I've been here twice now and will probably keep coming back just for their house special xi quach. The first time I ordered the xi quach and a large bowl of pho for my wife and I. We weren't very hungry and thought to share one bowl and I love bone in meat so I opted to get the xi quach ($17) instead of any appetizer. It is expensive, but for the portion size it is definitely worth it in my opinion. The meat is very flavorful, juicy, tastes just strongly of the pho broth. I ate the bones like a caveman at the table and still had to take home a few which was enough meat for two more bowls of noodles. They gave a big aluminum takeaway pan for me to take it home. The second time I came I didn't get the xi quach as I came with a friend and didn't want to gnaw on bones like that lol I only ordered a pho and left regretting it. The pho broth tasted a lot better my first visit for some reason making me think this place may have consistency issues. They also have Hanh dam (vinegar onions) and nuoc beo (fatty broth) you can add in to your pho if you like that. Both are great. I'll be back to keep supporting Vietnamese restaurants in the area so I don't have to go down to Orange County for a good bowl of pho! read more

Lots of parking and a ramp for ADA guests, I thought was very thoughtful. it was very easy to find, with a huge sign, and it was at the corner of the light. This place was spacious and had lots of seating, and the service was good. We were greeted and seated right as we walked in. There were many menu items, but I came for the pho and .. As a girl who grew up in Little Saigon, I'm pretty picky with my pho broth, and let me tell you... they have very good broth and large portions! I couldn't believe the amount of meat on the xi quach/beef bones. I ordered their salted plum drink which usually comes with soda/perrier/club soda, but it came out flat. I think they used Sprite as their soda, which isn't common, so I wouldn't order this again, but I look forward to coming back and trying their other drinks! The price is a little on the higher side, but it was well worth it. When i'm in the area and craving pho, I have to stop here. My favorite is their rare steak and fatty brisket. I usually order a regular size and there is a good portion of protein compared to noodles. I never run out of meat here. The servers are friendly and food is delivered efficiently. Came on a Monday at about 1 PM, and the place was almost 3/4 full. I had the beef stew noodles. The broth was rich and not too tomatoey. The beef was not undercooked and tender. We also had the regular pho which was tasty. Also ordered the tendon on bone which was huge. Pho portions are generous. This is my go to pho place when I'm in the area. Our server, Martin, was helpful and beyond accommodating to our group and really ensured we had everything we needed. He checked on us often and went above and beyond to ensure we had a good experience. If you're looking to come with a large crowd, I recommend reserving the private room. I had the Spring Rolls ($6.50), Charbroiled Pork Ball Rolls ($7.25) and the Charbroiled Pork and Bean Curd Shrimp Paste ($13.45). I preferred the Charbroiled Pork Rolls over the Spring Rolls as they were more flavorful, but both rolls were just decent, nothing special. Absolutely terrible. Food isn't the strongest which their service was the worse. Food portions don't justify for their prices but the restaurant is comfortable to sit-in for longer hour(s). I understand nowadays many restaurants use an ipad for payment, but as I would like to check the receipt, the server basically swings the ipad between my friend and I. Who the hells does that? And starts mocking my language as I was speaking to a friend. I decided to pay in cash and returned some changes and a receipt that's wet handed to me without a tray. For reals.. what's wrong with your services? And not forgetting to mention that throughout the meal when we are waving they pretend not to see us and they weren't busy at all. It was the perfect rainy day for a delicious pho dinner. I had the regular #11 which has round eye steak. They generously served up all the toppings like bean sprouts, Thai basil, lime, and jalapeños. My dad had a prom banh mi which was delicious as well. This is more like a 3.5 stars but I rounded down due to that fact that the soup was extremely oily! I'm on a low carb diet but was craving something warm on a cold day. Happy to learn that they sell only broth but was a bit disappointed that I had to filter out about a whole half inch worth of oil on top of the soup. Pho Ha Plus has always been our family's go-to pho place. Honestly a bit surprised at the overall star rating because compared to other pho places that we've gone to, we've always felt that the quality of the broth and food here overall is evidently so much better. I've been putting everyone around me on their spring rolls with pork and shrimp because it's AMAZING. I need to know what skin they use to for these rolls because it's thick and chewy while the spring rolls I've had at other pho places use some kind of standard skin that's thin and is just mediocre. This had that chewy thick texture and it was so good. The pork doesn't have that smell that it gets when it's left out so it tasted super clean and the peanut sauce came out warmed and steaming. Other pho places have spring rolls that are just whatevers and kind of bland and the peanut sauce is cold, but the way they make these here is just so much better. I would honestly just come here to get these spring rolls and a side of broth for a solid meal if I'm not feeling noodles. read more
