I preferred this place versus the other Phó place up the street because their food and prices were better. I recently ate here and noticed that their dishes went up by $1.00-$1.50. The stir fried plates will leave you hungry as the portions are small. The wait staff are nice and attentive at least. read more

Very friendly Vietnamese restaurant located in Irving. When craving PHO this is the place to go. Ordered grilled Pork Bánh mì and crispy egg rolls. Large bowl of Pho with well done brisket and meat balls. And the com rice legacy plate. The spices in the jar are both very spicy but wow really good! Strip mall.location does not tell the quality of food being presented. Great selections and all fresh. The place has an unassuming menu. But don't be fooled. It's good and worth the repeat visits. Yummy food and spice ! read more

Simply delicious. Always open, rain or shine! I really like this place as it opens everyday. Food tastes very authentic with large portion plus inexpensive price. My standard Pho house in DFW. Good tasting broth, all the normal selections. My bad - I'm always coming here for the Pho, so I haven't had much else on the menu. My hubby likes the Bun offerings well - so well, that I don't ever get a sample from his bowl, so I think that means it's really good. I'm a snob for the pho tai gan, and this is done as God and Vietnam must have intended. Perfectly tender raw beef is dropped in the hot broth and cooks up just perfectly medium rare, the tendon is plenty and is soft and velvety. Yum. I'll eventually eat more off the menu, but as long as I spend way too many weeks in NW AR with not a decent Vietnamese restaurant close by, Legacy - you are my pho fix! read more

Placed a to go order here for Filet Mignon Pho and Chicken Fried Rice. The rice was very light but filling. It tasted alot healthier than the typical "chicken fried rice". My pho was great! I added a squirt of lime with chili sauce and a few crunchy noodles. It was great. I have eaten here many times. For the first time, I was sorely disappointed. Ordered the filet and beef meatball pho with extra meatballs. If you order extra, ask for them on the side. I'm not convinced I got extra. And when I asked for cilantro you would have thought I'd asked nachos. Waitress could not have cared any less or knew how to smile. A very clean and spacious place. The service was quick and friendly. We had egg rolls, which were at the top of my list, and shrimp spring rolls. For dinner filet beef bowl and a pork bowl. This is definitely one of the best Vietnamese places around. The food is always fresh, service is nice, and prices/portions are great. I never order for deliver BUT I'm sure happy I did. I'm always nervous not picking up or dining in for Pho as at times I have to remind them of all the fixings. Two years after moving to Dallas from Austin, I never thought I would be writing that Austin's Pho game trumps Dallas'. I've been searching for good Pho in the greater DFW area and still have not found one place that I consider passable. The first thing I noticed at Pho Legacy was the drinking water quality. I don't even know how to describe what the issue is, but this is a distinctive problem that I've encountered at a few restaurants in the past. I don't know if what I am about to describe is the actual cause, but it felt like the water contained more than a safe level of mineral deposits. Yeap, now that I think of it, the water at Pho Legacy reminds me of water from water fountains at public facilities. Even the thickness of the broth couldn't hide the issue as every spoonful felt icky. read more

I usually choose this or the empire place depending on who I want to take a gamble on. Pho is pretty tasty, I probably wouldn't get the chicken it's rubbery for me and the skin they leave on the chicken is hairy, but that was only one time. The spring rolls aren't normal which is weird, they put lettuce in it which I dnt like. But otherwise pretty good. read more

The service was good and fast. I went during lunchtime and I like how the staff works together. Soon as your finished you can pay at the front counter. Make for an easy in-our experience during lunchtime. I started either the Spring Rolls which are filling. Definitely a place I'd go back for during lunch. read more

Irving and the surrounding airport burbs is pretty stacked on Vietnamese options, and Pho Legacy is a decent one. Star 1: How were the service and atmosphere? While Pho Legacy is basic, it's basic in a clean and efficient sort of way, which certainly beats the alternative. Service is fast, and speed matters when you're on the hunt for a quick bite mid day. Star Granted. Star 2: How were the portions relative to the cost? $6.99 is more or less market price for a decent sized bowl of Vietnamese anything, and that's exactly what I paid for Vermicelli and pork. Star Granted. Stars 3 and 4: How was the food? This was a good dish but not a great one, and I immediately recognized that both the portion of the pork and the quality of the peripherals (carrots, cucumber, etc.), was less than what I'm used to at nearby Pho Empire just up the road. Single Star Granted. Star 5: Would you eat here every day if you could? Pho Legacy is okay, but with Pho Empire so close by I simply can't say I'll frequent legacy. No Star Granted. read more

I'm a big fan of TENDON and this place delivers not 1or 2 pieces like most JOINTS but 6 or 7 nice size bites! Please do not let the look of the outside exterior or parking lot concern you,... this is Irving after all. Once you get past the harsh exterior. This establishment is a diamond in the rough. I found this to be a great friendly, family run business. This was my first time to have Phô, and I loved it, our waitress was very pleasant and patient, I had a lot of questions! I used to come here for lunch and I'd always get a bowl of Pho Ga (chicken Pho) . The service is fine and the pho is mediocre. The place reminds me of a old banquet hall. Maybe its because of the type of chairs and tables... This is def and eat and go type place. I've had other things here but honestly this place doesn't make my mouth salivate as do other places. The bean spouts they give you with the Pho seem old. Like they were reused portions that other patrons have left behind, maybe to cut costs. It really needs an update (including the bathroom) and the iced tea didn't taste like iced tea. I'm sure this is a family owned business and the are people are indeed nice, but when you're competing for money, you need to put on your best. I think some small improvements to this establishment will go a long way. On that list I would include to correct the broken English on the front windows. it does make me laugh though. :) There used to be this BIG, ugly, bubble face fish in their aquarium I'd always see. One day it was gone. Maybe they ate it...? JK!! Calm down! Maybe I'm being harsh, but I guess it is what it is. If I'm in the area I'll swing through...but if I'm around there I'll probably just head to Maki Boy (sushi). read more

First time eating at this establishment and I'm so mad I have to give my very 1st bad review. I'll hit the positives first. The server was very friendly. The food came out fast. It was delicious. Now for the negative. I ordered a strawberry bubble tea. I was informed they were out. Cool no problem but don't ask me if I still want it if you don't have it. As I'm eating my delicious #56 meal I see a bug floating in my broth. So the waitress came over and apologized and asked if I was alright...no, I'm not alright I can't eat cause there's a bug doing laps in my bowl. So of course they comp my meal but I didn't get anything else I got up and left. If it wasn't for that bug and them not having the bubble tea, it would've been perfect! read more

This was my very first time eating at Pho Legacy, and I'm glad that I gave it a try! For starters, the prices are GREAT!! I had the white meat chicken Pho and it was really good. The broth was flavorful and the portion was huge, I'm sure that I can eat from it two more times. It came with fresh jalapeños, cilantro, bean sprouts, a ton of basil ( which is a plus) red and green onions. Over all this dish was great! I also had two pork egg rolls and they were amazing, perfectly crispy and flavorful! I'm definitely going back again. Oh and one more thing, this place delivers! read more

Only to have an outdoor tent dining experience. I got it here in Texas! The vibe was nostalgic and delightful. From the familiar Vietnamese playlist, to the cool weather to the warmth from the heat lamps. It was the perfect recipe to make an effortless family night out. We went through the entire menu it seems like since there were 9 of us. Everything was nicely executed. I did not get to try the drinks, but my siblings loved theirs. I look forward to going back again to venture more of the menu and seasonal options. Until then, Korea will have to wait.

I couldnt finish anything other than egg rolls and that was only because i stopped dipping them in the wierd sauce that looked like water with oil floating on top. The sandwhich was disgusting and i only took 3 bites. The bread was very tough and stale like it sat out for a few days. The meat was very gritty. Every bite was like vinegar soaked sand. The Chicken Spring roll was just as bad. Meat so tough i could hardly chew it. The veggies inside had old brown spots and didnt look fresh at all. I ended up throwing nearly all of it away. I just moved to the area and was hoping to find some great places to eat. I wont be ordering from here ever again.

Tried the spring rolls with the peanut sauce and o practically picked the peanut sauce bowl! Vermicelli was nice and looked so fresh! Put the sauce over it and dug in. When I say this was hood its an understatement I drank the sauce at the bottom of the bowl thats how much h I liked it! The place was pretty dead which I didn't mind their menu looked freaked good ill have to come back and try some other dishes! Staff 10 outa 10 kept coming buy and making sure everything was good Location 10 outa 10 clean and smelled nice Pork and shrimp Vermillion 10 outa 10 drank the bottom of the bowl Beef spring rolls 10 outa 10 the peanut sauce is the cherry on top! Almost all tables were occupied by people of different cultures, assuring me that the food served here is very likable and enjoyed by many people. The menu was varied and the price is very reasonable. When I ordered the combination pho, apparently it comes with a rib, a bone with full of meat, which was only available when you dine-in. I loved it. I will definitely come back to My Lan Vietnamese Kitchen whenever I am close by.

The tofu itself would have been better if it was finished off with some kind of sauce. I also wish they had a vegetarian broth option for pho since their pho seemed very popular. Service was good and ambience is nice.
