I've eaten here before perhaps during my last visit to town. The restaurant is very clean, service is attentive, and if you want you can watch the chefs prepare your meal...I like that. I arrived for lunch and the restaurant was very busy. I ordered the 3piece egg rolls appetizer, the stir fry Szechwan chicken, and a smart water. Then go find your table and wait...my meal came out quickly and smelled so good. My meal was hot, tasty, and filling...there was a lot of food...!!! I've never seen this restaurant name anywhere else so perhaps it is someone's dream business, not a chain, but a family small business...I don't know. But they are doing everything correctly, nice atmosphere, prompt service, very tasty food, and all at an agreeable price. I'll be back, I hope to see you here. read more

Meh. So my original review was 4 stars... today was a 1 star day, but maybe that's what I get for trying something different than my usual. Sushi- I ordered the roll with eel... eel is my favorite. The eel was so thinly sliced, it was almost nonexistent-- not even on every piece, leaving me with an overpriced crab and cucumber roll with lots of sauce... it was okay... when the eel was eaten alone, it was a little grainy and not flavorful, I realized I was grateful for all the sauce. Spring rolls- I was grateful they changed the chicken to shrimp, but I was expecting some flavor? No basil? Pad Thai was bland and not well put together... not sure what happened, but it looks like they forgot about the egg. Overall, I was disappointed. read more

Tasteless meal.. don't bother the general tso's was completely tasteless.. no seasoning flavorless clumps on a plate with equally tasteless steamed rice ... you are better to keep on driving than to stop at this out of the way restaurant .. you'll get a better meal at a gas station... So save your tastebuds for something different you'll thank me later! read more

Torn between three and four stars but their food is very very fresh and mostly good. I normally get Pad Thai, which would be perfect except they don't use stirfry tofu, they use uncooked bean curd which is white and mushy, and since they don't soak it in the sauce before hand, tasteless. My husband gets Hunan stirfry and likes it, his quote is "it's OK just too salty." We both really love their vegetarian spring rolls. But if you're vegan or vegetarian be sure to tell them that you want them to be vegetarian otherwise they will put some animal protein in there. Seems a little overpriced, but since it's the only available Thai food for miles it's worth it. read more

Very tasty food. The best for my family because my wife will not eat hot or spicy dishes. My daughter likes sushi and thai food. I like Japanese tempura and Thai. We all get what we want without going to different restaurants. Price is reasonable too. read more

Sorry, went there for lunch on a friday and it was a bit busy but quite a number that came in after me were served first. Can understand that different menu items require different times to prepare but when you see those coming after you getting meals like you ordered served before you makes you wonder about your order. Finally I noticed the two cashiers look over at me and discussed something and one cashier handed a ticket to the cook and in a couple minutes I had my meal. The food was good but not the service. Amazing little Asian Kitchen surprise in Athens Texas. The restaurant is super clean, great service, and a very friendly Chef whose always smiling. Food tasted good and service was good, but I guess IMO, I can get the same at any Chinese buffet. The main dish was good. I had Hunan Stir Fry with steamed rice. I received my appetizer, spring rolls, after I received my main dish and then I had to wait for the peanut sauce. I did not like the spring rolls and the peanut sauce tasted like heated peanut butter. I expected it to taste better especially since they were $4.99. I thought everything was too pricey and the tables were way too close to each other. This will not be one of our regular spots. read more

When I first glanced at the menu, I didn't notice many vegetarian-friendly items. But it helps to ask them about it, as many dishes can be ordered meatless. I got the vegetable tempura, which was good, but just 4 fried veggies & some dipping (soy?) sauce, which wasn't filling, just a nice appetizer. Later I went back & ordered meatless cashew stir-fry & some veggie sushi, which were both excellent & satisfying to the point that I needed a to-go box. Their napkins are small & flimsy, but they have plenty of them! They also have plenty of seating room for dining in. I still haven't seen the restroom facilities, but I hope to come back to this place, since they may be changing the look of their menu. The food was excellent! read more

My daughter got her plate, then other customers got a plate, then my other daughter got her plate, then other customers that came after us got their plates, then my wife got her plate, after 15 more minutes of waiting mine was never cooked and our California rolls never made. I understand mistakes are made but this owner which is the cook never acknowledge me, never said sorry or anything! He does not know how to run a restaurant.....he was serving everyone in the restaurant out of order....half of families were eating for 15 min while the other family members twiddled their thumbs. I wanted a nice night out with family and He Never Even Said Sorry or looked at me! I work too hard for my money to give it to someone that does not respect the people paying his bills. Also, all madness aside, the food is no better than the buffet down the street with a wider selection. We will not be back! I guess I know now, why there is hardly anyone ever in there.
