You know the food is going to be good if there are only Vietnamese people in the restaurant. The bowl is a generous serving of delicious! They serve the Pho with all the condiments and there was enough to take back to our room for breakfast. The service was good and ambience was simple but nice. I would definitely go there again. read more

I came on Valentine Day and ordered one large bowl. It tasted good and the soup was delicious and the main reason the pho was good. The service was not slow even though it looked like short staffed on holidays but it was still very good. I will come back next time and check other different items. read more

My wife and I have been coming here for a few years to us this place has the best Pho in the area The service is unbelievable know that they have a new manager in place the entire crew was extremely attentive all I have to say is 5 stars all the way read more

Came in on a Friday around 1pm for lunch. It was actually not too busy, but with limited servers, the wait was still quite long. We ordered two of the #7 pho, which comes with rare beef and tendon. For drinks, we got the Passion Fruit Drink and their Vietnamese Coffee. Our pho actually took quite some time to come out. A party that was seated and ordered after us got their food before us. Our pho broth was nice and flavorful, the noodles were not overly mushy or chewy. The meat was fresh and the tendon was a great addition of texture! The coffee was super strong. It definitely had a higher concentration of coffee than I'm use to, but then again I'm not much of a coffee person. It was sweet still, but the coffee overpowered everything. The passion drink was also very concentrated. You could taste the sweet syrup, but also it gets cut by the tartness from the tajin in the drink. It came out room temperature and took a while to get cold, so not sure if I would get it again. This was my first time eating in the restaurant since I'm usually use to ordering takeout, but I think I will stick to ordering to-go. There was nothing wrong with the pho itself, however I think the service could improve a bit. Also as a warning, if you do order takeout, even if they tell you it will be ready in 20 minutes, add an additional 10 minutes because the last few times I ordered and arrived at the restaurant, they didn't even prepare it yet. read more

Pho Ha Plus is the extension of Pho Ha in Rowland. We usually buy it to go, but my friend and I decided to stop by one day to eat in. We both ordered number 1, which is their combo. We noticed a layer of oil on top when we got our food. When I get it to go, it's never that oily. This may be the first time in history where getting it to go actually tastes better! Because of all that oil, it was a bit hard to enjoy. We also got spring rolls, which were pretty good. I would give 3 stars for the dine-in experience, but every time I get it to go, it's always been better. read more

They sat us down but we never had the opportunity to try the food ,we were ignored for almost half an hour!!!! We just left!!!! If you're Hispanic I definitely DON'T recommend this place!!!! Pho Ha plus Vietnamese Cuisine - Pork Chops with rice - Vietnamese Near Me - Diamond Bar, California

A few days ago, I had a meeting here with my associates and ordered a Vietnamese style pork chop, broken rice, and Vietnamese meatloaf. The portion came out smaller than I expected for $20. As well, the food was not as good as I expected; the pork chop at my place did not even qualify as a pork chop. In fact, it was barbecue pork instead, and the food was served very slowly. Additionally, all the individuals who work there do not even speak Vietnamese, which made the service a bit unfriendly. The reputation of the franchise has been tarnished by this Pho Ha. As far as Vietnamese food is concerned, this establishment would not be my first choice unless there are no other options available in the vicinity. read more

Had to wait to get my kids orders (Combo fried rice and sandwich) for more than 45 minutes. And the finally the waitress brought the fried rice order and gave the altitude when i mentioned taking too long. Worst customer service. Fried rice is too salty. Not enough servers. taking too long to get order. only good thing is our original waiter is very polite and kept apologize for being taking too long for the order. will not come back again. read more

Pho Ha Plus has always been our family's go-to pho place. Honestly a bit surprised at the overall star rating because compared to other pho places that we've gone to, we've always felt that the quality of the broth and food here overall is evidently so much better. I've been putting everyone around me on their spring rolls with pork and shrimp because it's AMAZING. I need to know what skin they use to for these rolls because it's thick and chewy while the spring rolls I've had at other pho places use some kind of standard skin that's thin and is just mediocre. This had that chewy thick texture and it was so good. The pork doesn't have that smell that it gets when it's left out so it tasted super clean and the peanut sauce came out warmed and steaming. Other pho places have spring rolls that are just whatevers and kind of bland and the peanut sauce is cold, but the way they make these here is just so much better. I would honestly just come here to get these spring rolls and a side of broth for a solid meal if I'm not feeling noodles. read more

Came here today with some of my coworkers. Pleasantly surprised by how spacious the place looks from the outside and inside, never saw a pho place this huge! Food was well-portioned and sized, worth how much you're paying. Meat wasn't too juicy/good but I think the ambiance really helps offset the pho. Pho isn't bad but I've had better pho in the 626 area. Service was okay, our group of 10 ended up waiting around 20 minutes until we got seated. read more

Came here recommended by my viet friend. Seat yourself and scan QR menu to pay and order. Food took about 15 mins. Soup came out before egg rolls. Soup is glistening and delicious. Only thing that threw off for me was the last time I came here they were closing so the time of operation hours are wrong and need to be updated and I wish they had lime instead of lemon I know it's a picky detail but it makes the difference in soup IMO. LOVE the fried spring rolls. Comes with lettuce cucumber mint and pickled vegetables. My boyfriend and I will return for sure :) read more

Cheap old people like me like good deals on food. We want lots of food for little money. I've been here before and was never impressed. But, I decided to retry Pho Ha Plus because the other pho joints in Diamond Bar either were closed, or had too long of a wait for take out. While ordering on the phone, I never asked for the price. So, it was a shock when I got there and they told me that my 2 bowls of pho would cost $30. $30! Each bowl was about $13 plus tax. Almost double what the other places around Diamond Bar are charging, unless they too have raised their prices recently. The pho itself was good. They give a generous amount of noodles and meat. The soup had a good flavor. I almost couldn't finish it. It was one of the best in Diamond Bar. But, $30 for 2 bowls? That's a little out of the price range for cheap old guy like me. The rich young millennials can come here. 4 star for food, but, the price.... read more

Place was decent. Service was good. The pho broth was not rich though, more on the bland side. Overall my family and I would come back.

I was there a few weeks ago with a friend. The food is ok not good not bad but when I got the bill. $50 for two bowls of noodles and a drink. I know everything is expensive but.... I ordered the tripes and Tender. 3 pcs of small tripes and 4 pcs of tendon in bite sz. . It's way over priced. Sorry I can't afford your high price and small portions. read more

Alyssa is an AMAZING, ATTENTIVE, AND AWSOME server at this restaurant. She is amazing and makes sure that everything is taken care of!!

Foods no flavor and too expensive for soups and stir fry. Service is terrible, the server never comes by to ask if we need anything we have to flag them down. And worse they want 18% tips. Not coming back! read more

VERY BAD SERVICE After we sat down, took 15 mins before a server finally gave us menu and water. Food was okay. After we finished all the food, literally sat there for another 30mins and no one came with the check. So I called for a server, and the guy literally hit me with a "‍ no I'm off" then just walked off, didn't even bother calling another server to help us. We waited for another 10mins before someone finally came to assist. And it wasn't just us, many other tables were just sitting there with empty plates waiting for their checks. Really horrible service, do not recommend read more

Setting: Large sit down Vietnamese restaurant in Diamond bar. There is plenty of seating. It's clean and quite comfortable with plenty of parking around. Food: The pork vermicelli with egg roll was amazing. One of the best I've had. However the pho itself was a little disappointing. Meat quality was good but the soup was just OK. Value: I was surprised at how expensive everything was, even during this time of inflation. I never expected to pay $17 for pho but here we are. Thankfully the portions are quite large. Service: The servers were quite attentive and kind. No issues with timeliness of taking our order or the food coming out. Other: Our close friend's love this place and it's their favorite pho restaurant in the area. The vermicelli was definitely good but wouldn't necessarily come here for pho. read more

Came on a sunday night for father's day and we got seated immediately. There weren't many people, but I would say a little more than half of the restaurant was full. The food is more expensive than the original Pho Ha down in Rowland heights, but the ambience is definitely better. The meat quality for their dishes is more tender and so is the meat quantity. So if you like Pho Ha and want something a little fancier and meatier I'd recommend checking them out. I didn't really notice the difference in the veggie pho or the spring rolls, but the biggest difference was on the chicken pho. The service at both places are about the same. Not very attentive, but they are not rude. read more

I used to come at least once a week on my lunch breaks! I love their soup, I definitely think theyre one of the best spots in the area. Inside, it's spacious, and it's always really clean, which is pretty uncommon for pho places around this area. They're located in a great spot too, across a supermarket and in the corner of the plaza. Service is pretty good. Their servers are attentive and move quickly. My only complaint is that with the to-go ordering now (because of the pandemic), they only offer their soups in Large sizes, but give way too little soup. The noodle to soup ratio is definitely off! I just get extra soup now. read more

I lunched here the other day and it's kinda expensive for what it was. I ordered a #6 which is tai nam (slices of eye round steak + flank) which was $9.75 for a large bowl. My friend and I also added on 6 pieces of meatballs ($3.95). Don't be fooled by the number 6 because you virtually just get pieces of meatballs. The broth could have stood for another skimming off the top to make it less fatty/greasy. The pho flavor was not quite there. It satiated my craving, but I don't think I'll coming back any time soon. read more

I ordered take out. Seriously good pho I must say. Their charbroiled bbq pork was amazing. I think they use shitake mushrooms in their veggie pho.... and I'm allergic lol I guess I should've asked. Authentic Pho restaurant with new management. I visited pho HA today and had a Pho for the lunch. There was a beautiful lady took my order. After finishing my lunch, she came to me asked for sample of new coffee, and I tried it. I gave her my honest review and she explained about new menu, new management. She introduced herself as new manager. The food is decent here (large bowl of pho for $17) but our waiter was absolutely terrible! Our server, the one with the dyed white hair, was completely rude and absolutely disrespectful. He pretty much threw our food on the table and refused to help us throughout the meal. This has been a terrible experience and I will not be returning nor recommending this restaurant. read more

$$$$$ Took my wife here for the very last time and never coming back again. F their service and ridiculous pricing! We ordered 2 order of Pho Combination large $32, asked for meat on the side(not inside my noodle), one order of 4pcs egg roll($14) for my 3 years old daughter. 2 cold French coffee $12. The waiter didn't put our meat on the side, I just thought we let it go, then the waiter brought us extra order of rare meat, after I'm done with my bowl of pho....... My soup was already cold....., so I asked for extra bowl of hot soup(to cook my raw meat), when the recipe came, the extra meat was $7.50, and the extra small ass bowl of soup that wasn't even hot was $2.50...... $10 extra for the mistake they made I have to pay for(normally extra soup are free from everywhere else, it's a f*bowl of soup) I get inflation and price gone up, but this is ridiculous as customer service and pricing. Total of $75 for two adults and a child..... , good luck staying in business. Your Pho isn't even that special to begin with.... read more
