Our new favorite place. Pics are from when we ate at the restaurant and from togo through DoorDash. My husband (my trang ) has always loved bun cha ha noi. He calls it "village food." We do a lot of take outs and stumbled on this place through DoorDash. So good at home... but did not want to do dishes so we dragged our two toddlers with us. As a mom to young kiddos, I appreciate how clean and spacious this restaurant is. Our friends came with us- we had a double stroller and a wagon. We were all able to fit at one of their bigger tables. The owner even helped us get situated. Apparently they just remodeled and started to serve food during the day. I ordered the bun rieu, and it came out piping hot. They gave us a generous platter of fresh herbs and vegetables. The broth was rich and flavorful. Everything tasted fresh and authentic. My husband ordered bun cha ha noi of course... he had two.... Good thing it's only around $15 for each meal! Tip: If you can't find parking in front, there are plenty behind the restaurant. If you have kids and are okay with some screen time, you can ask staff for a remote to one of their many TVs. Felt like a win being able to eat a hot meal! We will definitely be back! read more

Not a Pho noodle place but is more of a hangout vibey restaurant with a karaoke machine and lots of TVs. Came during lunch time and they had a smaller menu than dinner. Parking: limited and tight spaces, but to be expected on Bolsa. Service was really fast. Here's what we ordered: Bo kho- 7/10, thought it was really yummy and solid soup flavor. Some meat chunks were chewy and some were tender, and some were fatty but it was overall tasty. Would get this again if I come back. Bun cha ha noi 6/10- veggies were generous and meat was not too tough. Not bad! Bun rieu and bun bo hue 4/10- broth needs more flavor but if you like less salt and a cleaner taste, you may enjoy this more. All in all, this place may be worth coming at night just to hang out and have some small eats, but if you're coming for the food, there are many other tastier options nearby. Omg this place is sooo good. We were waiting to get a massage and decided to eat here. I ordered the bun cha, and my sister and mom ordered bun rieu and bun Bo hue. If you go at night, they have a different menu. The owner is so sweet. She gave us extra noodles to go. They were generous with the vegetables and their plates were brand new. Ambience is uh a different kind of vibe. Food is pretty decent and edible. Staff is all women so I do love the women empowerment. This place uses their workers to pressure sale their customers. The waitresses sit down and get you to buy them food. Usually its a couple of dishes. Then whenever you're about a quarter done with your beer, they automatically pop open a new bottle of beer without even asking you if you need another. Of course, they know no one wants to look bad so ppl accept it. End of the night they know we are drunk and the beer count and food dishes ordered are always wrong. The servers are pretty friendly and gave me good suggestions from the menu. They checked up on us often. Although girls aren't usually found in these kind of establishments, I felt completely comfortable here. It helps that they are decently dress. Food was okay but a but pricey but cheap beers make it a little better. It was only 3 of us and wish there was more people that night so I can try out more food lol. All of which is good. Beer food is usually spicy and sour. It enhances your taste bud and make you drink. If you are into or interested in trying exotic Vietnamese foods, then this is the place. I've come here a few times ocasionally and find that they have almost everything on the menu that is good to excellent. The ones that stand out from the menu: diced fillet mignon (bo luc lac) served on a bed of letuce, grilled spicy salted chicken (ga nuong muoi ot) is a must have. If you are on a healthy side then there are steamed seabass (ca hanh hap) with mushroom, green onions, chinese noodle, with oyster sauce. This is one special dish that no where else would have or could make it the same. The grilled rack of lamb marrinated in tofu sauce is very interesting. The customer service is considered to be better than other places that I've been to. They are very sweet and friendly. The best part is that happy hour is all day long here!
