Soup is good but kind of to much msg or something that make me can't finish my soup !! And bit pricey for pho !!

Tyler needed a place like this! Great pho! Broth was super flavorful! Got the P1 and I loved the meatballs the best. Thai tea was good but boba was slightly undercooked. It's about time Tyler got a decent Pho place. Had the brisket and meatball pho during the grand opening. Broth and meatballs were good. Brisket was too fatty. I know Vietnamese normally like the real fatty brisket, but I prefer it leaner. The wait was quite long for a bowl of pho but it was their first day and they were packed! No big deal though. I recommended Pho Hot 12 months ago to anyone who'd listen. Today I take it ALL back!! I thoroughly enjoyed their soup and a few other things on their menu. As of LATELY, their service has gone to hell! They are rude! Their Wonton soup is made with cheese. Ive lived in many places and understand ppl make things differently everywhere but it's NOT made with slimy cheese. Especially that taste like a ball of snot in your mouth! When you politely tell the server "it's not very good, could you please take it back?" And they reply rudely with a "No" and "You will pay bc you ordered it!" I was not amused one bit. Ok then. So be it. I've been a loyal customer for an entire year. Visited at least once a week. If not me then my spouse or my children. Pho Hot you have lost a faithful customer!! I wanted to love this place, I really did but it's very mediocre. We ordered the Combination Vermicelli, and the Hot Spicy Beef Pho along with a Vietnamese Coffee. All of which was basic. The coffee wasn't what it should've been, I feel like it was made ahead of time and just refrigerated, and had a very think unpleasant texture, almost reminded me of those cartons of premade Mocha/Latte mix you get in the dairy section. Wasnt worth the $4.00 they charge for it. Also the soft drinks, are canned and they charge you per can. The Pho was okay, nothing made it stand out. Same as the Vermicelli, the meat tasted charred, which masked what little flavor the rest of the ingredients had. Service was meh, nothing spectacular, nobody asked us if we had any questions, didn't really seem to care how we were doing through out our meal. read more

They've remained consistently great and I have a hard time not going there more than I do, which is a lot. Yesterday I tried item number P-8 and I tell you what, the meat served in that bowl of PHO (fuh) was great tasting and loaded with flavors I've never had before. I came in to get a avocado smoothie and while I waited the server was kind enough to Offer water and I said yes I would take water. About 5 minutes later the owner or cashier lady came up to the table being rude af saying "your not ordering food" and I simply said no just waiting for the smoothie and she made me feel very uncomfortable because she said " oh your only coming in for water and smoothie " it was very unprofessional I came to visit from California and this was the worst service I have ever had at a pho spot. On top of that I didn't have boba in my smoothie and she did not hand it to me she left it on the table. Never coming here again. read more

I was all prepared to love this place. So excited to have more pho options in town. However--the pho is so salty and sugary that I can't finish half a bowl. Ramp down the sugar and salt and ?MSG? And I'll be thrilled. Same thing with the Bo Bun Hue. Not terribly fresh and overwhelming salty/sweetness. I think this is a chain so maybe they have to stick to a seasoning mix?? read more

I gave a one star because none of there stock is fresh. We asked about it and a cook came and showed us a pre package of chicken stock they use for the phone. The chicken for the pho tasted dry and it tasted like the chicken you get and Sam's or Costco. I had the chicken and pork sandwiches which were alright but wish then had more meat. read more

The food here is really awesome. I haven't had anything from here I dislike yet. You can taste how fresh the ingredients are and the portions are huge. The only problem I have is that the service can be a little curt or forgetful. I've been here a few times now and each time they didn't bring drinks until long after my main course was served. I was patient and tried to eat slowly, but I still got my drink after I finished my food. However on the other hand, they bring your food out very quickly and haven't failed to deliver on quality. I really recommend this place for anyone looking for Vietnamese cuisine in the Tyler area. I try to be really honest with these reviews and the main criticism I have is that they need to have more competent waitstaff. read more

The food used to be good here before the pandemic and before the toilet issue which also closed down Jason's next door. : ( I always get the chicken noodle soup and the beef lo mein but recently the beef lo mean tasted very artificial and nowhere near as good as it used to be, but the chicken noodle soup tasted great. Anyways, I have kind of lost faith in the beef lo mein so I just go with a large chicken noodle soup. All in all though, way better than chaingmai and very good food, also fast. Served pork and beef items twice for a chicken noodle dish even though the management is aware we don't consume it. Ordered the Lemon grass chicken with vermicelli noodles bowl. Bowl was delivered to the table after a 15 minute wait with pork on top instead of chicken. Clearly not what was ordered even though the staff member wrote the item number down on the check. Bowl was taken back to the kitchen and brought back out within 2 minutes. Not sure how it could be remade in such span of time. Asked the server two times for confirmation if the dish was remade with new ingredients, he claimed "yes" each time and nodded. Beef remnants and other questionable pieces of meat laid underneath the chicken pieces. Clearly the kitchen staff had just removed the pork and placed the chicken on top and added beef into the bowl for good measure. Vegetables and noodles were in the same position. Spoke with the staff again and they seemed confused why there was beef. Take caution when ordering from this location or simply go elsewhere whether it be in person or to go. read more

The food is really good I loved it so much BUT when we sat down they asked us immediately what we wanted. We got spring rolls and The crab ragoons. He came 2 minutes later asked us what we wanted. We were not ready and he never came back. We sat for 30 mins and a waitress asked if we were ready and we said yes. She didn't come back. Recently moved to Tyler from Houston and was craving Vietnamese food really bad, so I went here to try it out. Must I say they really exceeded my expectations and surprised me. I got the Pho Bo vien, which I always get at other places and it was pretty good, especially the broth. The place is really cute and they keep up with COVID precautions well. My favorite soup is Bu Bun Hue. Had to try it here. The broth was delicious and the owner came out twice to check on me. Even brought more vegetables for the bowl. Everything was fresh and tasty. Terrible service. Waited for 25 minutes and the waitress didn't even know we were there. Got to go box, but the waitress not allowed to take one of each sauce. You only allow one sauce. Either spice or none-spice. What if one of you like spice and one not? read more

This was the first pho Ive had since I moved to Tyler. It was very delicious, just as good as any other pho that I've had. I went with friends who ordered fried rice and a stirfry. This is the best pho I've ever had. I ordered the eye of round pho to go. The veg and raw meat comes on the side so you can add when ready m, which keeps it from being over cooked. It was tender and delicious! The best pho in town. I hope they keep it up! read more

So glad to finally have a Vietnamese restaurant in Tyler. We had the tofu fresh spring rolls and Bun, one with chicken and one a combination of shrimp, egg roll and pork. The spring rolls were lacking in size and variety of vegetables, only lettuce, vermicelli and tofu. Would have preferred the addition of basil, carrots, cucumbers, etc. that I expect in spring rolls to give them more flavor. The Bun was excellent, some of the best that I have had. Although, the restaurant was full the service was outstanding. We'll definitely be back frequently. read more
