This is one of the nicer-looking Vietnamese restaurants I've seen, and really good food as well. Been here a handful of times with friends, often parking by the closed CVS nearby. I've tried both pho and grilled pork there, and both are really good. The staff are also very friendly and attentive, and water is served in pitchers on the table. I think it's a great spot and would definitely go back again. read more

Pho Today never disappoints! The restaurant is always clean, comfortable, and welcoming. We came in around 7 PM, and despite it being a busy dinner time, the staff was still full of energy and provided excellent service. A special shoutout to the girls working this evening, they were friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome from the moment we walked in. The food came out quickly, was fresh, and tasted delicious. Great food, fast service, positive energy, and a clean atmosphere. We'll definitely be back again! read more

On this trip I ordered pho oxtail and I must say, I think it was good. I think it's hard to mess up pho so it's hard to give this a rating higher than 3. If you are craving noodles or pho this place is pretty good especially for the price point on the meats. The meats are also pretty tender and cooked well enough to fall off while eating. But beyond that, there's no wow factor. I will come back here when I'm craving this but never just on a whim. read more

Over 3 years later and Pho Today continues to impress me. Their Filet Mignon Pho is heavenly and their Suon Cay (Beef Shortrib Pho) is a meal fit for royalty. Be sure to bring your appetite because each meal is huge. Service is quick and you get a lot of value for your money. Prices are higher here than other places, but you get what you pay for. The meat here is superb. read more

They have rainbow ice! Most Vietnamese restaurants don't make these anymore. The biggest pho with the mostest: short rib pho. Can split between 2-3 ppl honestly. A lot of seating. Though not a huge fan of their lighting; a bit too bright. Fast customer service and they check back often. Large bathroom in the rear. Clean. read more

Pho Today - So much food - Vietnamese Near Me - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

I've only had Pho a half a dozen times - I recently went to Pho Today with family, who go there regularly. They said it was one of the best in Philly. I agree. We started with the Pork Spring rolls - I placed them in the lettuce and carrots, poured a little Duck Sauce over them, and enjoyed a very tasty appetizer. We all got the Pho Filet Mignon - the meat was lean and tender. The broth was delicious, and perfectly seasoned. I added a big bunch of basil that comes on the side, and the dish was amazing. The portion is large! I took almost half home. If you like Pho, you must make an effort to try out Pho Today! read more

TL;DR - Excellent Vietnamese food at reasonable prices, all while dining in a spacious and modern designed interior. The summer of 2025 has resulted in several trips to Philly; which isn't a bad thing. As a native New Yorker, it pains me to say this, but I might actually "enjoy" traveling to this city MORE, since driving and parking are easier and the food is on par, if not in some cases, BETTER than what I find in NYC. During this most recent trip, we decided to pop into Pho Today, since one member of our group previously dined at and suggested this place. Upon entry, there is a take-out counter for drinks (boba, milk tea, etc.), desserts, and banh mi sandwiches. Follow the directional signs, and once you walk in, wait to be seated. The dining area is HUGE and well appointed. The windows towards the back, illuminate the room with lots of natural lighting. I would try and avoid the center seating, since those areas can get loud, and opt for one of the tables along the side wall. Water glasses and menus arrived shortly upon sitting. There were a few dishes ordered, but one of the dishes I always get at a new Viet restaurant to me is some version of rice vermicelli and lemongrass grilled pork . At Pho Today, I decided to make it "fancy" and get their number 1 Bún Đặc Biệt "Today". Special grilled pork, grilled shrimp, grilled beef, spring roll comes a top rice vermicelli. It get served with a side of veggies, limes, chili sauce, and of course, the house nuoc mam (aka, the dipping fish sauce). First off, the bowl is ginormous, Secondly, for $17, it's a steal since an equivalent order in the DC area would be at least $20, and in NYC close to $25. And lastly, did the dish taste good? No...it tasted amazing! All of the meats were marinated and grilled to provide both smoky notes as well as the right amount of char without being burnt. Unlike some places, there was more protein than noodles in the bowl. And I especially appreciate that the nuoc mam was not overly sweet. Everyone else seemed to enjoy their dishes, which ranged from steaming bowls of Bún Bò Huế to heaping plates Cơm Bò Lúc Lắc. Service was also superior. Staff were constantly checking in on the table to fill water glasses and provide extra napkins as needed. Apparently there are a few Pho Today restaurants (https://order.online/business/PhoToday-318909?utm_source=sdk&visitorId=197ac11d71358244e), so if you happen to be traveling between NJ and PA and come across a location, I HIGHLY recommend stopping in for some authentic Viet cuisine. read more

- Service: Fast and friendly. - Ambiance: This restaurant is very spacious. They also have a very nice area for you to wait for your tables or pick-up orders. - Food: I usually have my Viet food at Pho Today but Plainsboro location. This is my first time dining here in South Philly location. The menu is way extended which features more special dishes. - We got Goi Co Hu Dua Tom Thit and Bun Thi Nuong. The Goi is so so so good and refreshing. It goes very nice with the rice crackers. Huge shrimps and lots of meat. - Bun Thit Nuong is always good. The portion is huge! Nicely seasoned grilled pork and crispy spring rolls, they gave us a lot of lettuce and pickles too! I love Pho Today and will come back soon! Definitely recommend this to everyone. The parking lot in the strip mall is chaotic and difficult to find available spot . read more

My family has been coming here for a while but I never came with them until this time. The service was friendly, quick, and efficient. The space was clean and spacious. I got the 'bun thit nuong cha gio'. The grilled meat was really tasty. Had a very nice grilled flavor. The egg roll was crispy. My cousin got the 'bo luc lac' which also had a nice grill taste. The chunks of meat were bigger than I'd prefer but we just cut them into smaller pieces. Will be back for more meat dishes! read more

My friend and I came here for lunch on a Saturday and had a great experience. We ordered some tofu summer rolls to start which came with a yummy peanut dipping sauce. I ordered the Pho Chay (vegetarian noodle soup). I was amazed at the portion - I couldn't even fit all my leftovers into the container they gave me! The broth was super tasty, and there was a generous portion of all the veggies. I only wish there had been a bit more tofu. Overall, solid place for a nice bowl of pho on a cold winter's day. read more

For a place that's in the same plaza as several reputable pho places, Pho Today sets itself apart by being the only place that offers diverse vegetarian options AND a pho with a jumbo hunk of meat (Pho Today's short ribs) all on the same menu. Price here a bit steep, but their pho is pretty solid. Our table had pork and shrimp papaya salad, stir-fried tofu and veggies, Pho Filet Mignon, Pho Today, Che Thai, and avocado smoothies. Of the food dishes, the best was Pho Filet Mignon. Papaya salad wasn't exactly what I expected since the papaya slices were a bit too chunky for my liking. Flavor-wise, it wasn't bad but I've had better. Both pho dishes had tasty broth and a good amount of vermicelli noodles, but Pho Filet Mignon was a better bang for the buck overall since Pho Today had less meat and the meat balls were a bit tough. Ambience-wise, Pho Today's the only pho place in the plaza that's more suitable for hosting out-of-town guests who expected accommodations beyond the basics. I like that there are booths for seating as well a che bar. Service was also great in that the servers were readily available whenever we needed something and they checked up on us at just the right frequency without becoming intrusive. read more

Great Vietnamese food in the Philly area. Friendly staff are helpful and will help give you direction around the menu if you're not familiar. Location is big and a great location for groups. It's not too loud. The only downside is it's in a busy shopping center with our busy Asian restaurants and stores, so parking can be tough in busy times. All the food was authentic and delicious. We got spring rolls and soup to share with the group. Overall great experience, definitely come by and check it out. Though be warned that parking is packed most of the time so be warned! read more

My new favorite Vietnamese spot! I've tried a ton of dishes and have never been disappointed. Their bun bo hue is delicious and you can ask for extra sate to give it more spice. Love that it's served with the pork blood cubes and pork hock. The 3 meat platter was also a big hit with my table. All dishes are loaded with meat and they provide a ton of herbs for accompaniment. Place is large and I've never had an issue getting a table right away. Service is also on top of everything, remembering all my little asks. read more

I still remember the days this was Viet Huong, many fond memories over the years. We came by to settle a pho craving recently to check it out and had a great experience! As other reviewers have mentioned, the space is large and clean - a great spot for groups, although I could see it getting packed during lunch or dinner hours. We both ordered the Pho Ga, and the broth was great - and the chicken tasted fresh and was PLENTIFUL. My husband kept commenting on how more kept appearing at the bottom of the bowl. We also enjoyed the summer rolls, standard, fresh, but didn't love the peanut sauce here. Overall, I would absolutely consider Pho Today in my pho rotations read more

If you're craving food that will appear in front of you in less than 10 minutes in a sleek restaurant, Pho Today is the place for you. -- Highlights: There are some options for vegetarian pho! I've found most places offer no options, so this was a happy surprise. -- My latest visit to Pho Today was after disaster struck in my personal life, and I was craving quick and hearty soup. I was happy to see that there were vegetarian options! I got the vegetarian pho with special mushrooms, and though I wish the broth was a little more flavorful, the quantity and quality were perfect! The variety of mushrooms was nice and the quantity of noodles, broth, and vegetables was excellent. The oxtail soup was very hearty while the BBQ roast pork bahn mi was also good value for the price. All the food for my table arrived after maybe 10 minutes too! The restaurant is large and clean and my friends and I were happy to be seated fast, have our food arrive fast, and be able to sit and chat without being rushed out. It was quiet, which we appreciated. There were plastic cups which were a little strange. My friend who dined just last weekend commented they must be new. However, it didn't impact dining, it just felt out of place for such a nice restaurant. Overall, Pho Today saved my day with their tasty food and I would highly recommend a try, if in the area. read more

I was a bit skeptical as well coming here because of Pho today in New Jersey. It wasn't a nice restaurant but this one was so much better than New Jersey. The place had a good amount of seating and it was sort open where you can see the whole restaurant. The only thing for me was the parking lot was kind of tight just like the rest of Philly. I ordered the beef banh hoi and the portions was good. I finished the whole dish because either I was hungry or it was delicious. Maybe it was both, they also asked if I wanted to try a pineapple dipping sauce that came with the dish. I opted to try it and stuck with the good old fish sauce. The service was fast and friendly and no complaints. Overall, if I come back here I will try other dishes as well. Definitely a great Vietnamese restaurant in the area. read more

Located in a shopping center that is surrounded by other eateries, stores, and supermarkets. Beware: parking lot can be quite busy and spaces are a but tight. The dining area was spacious. Despite it being a Saturday night, there was only a short wait, and the service was impressively fast - our food arrived in under 10 minutes. The bathroom was by far the cleanest I've ever encountered in a restaurant! We ordered two grilled pork chop platters, one with an egg quiche and the other without, along with a shrimp and pork lotus root salad. The portions were just right, and the ingredients were incredibly fresh. The grilled pork chops were cooked to perfection. Overall, it was a great experience. The food was tasty, the service was prompt, and the cleanliness was top-notch. I would definitely recommend this spot and would happily return! read more

Excellent choice for takeout. We got the special bun and com tam today. Both were hearty generous in their portions of meat and had a ton of different components to their dishes. food: 10/10 service: 10/10 Environment: 10/10 food was amazing, the broth is super flavor full. i love that they have the option of creating your own since i'm not really a fan of thin sliced beef. the broth is already good on its on and with a hint of lime it enhances it rather than having to create the flavor like other shops. my first time having quail eggs in pho but it similar to hot pot. there are other options other than pho my server was Tien who is amazing and charismatic. not only did she check up on me multiple times but as well as the other tables here. came here alone for this visit but she did not fail to make its seem like i was here dining with someone. the place is clean there isn't a speck of sauce to be seen on the sprout of the sauce bottles. you can see reflections on the tables and chairs. definitely recommend this place if you're in the mood for pho. service is fast!! read more

Pho Today - "Special" Vermicelli - Vietnamese Near Me - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Upon a friend's recommendation, we headed to Phở Today at the 11th and Washington plaza. Overall, it was a good experience: dining space is new and large large, with banquette seating down the sides and center with tables and chairs opposite each row. Unlike other phở spots, the server coursed our meal, so we received the Bánh Xèo (Vietnamese pancake with shrimp and pork) and Café Sữa Đá (iced coffee with milk) first and then our orders of Bún Bò Huế and specialty Phở Suon Cay (large rib in the bowl and a side bowl of the extra xí Quach). Everything was tasty with good portion sizes: the Bún Bò Huế broth was especially flavorful and a nice spice level without any additions. We don't usually order such a large appetizer, so I actually wound up with leftover Bún Bò Huế, which I put into a container and revived with fresh noodles the next day. Definitely recommend a trip! read more

Pretty spacious restaurant. We had a larger group and had no trouble finding a table for us during lunch on a random weekday. We tried their pho, broken rice, banh mi, 3 colored drink, and viet coffee. We found prices a bit pricey, especially considering portions as well. I enjoyed the viet coffee, but everything else was just okay. The pho was not as flavorful as I would've liked it to be and portions were small for rice plates, banh mis, and pho. Service was friendly, but food was probably closer to 3.5/5 for us today. read more

We've eaten here over the years and the food is always consistently good, and they seem to do a lot of business. I just realized the other day that they are affiliated with the one in Lansdale. I love a good soup and their pho is very good- You can never go wrong if you start with the summer rolls or spring rolls. Some of our other favorites are the grilled pork chop, bahn mi sandwiches and papaya salad or any of the grilled proteins over vermicelli. The iced coffee, fresh lemonade and smoothies are must haves too. If you happen to see one of their other locations- give them a try- there is so much to choose from on the menu. Meat falls off the bone -Grilled pork chop: great taste, but protein is on the smaller size -Pho (meatball/tendons): again, great taste but i do prefer a larger size meatballs. The wife got the bun bo hue and her bowl was tasty as well. Nice and spicy! My son got a rice dish and my niece ordered a dry rice noodle dish. Meats were flavorful and cooked perfectly. This new Vietnamese restaurant looks very clean. Upon entering I was greeted by a friendly staff. I ordered banh xeo and summer rolls with shrimp. Summer rolls: it's all about the dipping sauce. Unfortunately, it's not too tasty. It's thick and light brown. It came with chopped peanuts. I expected to have hoisin sauce. Banh Xeo: it came with a huge bag of lettuce and mint. The Vietnamese crepe was greasy but had a lot of bean sprouts filling. The grease was leaking out to the bag. It has sweet vinegar dipping or sauce to give flavor. read more

We randomly stumbled upon the newly opened Pho Today a couple of months back, and it's where we've been going to satisfy our Pho and Bun Bo Hue cravings now. We always order for takeout, and they pack everything very neatly. The garnish is fresh and not stale. The portions are fair with not too much noodles. The broth in the Bun Bo Hue is flavorful and spicy. Right now, I really like their Bun Bo Hue more than their neighboring Vietnamese restaurants. As for the Pho, I thought it was okay. I'm not a big fan of Pho. The only Pho that I like is from a restaurant up in Montgomery County. Anyway, my husband seemed to enjoy Pho Today's Pho, though. Also, their spring rolls are super thicc, definitely one of the fattest rolls I've seen. They don't premix the crushed peanuts in the peanut sauce. They pack the crushed peanuts separately so you can mix it on your own when you get home. This way, the peanuts don't taste grainy, and you still get that crunchiness from the crushed peanuts. read more
