Ordered the pho special and the grilled pork and shrimp plate through doordash. The cost (~12 each) is a great deal considering how much Vietnamese food typically goes for in the bay. Also pretty good as far as the food quality goes! They provide plenty of nuoc cham sauce with their grilled pork chop plate, and their pho broth is distinctly sweet. There aren't many good Vietnamese food spots in the bay, so places like this definitely need to stay around. read more

This restaurant in a Pinole strip mall had the unfortunate timing of opening one week after the pandemic lock down begun, so we are glad to have patronize this business as soon as in-door dining was allowed. We have eaten here twice in the past year. Their pho and rice dishes are really good, and the portions generous so you feel like you are getting a lot for your money. Our favorite dishes are the mango papaya shrimp salad, short ribs over rice, shaking beef over rice or noodle, pork chop or grilled pork over rice, and of course, the pho dishes. My wife who is Vietnamnese born, is an aficionado of bun bo hue, a spicy beef noodle dish. Unfortunately, the version here is not the best. Everything else we have tried, however, is very good. They also have very delicious smoothie drinks. They have outdoor dining and parking in the mall is plentiful. The owner is very friendly, and she is always there greeting customers. read more

I ordered through them on DoorDash and the broth for my beef pho was still hot by the time I received it. It's decent Vietnamese food for the price, portion, and location. The mango papaya salad did not have any spice to it, it was more sweet and it does come with peanuts which I didn't know. So be careful if you have a sensitivity or allergy. I've ordered takeaway at least 3x over the last few months and I'm always so happy with my Pho Ga (Chicken Noodle Soup), it's so tasty and filling. I also recommend the tofu fried egg rolls and the thai tea with boba (when calling in your order, let them know you want boba, I told them pearl once based on the menu and they didn't include it in my drink). The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because the last time I went in to pick up my order I noticed that when they bring your food out (this is for the folks who dine in) they walk out with your food and it touches the curtain that separates the cash register from the kitchen, I've noticed at least two dishes brought out by two different servers where the actual food touches the curtains (yuck). read more

The best pho in this area! I come here all the time, even when they first opened. Loyal customer! My family is from Vietnam, even though we are Chinese blood. So Vietnamese food is definitely one of my favorites. Pho is delicious. Bun bo hue is really good. Bun rieu, I haven't tried since I usually just make my own at home. But so far, the main noodle soups are delicious. Wished they made Banh Canh though! Their Banh Xeo is soooo good and crispy! I used to only eat the ones my grandma made before she passed away. And if you know how to make Banh Xeo at home, you know you end up making like 10 of them because of all the ingredients you have to buy and how much batter you end up with. But whenever I crave one, I just come here! Those are hard to perfect, and they do it right without burning it! Everything is fresh here and delicious. Even their Banh Mi sandwiches are bomb, especially the cha lua if you're a true Banh Mi eater! It has the pate in it, yummmm. Also, they're good sized sandwiches for the price! Yuuuummy!! I was on my way back to Sacramento from a work trip and was overdue on lunch. Boy, was I happy to find this gem! I was seated outside, so it was kind of chilly, but the kind lady who works there offered me hot tea twice. She was friendly and recommended the vegetarian pho after I had ordered two vegetarian dishes (sorry - next time!). I ordered the tofu banh mi, which was made with delicious, not-overly-flaky bread. I wasn't a huge fan of the fresh tofu on the inside, but that might be preference; I usually like the shredded tofu. I also got the vegetarian spring rolls which were super bomb. The pork banh mi was delicious, and it was filling enough to split with my fiancée both times. Also, their pork egg rolls were some of the best I've had in a while.
