Excellent place to get that food. Great flavors. Good service. Soups, rice apps are all good. Good go to place for Thai cravings

Paid $2-3 extra for brown rice; it came wrapped in plastic and shoved into a rice box, obviously microwaved in the plastic.... A good Asian restaurant would never do this.. plus it's so easy to just have a small rice cooker for brown rice and leave it on all day, just like you do with white rice..... Pathetic... and harmful to health. read more

Chiangmai Thai Kitchen - Paid extra... for Microwaved brown rice - in plastic wrap!!!!..... - Thai Near Me - Tyler, Texas

We wanted to check on this place again, and we were stunned--and not in a good way. We sent back the chicken pad Thai and should have sent back the tom yum gai soup. In the Pad Thai and the soup, the chicken was old and rubbery. The pad Thai noodles were slimy and tasteless. This was easily the classic Thai dish against which no other would wish to be measured. And, for the first time in 60 years of our dining out, the owner refused to take the shunned pad Thai off our bill, although we had only tasted it; you have been warned. The only positive note was that the server was great and oh, so apologetic while holding out his hand for the payment. This placed looked best in our rear view mirror. read more

I ordered delivery from here so I cannot comment of the ambiance of the restaurant itself or the service provided at the restaurant. As far as the food goes, the pad Thai was decent! Not the best Thai food I've ever had, but it filled my craving at the time. I would pass on the crab rangoons, they tasted very artificial and I would not order them again from here. read more

This place is amazing! Their Jasmine fried rice with Chinese sausage is absolutely fantastic and the Pad Thai is something to write home about. Small place with great food. Don't pass this up! You need to eat here. read more

What a great meal, one of the best I've had in Tyler. We shared both the coconut soup and the garlic egg soup. They were fabulous. Spring rolls with peanut sauce were good. Our entree was chicken Thai Basil Noodles. Fresh basil was the key. I recommend highly. read more

my mother went to this restaurant a few weeks ago. whoever the waitress was was extremely rude to her when my mom was paying the bill. she usually likes to charge the bill to credit and leave a cash tip. the waitress noticed that she did not add a tip to the credit card and the waitress rudely stated to her to, "make sure to leave the tip on the table." extremely rude and uncalled for in any sense. no restaurant is good enough for staff to be acting like that. especially in Tyler, TX lmfao. don't go here!:) read more

Came here for dinner after spending the day doing all sorts of activities we were hungry. We had a party of 4 and were seated promptly. Ordered a variety of dishes. The waitress was extremely patient and helpful with giving us recommendations. Portion size and price is good. Food tastes marvelous and was very fresh. We had a great time and would be happy to come back if we are ever in the area again. read more

We stopped in for the first time today and we were seated promptly- we ordered and food came out a good time as well- attentive wait staff we got the pad kee mao, red curry, and Krapaw and it was amazing- the sauce on noodles was well distributed and tasted very robust, lots of basil used in each- which i love, we had level 4 spicy and we LOVE spicy and it definitely was but still enjoyable and tasty- will definitely be back!! read more

Saw they had Pad See Ew so decided to try. Not impressed, ordered to go. Quick service, friendly staff, nice atmosphere but food wasn't what I expected. I'm used to the thicker noodles and the flavor wasn't there, also too much oil was used. Might come back and try other menu items in the future though! read more

Ordered the Chiangmi Thai Noodle with chicken to be delivered. Had it not long ago at the restaurant, and it was delicious. However, instead of getting the dish like I had at the restaurant, they just dumped full, unskinned thigh and leg into the container, resulting in having to fish out the parts, remove the skins and cut the meat from bone myself. This is just lazy. Do better. Be better. read more

Nice inside and very fast courteous service. I ordered a fried tofu appetizer and Pad Thai with tofu and my companion had the coconut soup with tofu. It was delivered very fast. I was surprised how fast. My companion said the flavor was good but the mushrooms and shallots weren't really cooked in her soup. The fried tofu was good. There was so much of the Pad Thai I took some home for later. Fast healthy Thai cuisine. A bit too fast, let the soup and entrees cook a bit longer. . read more

The food is always on point. The service ? NOPE! June is our server again. We noticed that she never smiling, never engaging and seems to always be stoic and in a bad mood. We always eat here and every time she would be our server, she is that way with us. We see that she's not like that with others , why are you singling us out? We used to give a good tip the first ad the second time she waited on us. Tonight? She didn't even deserve the 5.00 tip I left on the table. The first time we said oh maybe she's just having a bad day, we ignored it, the second time , again? And tonight? I bet waiting is a tiring job but also now that if you are nice to your customers ( even if you are faking it ) it is automatic that you get. Good tip! Tonight's meal was good but zero to the service June gave us! Next time I eat there I will make sure she doesn't wait on us! read more

Lovely decor and atmosphere, attentive staff but very disappointed with the food I ordered for takeout today. I ordered fried egg rolls and chicken pad Thai. The sauce for the egg roles smelled so strongly of ginger? It was so strong that it resembled a chemical cleaner smell - I had to throw the sauce out because I just couldn't get past the smell. The most disappointing was that the chicken pad Thai had zero flavor. I only had a few bites and won't be finishing it. I feel like I wasted $23 :( read more

Their Tom yum soup is a consistent comfort meal. Excellent flavors and spice levels. As a lover of spicy food, I do not recommend going above level 3 spice unless you're familiar with Thai spicy! Kind staff. Looking forward to going back. read more

Ordered for pick up while in town- came highly recommended by family friend as the best Thai in town and I can see why! Even ordered as pick up, it was very prompt service and pick up time! Food was hot off the kitchen too! I got the red curry seafood combo with extra veggies- glad I got the extra veggies! It was phenomenal! Husband got the ducky curry and could not stop raving about it- apparently it is finger licking good! Spice scale is accurate so if you like spice, start at 'spicy' but I would be wary of anything spicer! Truly delightfully delicious read more

My husband was wanting Pad Thai so we decided to try this place. He ordered the Chicken Pad Thai with a 3 spicy. He said it was very good and spicy! I ordered the chicken fried rice, also with a 3 spicy. Yes! It was spicy! Very good overall and a large serving. I have enough for probably 2 more servings. I plan to add some scrambled eggs tomorrow because I really like them in the rice. I also ordered Edamame. I had to microwave it to finish cooking and add some salt, but it was excellent after that. Will definitely order from here again but try something different. read more

I haven't had Thai since I was in Manhattan a couple of years ago, but I made a beeline for this place when I realized it was in the same shopping center I work in and let me tell you, that was an AMAZING decision!! The curry was pretty good here but the pad see eu and pad kee mao were average. The noodles were drier than I preferred and the sauce was not as evenly distributed as they could have been. The Tom kha soup was delicious and the prices for everything were reasonably priced. I would definitely come here again! read more

Food and service are wonderful. I have nothing bad to say about the place except it gets a little busy sometimes I eat here three or four times a month. read more

Located in a little strip mall area in the middle of Tyler. A cute, bright, large flavor Thai restaurant that I can't complain about. I had Panang Curry and the family had beef and broccoli, children nuggets, dynamite roll and a Japanese bento box. My son thought his chicken was weird and refused to eat it however, I think the flavor profile was just a little more overpowering then he's use to. I liked the curry but, wouldn't order it again and the sushi roll took the cake as far as delicious. Perhaps too three favorite sushi rolls I've ever had. Service was very adequate, nice guy and attentive enough. Facility looked to be clean and orderly. Not a bad stop. read more

Wow. Ordered through door dash, NO plastic ware included. Didn't think I had to actually ORDER that too. So now we have food but no way to eat it. Will DEFINITELY not recommend this place. read more

Our experience here was less than impressive. The AC was out when we came but that didn't bother us much. We had already ordered the Crab rangoons for an app when we noticed they no longer serve sushi. We decided to leave and asked the waitress to get it to go since we were really looking to get sushi, she was very nice and understanding about it. The sweet and sour sauce was extremely watery and the rangoons were not good at all. read more

Wow!!!! This place has the worst service I've ever experienced. After 5-7 minutes I was greeted and sat at a table given a menu and tea. 10 minutes later a couple came in we're greeted their orders taken and still no one came to take my order.I waited for 10 more minutes, stood up and walked out the door, no one stopped me or asked me anything. I wish I could give this review negative 5 stars but it's not an option here. If you are a hungry man or woman you will starve to death here. The shopping center should cancel their lease so an actual restaurant can serve customers in their place. Do not eat here. read more

It's always been great service good food friendly service clean place to eat lunch or dinner with friends and family

We eat here often because it's the only decent Thai place that we have in the area. Unfortunately, the food is not consistent. Like I said, we eat here from lack of other options but it's super frustrating when I drive almost 20 minutes to pick up an item that is inedible. I guess beggars can't be choosers, the best and most consistent items on the menu are the Panang and Red curry everything else is a hit or miss. read more

Great Thai food, we loved the garlic fried rice and pad Thai. Level 2 spicy is the perfect amount of spicy.

Tom Yum Prawn is DELICIOUS I choose spice level 3 out of 5 and next time I'm tempted to choose a 4. The pineapple fried rice is my Dad's favorite. If you eat at the restaurant, this dish is presented inside half a pineapple! The presentation has a definite wow-factor and the flavor/taste is excellent as well. Pad Woo Sen with Seafood is a personal favorite. It's lighter than lo-mein and (for me) preferred over pad thai any day. The seafood version comes with scallops, fish, and squid. If you have someone who flat out doesn't like Thai, I would suggest the Garlic Fried Rice. My hubs is a picky eater and not a fan of Thai in the least. Garlic fried rice was a win as he ate his entire dish. The only qualm I have are the prices. Expect to pay at least $10-$15 per entree. Maybe I'm paying a premium for fresh ingredients and/or quality in food - which I don't mind. Just don't expect a cost conscious dinner. This spot is great for friends, family, date night, or a solo meal for one. read more

Friendly staff, though a little slow. The Tom Sum soup was very good; however, others may find it too spicy. My seafood curry was also very good, but the squid was so tough that I finally gave up on trying to eat it. Service was slowed while I was there due to a number of lunch time take out orders. read more

It bothers me that there are so many negative reviews here, I personally don't understand. I've eaten here probably 30 times, and I love it, I crave it and to me it's amazing. Pretty spicy though if your not a fan beware the red curry lol, but that's actually my personal fave. My kids love it, they get the teddy bear shaped chicken fried rice every time and the strawberry boba tea. I can understand the poor reviews for the service because I have had some instances where I've had to wait a bit, but that's far and few between, for the most part the the service is good, but I can honestly say the food has been good every time. No complaints from me at all read more

Our waitress was Melinda, she was friendly and attentive. We ordered edamame, which was salted and steamed to perfection. Their Crab Rangoon is more crab meat with a light cream cheese, which was enjoyable compared to other cuisines that go heavy on the cream cheese and light on the crab meat. My husband ordered the Prik Khing at a spice level of four. He kept commenting on how many different flavors there were and he really enjoyed his meal. The Chicken Chow Mein was wonderful, and I actually ate the broccoli because it was so tender. My daughter loved her Chicken Fried Rice, which I stole a bite of, and the rice was so tender and moist. We thoroughly enjoyed our first time eating Thai food and will be back! read more
