This place is not good at all.. we got seated right away but it took 10 min for the server to come to us. I order the house combo pho and it was not good at all. The soup has this weird taste that in all my years of eating pho I never taste this weird soup in other restaurant. The noodles was really hard. My sister ordered the charbroiled beef rice vermicelli which she kept complaining that the fish sauce and beef was overly salty. My boyfriend ordered the charbroiled beef over rice and it was such a disappointment. As you see the picture I posted it looked more like teriyaki sauce with beef like Hawaiian bbq instead of Vietnamese style. Everything was overly salted. My cousin ordered the stir fried beef with lemon grass rice vermicelli. He wanted to substitute beef to chicken and they literally told him it would be a 2.00$ upgrade which is ridiculous considering their stuff is overpriced for Vietnamese food. I understand if they need to charge 2$ upgrade from chicken to beef but my cousin wanted chicken and it's way cheaper then beef and they still want 2$ more?!? So my wife and I went to pHO HA Plus. We have been there 30 or 40 times so far last time we went there was 6 months quality of food was great. One problem I had was the price almost doubled for everything a large bowl of PHO $17 and the bone marrow soup also $17. I have to admit I didn't try the pho here because I couldn't find the price for just a plain noodle pho option. When I was looking at the menu, though, I was shocked by the prices. Bo luc lac for $16.95? Was it real filet mignon? That's almost double the price of that dish from places in the San Gabriel Valley. Pho for over $10 a bowl? That's higher than Santa Barbara prices in a college town (not cheap, if anyone expected that) and definitely higher than places I've been to in the SGV. In the end, I ordered their vermicelli with pork and egg roll (#44) along with a tri-colored drink. For some reason I thought it was a dish with egg rolls filled with pork, but it was a dish with egg rolls and slices of pork. It was okay, like most other places I've tried. Not bad, not amazing, pretty decent. Their tri-colored drink was pretty good, but a bit too sweet for me. Overall, I don't think their food is amazing, so I really didn't think the prices were justified. Then again, maybe food tends to be more expensive in this area. One of my favorite places to go for the vermicelli patties and the shrimp paste wrapped tofu. The portions are Normally pretty decent and the flavors are on point. Today's miss was the crispy noodle. We ordered it with shrimp and chicken. Specifically asked for NO squid because my 4 year old is allergic to it. When it came out and I portioned him his share of noodles, I saw pieces of squid in it. Thank goodness he didn't take any bites yet. The texture of the noodles is weirdly spongy and there was more veggies than anything. We ended up canceling the dish since it took a while to make it the first time and we were already almost done with our meal. He ended up sharing some of my bbq pork. My husband's order of egg rolls with shrimp paste was extremely small for the $13 price tag. Could've probably added another egg roll or something. read more

So I have to admit I was actually very disappointed when I came to this restaurant they've been in this location for a few months and I've always been very excited to go there and try them out but then when I did as soon as I walked in the door I started getting a very bad feeling First of all a guy that I think he escaped from Russia he greeted us at the door with a very heavy foreign Russian sounding accent and they basically rushed us to a table which I didn't really like but then they ran away The next thing they did was try to rushes into ordering some kind of drink so we ordered hot tea and ice water and told him to come back in a few minutes we could order our dinner We ordered the beef stew soup as well as the brisket flank steak and tripe soup as well as ordering the shrimp spring rolls and the chicken sandwich in total everything cost $39 that included a small tip First of all the sauce that came with the shrimp spring rolls was very tasteless and it didn't really taste like Vietnamese style sauce it had no taste was very Bland I actually had to add salt to it just to give it some sort of flavor and they wrapped some flank me inside the spring roll which is very tough it was almost like trying to bite through leather The beef stew soup was I guess pretty okay but when it came to the brisket soup which should be their Flagship soup I mean this is what all Vietnamese restaurants are based is there brisket soup The brisket soup was just horrible the meat was undercooked and the worst part about it was that the tribe was very undercooked it was practically raw it was so hard and chewy it was just horrible. Then the waitress Broad St check and we never had a consistent waiter or waitress it was always some different face showing up at our table they gave us absolutely no feeling of warmth or any feeling like being welcomed it just feel like we are being rushed like they just wanted a pump food into us and get the hell out Then after that it took about 20 minutes for them to pick up the check and get it paid so we then asked for some to-go boxes for the soup and the waiter which was yet a 5th different waiter, seems like he was offended that we asked him to do a little bit of extra work Also the restaurant has got music playing way too loud and it's not even ethnically relevant to the ethnicity of the Vietnamese lifestyler culture they're playing a lot of gangster rap and techno music in there really feel like you were more in a nightclub and you were expecting people to get up and start dancing any minute and a DJ was going to come out rather than a nice quiet Vietnamese Ambiance restaurant did not have any Vietnamese Ambiance whatsoever. The food really had none of that fragrance of Vietnamese style food so they just really don't deserve any stars more than one star and I think one star is even generous I really don't recommend this restaurant and I certainly will not be going there again if I do eat in the same area I'm going to go to a place called Saigon Noodle at least their food taste good read more

Pho Ha Plus is quite modern inside and has a sports bar vibe to it. They have indoor as well as outdoor seating available, but when we asked if we could sit outside, we were told they were short staffed and could not accommodate our request. Besides this uncomfortable situation, everything else was a positive experience. The employees are very well trained and polite towards the customers. Their prices on the menu are higher than most other places, however, they do give very large portions with their Beef Noodle Soup / Pho Soup Noodles (around $13 for the large #1 bowl)! They have wall mounted TVs throughout their restaurant and are typically showing various sporting events, so some customers would hang out here for hours instead of just eat-n-go! read more

First time writing a review and wish I can give 0. Came here around 7:30pm on Sunday night, and there were other 2 parties came at the same time. We all wrote our name on the wait list and waiting for almost 30 mins but still had no waiters or waitresses lead us to have a seat. There were several (at least 4 to 5) unclean table but seemed like no one wanted to clean them and welcome the unseated customers. I understand you may busy, but hello, 2 to 3 waitress prepared the drinks and talked but no one willing to clean them? I saw one waitress was trying to clean the table, but then she went to somewhere else in the middle and didn't finish the cleaning. Was gonna say how much i love this place but the service has gone down the drain to be honest and I am not the type of person to ever complain or say things about a restaurant. The food is top quality to me but the customer service no. We walked in no greeting or care for who comes in or out. No one paid any mind to us when we entered had us standing there waiting so we just decided to leave. Management needs to hire more or just train the staff better, employees learn from the leaders so the energy you give to customers the staff with follow. There are a couple of things we look for in our pho and they've all checked out! Hot soup Meat portions Cleanliness Good customer service Flat noodles I love how they have flat noodles as an option!! I've been disappointed by several pho restaurants that don't have flat noodles lol. There was one issue (-1 star) that I had which is the hair on the tendon. They said the hair grows naturally in the tendon so you might see some white, gray, or black hairs. I'm not sure how legit it is. I've tried googling but I couldn't really find anything aside from reviews of other pho places having hairs in the tendon. If you do find hair in your tendon, they offer a replacement dish. We ate at this place today. They have a signing sheet to check in and a signs that reads wait to be seated, but no one is manning them. I have to get someone's attention to get a table. They are lacking staff , the restaurant is quite big enough ,and they have lots of table available. The food...the pho tai the juice from the soup is not greasy but lacking taste, and the slice beef is not tender. The filet mignon is tender but greasy gravy. The price is quite in a high end for the type of food they serve. The person who served us was a middle age man who was really nice and kind. Before he served us, a much younger man came to take our order, he seemed to have an attitude and in a hurry. Not a people person! I'll stick to the restaurant I usually go to for this type of food. Every time I go here at dinner time, the noodles are over cooked and the soup is always cold. Also, the red meats in the pho didn't cook properly because the soup was too cold. The quality of the pho is so much better at lunch time than dinner. I don't mind waiting a long time to get my food. I would not be coming here back at night time ever again. With all of this cold weather, pho is definitely one of my fav spots to go to. This restaurant is HUGE but it took a good couple of minutes to get greeted then seated. I think it's a nice change of environment from other pho spots because there are TVs EVERYWHERE! Food -rare steak, flap meat and tendon: it was average. The soup tasted like your average pho, which isn't bad, but it didn't really hit the spot... 3/5 -egg rolls look extremely appetizing from the yelp posts so, of course, i ordered it. And it was just okay. Sad day 2/5 -rice vermicelli pork and egg roll was AMAZING! Diamond Bar has a new pho restaurant in play and it is called Pho Ha Plus. I have wanted to try his place since it has opened but every time I pass by this spot there are a gang load of people waiting outside for dinner. I waited for a few months and then as I pass by this place I wanted to try it out and see what this spot had to offer. They sell Vietnamese style food such as pho and some different rice plates with your selection of meats. The interior is new and modern and plenty of choices for what you want to eat. I have been here twice and tried pho one one and the other time a variety meat plate where you make your own wrap with lettuce and whatever else you want to put in it. Overall I have to say I do enjoy how clean this place is and the food is served hot and fresh! If your craving a bowl of pho check this spot out and give it a try. read more

Since I started coming here a few years ago, the food has been pretty consistent. My go to order is their Vermicelli bowl, which I find to be very refreshing, and a good balance with greens, noodles and proteins (topping it off with the eggrolls too). Spring rolls are fresh, and with a little bit of chilli oil with the peanut sauce makes a great savory roll. During quarantine they serve solid dishes, vermicelli bowls are still as good as I remember. Although for soups my friends and I made a mistake not bringing bigger bowls to accommodate for pho. Despite the mishap on our end it didn't take away from enjoying their dishes. Specially during the winter and the cold weather sits in, Pho makes a solid comfort meal for the cold nights. read more

Ive been here twice and each time was great. Not too sure on how long they've been open but on I came here with my family on a Saturday around one-ish and it was quite packed. Since we had such a large group, we got seated in this room and it was nice because it felt private. Our waiter was very attentive and super nice and had tons of patience since it was quite hectic. First time around I got the Pho Thai Chin large and OMG IT REALLY IS LARGE lol but I killed it. It was so good, the broth, the noodles, the meats - everything was great. Second time I went, it was a i wanted to try something new but my heart knew what it wanted and Pho Thai Chin was what I got once again. My boyfriend got the combination fried rice and he really enjoyed it. He said it tasted homemade and reminded him of my mom's cooking.
