However, instead of getting the dish like I had at the restaurant, they just dumped full, unskinned thigh and leg into the container, resulting in having to fish out the parts, remove the skins and cut the meat from bone myself. It is almost unfair that this reviewer has patronized hundreds of Thai restaurants and anticipated a better outcome than was had at this one. Always wishing to mention first the positives, the decor and ambiance were well above expectations, as was the service. The tom ka gai (chicken/coconut soup) was tasty, except for the rubbery chicken pieces. The same rubbery texture, unfortunately, was present in the larb gai, which was inedible. It could not have been saved, even if the chicken had been ground finer. I asked for prik nam pla (a very common Thai condiment), and they were, astonishingly, unfamiliar with it; they also had no knowledge of sambal, another common Thai condiment. My partner had chicken (again, rubbery) and vegetables that were overcooked. The brown sauce was tasteless and watery. It is worthy of mention that this review is based solely on the items we ordered; we didn't try the Thai standards like pad Thai or curries), so another visit will be required for a full picture of the offerings. read more

Nice inside and very fast courteous service. I ordered a fried tofu appetizer and Pad Thai with tofu and my companion had the coconut soup with tofu. It was delivered very fast. I was surprised how fast. My companion said the flavor was good but the mushrooms and shallots weren't really cooked in her soup. The fried tofu was good. Saw they had Pad See Ew so decided to try. Not impressed, ordered to go. Quick service, friendly staff, nice atmosphere but food wasn't what I expected. The food is always on point. The service ? NOPE! June is our server again. We noticed that she never smiling, never engaging and seems to always be stoic and in a bad mood. We always eat here and every time she would be our server, she is that way with us. We see that she's not like that with others , why are you singling us out? We used to give a good tip the first ad the second time she waited on us. Tonight? She didn't even deserve the 5.00 tip I left on the table. The first time we said oh maybe she's just having a bad day, we ignored it, the second time , again? And tonight? I bet waiting is a tiring job but also now that if you are nice to your customers ( even if you are faking it ) it is automatic that you get. Good tip! The sauce for the egg roles smelled so strongly of ginger? It was so strong that it resembled a chemical cleaner smell - I had to throw the sauce out because I just couldn't get past the smell. I plan to add some scrambled eggs tomorrow because I really like them in the rice. I also ordered Edamame. I had to microwave it to finish cooking and add some salt, but it was excellent after that. Located in a little strip mall area in the middle of Tyler. A cute, bright, large flavor Thai restaurant that I can't complain about. I had Panang Curry and the family had beef and broccoli, children nuggets, dynamite roll and a Japanese bento box. My son thought his chicken was weird and refused to eat it however, I think the flavor profile was just a little more overpowering then he's use to. I liked the curry but, wouldn't order it again and the sushi roll took the cake as far as delicious. Perhaps too three favorite sushi rolls I've ever had. Friendly staff, though a little slow. The Tom Sum soup was very good; however, others may find it too spicy. My seafood curry was also very good, but the squid was so tough that I finally gave up on trying to eat it. After 5-7 minutes I was greeted and sat at a table given a menu and tea. 10 minutes later a couple came in we're greeted their orders taken and still no one came to take my order.I waited for 10 more minutes, stood up and walked out the door, no one stopped me or asked me anything. I wish I could give this review negative 5 stars but it's not an option here. If you are a hungry man or woman you will starve to death here. It bothers me that there are so many negative reviews here, I personally don't understand. I've eaten here probably 30 times, and I love it, I crave it and to me it's amazing. Pretty spicy though if your not a fan beware the red curry lol, but that's actually my personal fave. My kids love it, they get the teddy bear shaped chicken fried rice every time and the strawberry boba tea. I can understand the poor reviews for the service because I have had some instances where I've had to wait a bit, but that's far and few between, for the most part the the service is good, but I can honestly say the food has been good every time. Our waitress was Melinda, she was friendly and attentive. We ordered edamame, which was salted and steamed to perfection. Their Crab Rangoon is more crab meat with a light cream cheese, which was enjoyable compared to other cuisines that go heavy on the cream cheese and light on the crab meat. My husband ordered the Prik Khing at a spice level of four. He kept commenting on how many different flavors there were and he really enjoyed his meal. The Chicken Chow Mein was wonderful, and I actually ate the broccoli because it was so tender. My daughter loved her Chicken Fried Rice, which I stole a bite of, and the rice was so tender and moist.
