My family and I have been coming here weekly for the past 2 years. Their food is consistently delicious and fresh. The pho never disappoints! [[HIGHLIGHT]]As soon as you walk in to the restaurant you are hit with the smell of pho broth permeating throughout the restaurant. That tells me they always got a fresh batch going.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] You can truly taste the time and love that goes in to making their product. Their service is amazing. As a regular customer they have already memorized our order! We are usually always greeted with a "hello, do you want the same thing?" And we always get the same thing! We never get tired of this place! My wife and I always look forward to our weekly visit to Pho Hut to satisfy our craving for Pho! [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant is clean, cool and inviting.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I have been to other pho restaurants in the area and this one is by far the best. When you eat there ask them for their house made chili garlic sauce and add a little to your pho if you like spice. The chili garlic sauce really makes this place unique. They also carry sriracha like every other pho restaurant if that's more your style. But trust me their house chili garlic really makes this place special and compliments the pho perfectly. The sauce has hints of lemongrass and ginger with a nice kick of I believe Thai chili and minced garlic that has been slightly toasted in oil. You can also buy some of it to take home. Thank you to Andy and all of the Pho Hut team that makes this place special. See you soon!

This is, without a doubt, my favorite place to eat in Los Angeles. I've been coming here almost every week for the past 10 years, and it just keeps getting better. The food is always fresh, the service is friendly, and [[HIGHLIGHT]]the atmosphere is cozy and welcoming.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] My go-to orders are the Beef Steak Pho, Chicken Pho, Spring Rolls, and Egg Rolls. The Thai tea is fantastic too. If you're looking for delicious, authentic Vietnamese food, I highly recommend giving this place a try. Parking in front can sometimes be busy, but there are plenty of additional parking spaces behind the building. You can also enter the restaurant from the back. See you next week!

*this review is just about the viet coffee* My guy wanted some viet coffee so we made a stop here. I'm super picky with my viet coffee, but I enjoyed the one from here. Not the best I've had, but I ended up drinking more of it than I had planned. I'm definitely not normally a coffee drinker. Would like to come back here to try the food sometime.

I LOVEEEE THIS PLACE! I'm a regular here and I've made it my job to introduce everyone I know to the delicious pho they have here. I've truly never had better, the beef broth is out of this world. If you're ever in the area and are craving a delicious authentic soup, pleasee take the time to check this place out, they deserve all the love. I love their no meat pho with broccoli and their thai tea!!

This place is seriously so flavorful and delicious! The people here are always so sweet and welcoming, and you can tell they truly appreciate their customers. This is honestly the best pho I've had; and I've tried pho in so many places around the world! I also love that I can get food this good so close to home. If you love pho, you definitely need to visit this place. Highly recommend!!! (Ive brought everyone I know here, my usual order is: no meat pho with no onion and cilantro but add broccoli, lime, bean sprouts, and sriracha)

Pho Hut is an excellent Vietnamese restaurant in Glendale. The food is authentic, fresh, and full of flavor. Their pho is outstanding--the broth is rich, comforting, and easily some of the best I've had. The nem (Vietnamese spring rolls) are also delicious and a must-try. [[HIGHLIGHT]]What makes this place even more special is the owner, who always makes us feel at home with a warm and welcoming atmosphere.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The service is friendly and genuine, which keeps us coming back. Their rice combo plates are fantastic, especially the pork chop, which is perfectly seasoned and cooked. I also highly recommend the vermicelli dishes--they are flavorful, generous, and satisfying. If you're looking for authentic Vietnamese food in Glendale, Pho Hut is definitely worth a visit. Highly recommended!

The Original: Why Pho Hut is the Only Heart You Need in Glendale ------ A good bowl of pho will always make me happy, take me to that special place where everything is beautiful and nothing hurts." Anthony Bourdain was right, of course. It's a special kind of magic. But you don't find that special place in a sterile, centrally-kitchened, corporate-optimized noodle factory. You find it in places with grit. Places with heart. You find it behind an unassuming glass storefront on the boulevard, under a simple green sign. In Glendale, that place is, without question, Pho Hut. The First and the Few // They aren't newcomers riding a trend. Pho Hut is the O.G.--the original pho spot in Glendale, holding it down since 2007. They are specialized practitioners, not generalists trying to please everyone. When you speak to the owner, you immediately understand the philosophy that drives the place: "There is no bad food--only food made with or without heart." His mission is beautiful and simple: use this food to educate the community on what real Vietnamese cuisine is supposed to taste like. The Vibe and the Fuel // [[HIGHLIGHT]]The interior is exactly what it needs to be: clean, simple, and functional. Wood-paneled wainscoting, hanging industrial-style lamps, and a few canvases of fishermen casting nets at sunset.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] It's a dining room built for eating, not for Instagram. Before the main event, you get your mind right with a deeply roasted, unforgivingly strong, and beautifully sweet Vietnamese iced coffee. It's a pulse-quickening caffeine hit that wakes up the palate and sets the stage for the heavy lifting to come. The Daily Labor of Love // While the big chains are busy maximizing efficiency with pre-made, industrialized broths shipped in plastic bags from a central facility, Pho Hut is engaged in a daily labor of love. They make everything from scratch. Every broth is created daily, simmering and developing over 20 hours. It is a painstaking, exhausting process, but you cannot fake that depth. It isn't optimized for profit; it's optimized for taste. The Specialist's Table // If you want the titans of texture and flavor, this is your table. We're talking pho with melt-in-your-mouth Filet Mignon and massive, rich Beef Ribs that make standard cuts look pale in comparison. The tripe and tendons are masters of their craft--tender, yielding, yet still retaining that necessary, authentic bite. But the absolute hidden gem of Glendale? The Oxtail. If you know, you know. It is rich, cartilaginous, and deep--a treasure buried at the heart of the original spot. The Ritual // There is a beautiful, necessary ritual when the steaming bowl finally hits the table. The tabletop battle station is already prepped: Sriracha, Lee Kum Kee Hoisin, and chili paste standing at attention. The process is critical. You take that side plate of vibrant, fresh herbs and plunge every single basil leaf and crisp bean sprout deep into the hot broth. You aggressively squeeze the citrus and drop the spent hull right in for that sharp, acidic punch. The jalapeños? Those are eaten separately on the side--a necessary, raw heat that accompanies every complex bite of meat and noodle. The Verdict // The service here completes the experience. It has a personal touch that you rarely find anymore--it feels less like a transaction and more like a relative bringing you a bowl at a family gathering. If you are seeking a bowl that will truly take you to that special place Bourdain spoke of, skip the chains. Go to the original. Go to Pho Hut, watch them work, and eat a bowl made with a damn heart.

We ordered the Philly and Pastrami to split and share. We dined in which was among a few small tables situated between the shelves of well-lit and visually clean bottles of liquor. Service was friendly but nothing memorable. After about 10 minutes, both sandwiches were brought to our table. They were hot and came on toasted rolls. Not really sure what bread specifically but seemed a bit like French rolls. Crunch crusts with soft middles which helped to cradle the fillings and absorb the delicious meat juices. The pastrami was great and not overly salty. It had a great zing from the crunchy pickles and mustard. The Philly was nice and gooey. The beef had great texture and was dripping with flavor (literally). Both were very good but I personally liked the pastrami better. If you like meat though, neither will disappoint. We will be back to try the other sandwiches. The only down side to our visit was buying sodas at the store. Their prices weren't listed and in my head, I expected them to be $3 or so. The Mexican Coke and small bottle of lemonade were each $6. $20 for a sandwich isn't cheap, but it price didn't make me gag--but I almost physically gagged when i saw soda prices ring up. Next time, we'll get our sandwiches to go and get drinks elsewhere.
