2020.05-17/1200: Drove from North Hollywood to try this place. The staff is awesome here and the broth is delicious and clean. Of course, we had this for take away since we can't dine in. By the time we got home, our food was still fresh. Their sides of bean sprouts, basil and jalapeños were fresh. The bean sprouts were super crispy - so that was a plus. The broth was delicious. Like I said earlier, it was clean and very flavorful. It's crazy to say this but I swear I can taste bone marks in their broth which is a plus for us! It's a rich flavor that I love. The meats, including the tendon was super soft. I even enjoyed the tripe, too. It was not chewy- it was nice and soft. We will be back to try the rest of their food. read more

A pho place on the busy street of Brand across from Portos. Don't have high expectations but it's decent and haven't had any bad experiences yet. Pho noodles are pretty good, but they give more broth than noodle. Food coma will hit hard. Ordered a vermicelli to-go during covid and it was packaged nicely. Restaurant closes at 10pm. Got there at 9:30pm and still welcomed us for dine in. They took our order and brought the food in less than 5 minutes. To be honest it's not the best Pho in the city, but it was still very delicious. Will come back sometime later for sure. read more

Okay pho. I came here about a month ago. I ordered the charbroiled pork vermicelli ($12.25) and some pork and shrimp spring rolls ($6.75). The pork was okay and could have been cooked better. It didn't have as much of the savory-pork and crispy taste that I would have liked. The spring rolls were very disappointing. It had shrimp but the pork was super dry, which ruined the whole roll for me. The service of the place was good. The employees were very friendly and checked in on me while I waited for the food. I placed the order when I arrived at the place, and the order took about 10-15 minutes. Indoor dining is available and there's a lot of tables available. Overall, this restaurant did not wow me, and I most likely won't come back. But feel free to try this place with a friend as the vibes are great and the services are good! read more

Upon arrival, I was greeted by the staff and, allowed to sit anywhere I liked, since they weren't that busy. I ordered the Phô Hut Special which, to my surprise, was packed with flavor! The noodles were perfectly cooked and the meats were tender! I savored this bowl of comfort, till' the last drop! Alongside the Phô, I decided to add an order of crispy Chicken wings. I have been coming to this little restaurant since it was little (actually half the size it is now). Previously, I would give it solid 4 stars, but today 3. New menu New chopsticks But what was missing was the old soup. Granted, today is Sunday. The good servers and chef need a day off too, so it's worth a visit back. The televisions were at full blast today. Usually they're on, and during the weekday lunch crowd, set to news or sports with no volume. After being asked to look at a project in Glendale I came across this place while walking down the street. The restaurant barely stands out and I almost missed it. Location: In the heart of downtown Glendale with plenty of parking along the street but be prepared to pay at the meter for parking. Atmosphere: Honestly this place is nothing fancy and the menu is reasonably priced. Food: I ordered the Vermicelli which was promptly served but was immediately turn off by the lukewarm egg rolls which also hardly had any flavor. The shrimps also were also lukewarm at best and bland. The ingredients also tasted strange especially the sliced carrots which tasted more like canned food. I like this location since it's near my work. Their food is really decent and portion is big that a guy sometimes might not able to finish. I usually get their vermicelli. Their egg rolls are tasty. The food gets ready within 15 minute and I can just pick and go which is pretty fast. Only dine in once, ordered the soup. It taste decent. Wow. I was having a pretty thumbs down day. I came here hoping to get some pho and go home and just relax with my pup. I always get worried about ordering pho soup because I'm picky about broth. I was worried about going home and being let down. But wow. So delicious!! And on top of the fact that it's seriously top two I've ever had... it took them only 2 minutes to get ready! I went here with my choir after mass on Sunday. We had been here a few times before, but it seemed a bit different service wise this time around. After they got our tables ready and we had settled in, they had left us with no menus, except for the two that we had grabbed by the register while waiting to be seated. One of the servers came around and realized we all didn't have menus, so they went to grab some for us. We finally got our orders in after looking over the menus and watched clips of AGT via YouTube videos playing on the big screen TV by us. Food started to roll in and I soon realized that our order was both wrong and I completed. I had requested a large size of the avocado smoothie and only realized mine was just a regular size when my friend had other a regular sized one later on during his meal. We ordered spring rolls that never came and my pork bahn mi was actually a beef one that I ended up accepting since my friend that had ordered the beef got my pork one, even thought two servers said mine was deifnitely pork. When we got the bill, they did charge a regular size for my drink, but definitely charged us for the spring rolls that name came. We requested for our bill to be updated before paying and the server who came around was wondering why one of our bills wasn't paid for and we had to remind her that ours needed to be updated. Since the pandemic started I've ordered from here a few times and honestly they've always been quick. The food is good and I've never had any complaints. The pho is a good portion and they are not stingy with their side veggies. The Bahn Mi is okay. Not the best but there's not many options in Glendale for Vietnamese so I'll settle for it if I have to. I really enjoy their spring rolls. The veggies inside are always fresh and crunchy. Amazing Pho and plus they open late. I love the broth here and the coconut desserts are a must.

The pho here is usually alright... but the Bo Kho (beef stew) here is just "bad". The beef stew "soup" is very watery, thin, and not the right flavor-- it may as well be pho soup base (it certainly seems like they used a lot pho base as opposed to the thicker richer Bo Kho stew base you might expect). The meat portions were also small, the carrots and egg noodles very undercooked. Noodles were stuck together and tasted raw. Giving 3 stars here as a charity since their pho items otherwise haven't disappointed. TLDR; skip the Bo Kho and just stick to what they do right: order pho. read more
