43. Phở Sủi Cảo Sa Thịt Gà / (Chicken Lemongrass Dumpling Pho)
Trish R.

Great lunch spot! Great service and great food! The dumplings are amazing, the group I went with got the pork dumplings to split. For lunch I got the chicken lemongrass dumpling pho and it was delicious and filling! The booths are nice and roomy as well and the place has lots of seating for dining in.

Quick and easy meal. Special pho or beef banh mi is my go to. This has became our pho spot since it's so close. In the beginning, this place was not good but it got better or it might've charged staff.

Excellent Vietnamese restaurant with a large menu and delicious meals. For starters we had the crab Rangoon which was crispy and light with a nice amount of cream cheeses. We ordered the shrimp summer rolls with peanut sauce that was delicious. The food came out as quickly as we ordered them. I would say fast than a fast food restaurant. All hot and very delicious. The wonton pho was very good as well as the vermicelli dish that had beef, shrimp pork and chicken. The best. The Beef Banh Mi Bo Nurong number 29 was an excellent tasting sandwich with the bread being lightly tossed. Excellent food and service and inside very roomy and clean. Will definitely be back'

Superior service! Summer roll is spectacular. The Pho with grilled shrimp was delicious but the broth needed a little bit more flavor. Not to fret because they have fish oil, sesame oil, hot chili oil and other flavors at the table. Solid 4 and prices are reasonable. Love the decor and continuous food feed on the screens!

In Franklin Mills area off Woodhaven Rd. Great menu and big place and the decor is very nice and has alcohol as well. Have had several things here but always love the House Special Bun with mixed meats and their spring rolls are good too. The Pho is very good and some of their specialty soups are also excellent. The service is efficient but a bit chilly. And like I said there's plenty of seating so no waiting. Definitely check them out as I do every time I'm in the area.

I ordered the house special pho. Broth was not as rich in beef flavor as I expected but the condiments made up for it. Typical Asian -American faire, a step back from mom's home-cooking.

solid pho spot by franklin mall, perfect for a post-shopping lunch. i got the house special pho (pho dac biet) and it did not disappoint. the broth was super flavorful and the bowl was packed with meat. service was fast, and everyone was super friendly! the restaurant was homey and had plenty of seating. honesty, i was surprised that there weren't more customers. delicious, i just wish it was closer to center city! it's a little out of the way for me, but i'll be coming back whenever i end up in the area.

Casual and spacious restaurant with quick service. They initially noted down the wrong order but they replaced it quite quickly. Noodles were a little clumped together but otherwise the pho was very good. The bread on the banh mi is very crispy. Reasonable prices overall.

105. Salt Pepper Shrimp

Ordered the appetizer Butter Chicken (wings) and rice dish Salt & Pepper Shrimp. Pretty much my go-to at any Chinese or Viet spot. Pretty much on par with, and would order again items again.

100. Can Kho To Summer rolls

Table too sticky .... Summer rolls are not fresh ... Can Kho To very disappointed (fish with sauce on top..) - if you like that dish you know what I meant . General Tso's Chicken- very bend taste ... Avocado smoothie is like water.. Bathroom is clean Nope not coming back..

Ever since I find out they have that raw meat appetizer, I would always check with my waiter and see if it's fresh and if yes, I would always order one. It is serve with their fish sauce and lime and fried onions.

Ordered takeout from here. The service was 5/5 because it was ready when I came to pick up, and the people were friendly. Very large restaurant with plenty of seating for anyone looking to dine in. The food was just ok. I ordered the pork vermicelli with spring rolls. There were no herbs with the vermicelli. The sauce just lacked flavor. The portion size was good, and the spring rolls were crispy and had a very tasty filling. With the lack of herbs and freshness of the vegetables, I don't know if I would come back.

What a great place! This establishment is nothing like the other storefront places I've been to. Spacious, modern and clean. The Pho is delicious and filled generously. Tasty and filling. The BanhMi on the traditional Hoagie was also a hit. Tender beef on crunchy and soft bread. Service is fast and friendly, and a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere.

I don't think I used to understand how incredible that is for a restaurant with a menu of this size. The portions are generous, the prices are right, and the service is quick and friendly. My current list of "must try" items: - the banh hoi for 2; make your own summer rolls with your choice of proteins. Excellent meal - bo luc lac here slaps, and it turns out they also have a vegetarian/vegan version too (not sure it's available on the regular menu but I was able to get it for a banquet - Lotus salad with shrimp; sweet, salty, sour, fresh, crunchy, and flavorful. A good switch up from papaya salad And, if you have a big party, their banquet menus are a huge value with incredible variety. Nam Phuong is greater than the sum of its parts. There's a reason my family has been coming here for the better part of the last 20 years, and I hope Nam Phuong stays in good business for the next 20 years and beyond.

Familiar with the little viet shopping center cause of my banh mi cravings so yeah gave it a shot . Was surprised how big the place is so plenty of seats available. Place is a lil dated and all tables have that tick sticky table covering on it which I get it .... makes it easier to clean ... but to some its like an ickkkkk feeling .. The menu is pretty large with lots of authentic dishes that other places dont have which is awesome and I can say the flavors are pretty spot on to my moms home cooking so it was like comfort food away from home ... Ok on to the food... Nam nuong roll which is a type of viet sausage which is grilled and was pretty good and can be found in other dishes that our served here.. only thing I didnt like about this dish was how much noodles was in it... they definitely skimped a lil on the sausage. The canh Chua ca was pretty good ... nice balance of sweety, sour, savory all in one full of veggies and fish, it was pretty damn good . Overall experience was good I would definitely come back and tey other dishes .

The yelp reviews seemed fine, so we went ahead and sat down and ordered relatively quickly. Somehow, it took over 40 minutes to receive our food. I know they were out of pork, which they weren't about, but they didn't warn us about the wait time. I have never had to wait so long for pho. We overheard another table, asked to cancel one of their orders and saw someone leave. I wish they had warned us because we would not have stayed or ordered if we knew that things were going to take so long. My banh xeo also barely had any meat in it, maybe two pieces of shrimp and that was it. You can see in the picture how hollow it looks. Unfortunately, it was definitely not worth $20.

The space is small, but the service is quick, so you can easily get in and out within an hour. We always leave happy and satisfied. Our go to order is a small & large order of the Bun Bo Hue. Large order of Banh cuon. And drink.

Cuisine: 8 Service: 6…read moreDecor: 6 Value: 9 Overall: 8 NOTE: CASH ONLY According to locals, the two best Bun Bo Hue restaurants in Philly are Cafe Diem and Cafe Nhan. I have been to both locations in the past, but decided to compare them back to back on my recent trip to determine the champ, once and for all. Cafe Diem is a small restaurant full of slightly older patrons, mostly Vietnamese. Menu is limited to a few items, with Bun Bo Hue being the focus. Let's start with the soup. As soon as I took a sip, I immediately tasted a hint of spice and then followed by some sweetness. The broth was light, clean, and not much taste of lemongrass or shrimp paste. I do think it is very good, but I definitely preferred the stronger depth of flavor at Cafe Nahn. There was a lot of meat, most noticeably the huge pork foot, some beef slices, two slices of ham, and some tendon. The beef (shank) was awesome and tendon were awesome and slightly better than Cafe Nhan. However, the pork foot needs to be cooked longer since it wasn't tender enough. Ham had zero flavor and negligible. I would give the meats a push. Noodles is where Cafe Diem shined for me. Though both are super smooth, with a great chew. I felt that this version was slightly softer and not as dense. This is nitpicking, but I could eat more of this rice noodle. Veggies plate had bean sprouts, mint, and lime. Both places were fresh, so it's a tie here as well. One more thing of note is that Cafe Diem does serve a larger portion for a lesser price ($16) versus Cafe Nhan ($19). Pricing as of 10/24/2026. With that said, both Bun Bo Hue will fill most people up easily. Maybe that will affect some people's choice, so I wanted to point that out. Overall, the soup is the most important part of the dish for me, and there was a gap. Not as much in the meats or noodles. Therefore, Cafe Nhan wins! Btw, the Vietnamese Ice Coffee here is slightly burnt and bitter. It needs a hint more condense milk for creaminess and sweetness.

Man I knew this place was too good to be true …read more. Yes one thing I can say it has going for it is the decor .. and maybe the drinks ... but it all changes from there ... Service was slow and had to flag a server down to get some type of service even thought they were not that busy .. The viet coffee was good but their "spicy lemonade" was mehhh ... Summer rolls were good but the peanut sauce was very watery and salty... used to it being thicker and a lil kick which it was not .. The chicken salad was interesting and not sure how I feel about it ... it was shredded up chicken which was dry and needed more of the fish sauce vinegaret. The pho broth was good and the ox tail was good and tender in it but the pho noodles was your basic store bought noods which was disappointing ... The braised port was basically pieces of Xa Xieu similar the the red pork you see hanging in the window of a Chinese joint next to a Peking duck ... there was no caramelization and meat was chewy as fuk and not fatty like other places or in some of the pics that were posted ... the sauce was super sweet also and mini banh mi it came with were like the mini dinner rolls you can find at like a Super Market. Would I be back ?? Not sure... Highly disappointed by a place with such high reviews
