I was honestly alarmed at how small the "small" bowl actually was. The Spring rolls are just awful. Two small shrimp and two quarter sized pieces of meat. We didn't even get water. $30 for a pretty poor experience is not something I'll be doing again. Parking is bad, food is bad, service is bad. There are no redeemable qualities to this place. There are four pho places within a 10 minute drive and I suggest you go there. read more

It may look 'vintage' however, the pho there is absolutely splendid. I can make out the notes of cinnamon, black pepper and star anise in the broth. The chicken pho is what I order with extra noodle (we all know, a little extra noddle won't hurt nobody and I want that good slurpy slurp.) I also order the Vietnamese chicken sandwich! I absolutely love ordering this sando to go. I take a fat dab when I get home and thats just when that sandwich begins to look mighty fine. We live nearby and thought we would try it as we LOVE pho... never again. While the flavor in general was decent, we were very disappointed with 1) the way our takeout order was taken (we didn't seem as important to them as the dine-in customers and felt rushed and in the way) 2) Asked if they could make it spicy and was told that wasnt possible and they would add extra spices/hot sauces to our order. OK fine... (most quality Pho places can customize your broth) except when we got home there was one tiny pack of sauce for 3 orders to share 3)They gave us ONE container with barely enough sprouts and veg for ONE order of Pho! And we ordered three! At $9.00 + each?!?!??! Very disappointing dinner that night... You can keep your Pho. Will find a place that has better service and actually gives me what I paid for. read more
