The closest Vietnamese place to Little Saigon in Westmister that you can get to, yet with a trendy twist. This place has very good, authentic vietnamese and I really enjoy coming here. I stopped here with a grumpy 3 year old, and even though it was a bunch of college age guys running things, I couldn't be happier with the service. They really worked quickly to get my "to go" order ready, even though I said i was going to eat some before I left. I was probably the worst customer of the night, with my wild cranky kid with me. They can't handle being busy. Please double check your receipt. I got up charged for the item I ordered and I did not even receive an apology from the cashier lady. Once you step into Pho Ha, the decor brings the place alive. It gives you the impression that the food will be good or at least half decent. I ordered the Pho and the soup was pretty bland. It's not full of flavor, but can be helped with the sides of hoisin and sriracha sauces. The meat quality, however, is quiet good! I would rate this place a 3 (average) in terms of the food. This place is excellent I have eaten pho just about all over California and on the East coast. The veggie pho is amazing! And I don't eat a lot of meat but the BBQ BEEF is to die for. Thinly sliced meat with no fatty parts! I know it's not for everyone but that's how I like my meat. Also egg rolls are bomb! I have definitely went to better places. The pho was alright but everything was terrible. The water took them 20 minutes to bring out and the pho took 10 minutes. I ordered a bhan mi and the bread wasn't crunchy and low amount of cilantro and veggies. At the end of the meal she asked are you missing anything? Very unprofessional and terribly done. Probably the most decent pho in Fullerton/brea area. It's just a tad more expensive compared to Westminster but again this is Brea. Hits the spot when you have that pho carving. I don't really like the rice dishes so I mainly just go for the pho diet bac or egg noodles stew with beef. read more

I absolutely love the food here. The only reason why I didn't give it 5 stars was because of the service. Their service is horrible. We would sit down and wait 20min and then I had to go up to them and actually ask for the to take our order. I always order water and I have never had to ask 3 different employees just to get my cup of water (this process took another 20min). They never come back to ask how we're doing and everytime we would ask for something, they'd forget which means I was asking another employee. I don't know much about Pho, but I do enjoy eating at this place. It is reasonable priced, but I am sure you could find cheaper in other areas. But it is Brea, so it is appropriate for the place. I like to order the vermicelli with the pork. The pork has a lot of flavor, and it comes with bunch of greens. Their egg rolls are really good too. I always order one with my vermicelli. Just...meh. If you are looking for Vietnamese food that is quick and close by in the Brea area I would recommend Pho 99 before Pho Ha. There was just something about their egg noodle/vegetable/tofu entree that was off-putting to me, something didn't taste right. I did not feel well the entire evening after I ate it. So I was craving some Pho and this was the closest place to work. This place has been here for awhile now but I never tried it. So I decided to give this place a try. I came here for lunch and the place was pretty empty. I got seated right away just like any pho place. This place is like your any regular pho place but a little bit more pricy. I'm sure its because its in the city of Brea! Well I order their #1 and ice coffee. You can never go wrong with that choice even if its a hot summer day. The order came out right away. Everything was to my liking however if you love pho the way that I do. I like my soup with a more flavorful broth. I thought the broth here was water down and didn't have much of a tasting. The portion was huge of course and they gave me extra lime. The coffee was strong which i like cause a lot of places the ice coffee isn't strong especially when you don't actually drip it yourself. So I was surprised when I didn't have to wait for it to drip and still to my liking. I dont know if I would say I would come here for pho again. Maybe if i'm in the area and crave it. Good prices and the service is better than a lot of pho places I've been to in Los Angeles and Orange County. The egg rolls and the desert drinks are delicious. The pho is a little salty but excessive... Most pho is salty anyway. when I've ordered take out they are super quick usually about 10 minutes or less. I would recommend for causal eating read more
