In love with this place! We had the combination seafood($11.95) and beef stew($9.95), which was full of flavor! Can't wait to return to try their grilled meat banh mi sandwich, grilled shrimp and meat vermicelli noodle, house special Pho, catfish clay pot, fried Vietnamese catfish in ginger fish sauce, chicken salad with shrimp chips, seafood sour soup(Thai style), etc. Lol.. the list goes on! Wish I could stay hungry and try them all within one visit! Hahahah. Delicious food, reasonable priced! You can easily split a bowl of these noodles and be full! I couldn't finish the entire bowl. Best pho in Rocklin? Definitely lived up to the high reviews. Took a party of 9 at 2pm on a Tuesday for lunch. Got seated immediately and service was great throughout the meal. Well this is perhaps one of the worst experiences I had with restaurants on the past few years. Went it for the first time based on the overall good ratings but it was a major disappointment, in fact I was a bit worried what the food will do to me afterwards. The problem not just how they cooked the food, but also the quality of the materials used in their dishes. We ordered Korean BBQ beef short rib, which was like rubber almost impossible to chew, and not edible at all. The bone-in short rib Pho looked good in picture but the meat is so tasteless I suspect they use the ribs in making their soup for days before they serve them in the Pho to us. The bean sprouts already turned color and I was afraid to put them in the soup. No way I am going back to this place again. read more

Great after school treat! We ordered pho and a rice plate, along with the calamari appetizer. The service was okay, the waitress was accommodating. She brought out the food at the same time so everyone got to eat together which I really like. The rice plate was arranged very nicely and aesthetically pleasing. The pho was large! I did not think it was going to be that big and all of us snacked on it in the end. The calamari, was okay. First of all, outstanding customer service. I was seated right away. I was checked on after receiving my food. I ordered the Pho Special. The pho was good although the broth was a little sweeter than I had expected. After adding some ingredients to my soup, the sweet aftertaste was hardly noticeable. Ordered a house special pho and chicken pho, both were severely lacking flavor with tough beef and more chewy than normal tripe which was pretty much globs of fat. Maybe the soups would have been passable had I been given more than 1 sprig of basil and hardly any sprouts. Feeling under the weather and wanted pho. didn't want to drive downtown to our favorite spot so we decided to come here instead. Walked in and there was no wait. Sat down and ordered. Originally from the Bay area and having lived in LA for 10 years...I've have my fair share of BOMB and authentic PHO. Customer service was great here, but the broth tasted too sweet for my preference. Noodles were not cooked thoroughly and a bit hard and the broth could have been served HOT instead of warm. Not sure if it's cause we arrived 30 mins before they closed...but on the bright side, their meatballs and milk tea were good though. Will return because of convenience and they do have plenty of other options on their menu that I will try. read more

Super clean and very friendly. I am used to banh mi from Little Saigon in San Jose and have not found anything comparable until now. I had steamed pork roll (Cha lua). It came out hot and crispy. My only complaint is I would like a little more pate and veggies, but I am walking away completely satisfied. I hope to be in the area so I can eat here again! Edited: brought home some shrimp and steamed pork spring rolls. As I was eating them, I could taste something off. Rip it open to find rotten cilantro and green onions. The shrimp on my wife's plate was so tasty all by itself. She let me have one. I had the Pho with flank, brisket, and steak. It was awesome. Also had the shrimp egg rolls. Those were very good. This place is the BOMB. If you like spring rolls I would highly recommend Shrimp with grilled pork or better yet their rolls with their mama seasoned pork. Top that with grilled meat and fried egg roll with vermicelli noodles.....my lord. I get excited every time I order from this place because their quality of food is always consistently superb. It was a late night and I was craving some noodles. Ramen downtown was too far and my normal pho place was about to close. I decided it's time for a trip to Rocklin! Pho Cali was a place I have been wanting to try so I decided it was the perfect place to visit. You get a Vietnamese diner feel when you come in. I was greeted by a very nice girl. We looked at the menu and decided after 5 mins what to get. The menu was very big and full of options. I was almost tempted to try the rice plates or chef specials. They all looked very appetizing but my mission tonight was the pho. My fiancé and I ordered the 34 which is the beef special and egg rolls. You get 2 very large egg rolls go 3.50 cut in half and they were very good but slightly too oily. I would give it a 4/5. The pho I have was very good. The broth was clean and sweet. Not as aromatic as I like with the star anise and cardamom but it was good, better than most. My only gripes are meat to noodle ratio but the plus side is the abundance of broth. The meat was tender and not stringy like you would find at many pho places. Over all 3.5/5. All in all this place deserves 4/5. You can't find many decent pho places north or Sacramento and this place definitely satisfies the craving. Definitely worth the visit especially with how well it's priced. read more

HM! Yelp says they're open until 10pm on Saturday but when we placed an order and picked up around 9:30...they were nice enough to take our order, but they were all cleaned up and ready to go! So they're not open? we ordered the pho dac biet- pretty solid bun nem nuong tom cha gio- you get one piece of nem nuong and 4-5 shrimp and an eggroll, it was okay. wasn't anything special. this place had great reviews but definitely on the pricier side. lots of other options if in the area. read more

We were in town and my son had a hankering for pho. He was pleased. My husband likes the vermicelli plates and he really liked his plate as well. I ordered the fresh shrimp spring rolls and they were fine. I'm used to them having fresh basil in addition to the lettuce, these didn't have it. The only other thing I was missing was the option of hot oil for the condiments. I love that on everything and have become accustomed to it being available for pho. The chicken salad was good but I think they added a little too much sugar. The veggie soup with egg noodle soup was pretty good and healthy. Husband ordered the bun bo rieu and it was ok. The broth had was a little sweet We had about 37 people in my party and they were able to accomodate all of us. We just had to notify them an hour in advance. On their menu, the spring roll says "4 rolls" and we were only given 2 ($7 dollars for 2 rolls). When we asked the employee about it, they say they usually cut up their rolls making it into 4 halve rolls. We recommended that they change their menu to better reflect what they are offering and they said they will "think about it". In additional to this, their sandwiches say pate is included. First time here and this is the best bun bo hue I've had in the Sacramento area. I've been to two other places and they don't even compare. It's spicy but not super spicy, has blood tofu, pork and thinly sliced beef. They use the correct noodles too! They don't serve banana blossoms? Beware! Bugs?!? We had bug or insect eggs of some sort on our food! Check out the photo and decide for yourself, but this grass piece was taken from inside one of the spring rolls. Pretty gross! However they are washing the vegetables, it's not working! I'd stay away. We ordered Beef Pho, which was good, with a nice broth flavor and plenty of extras. Came across this place on a whim on a Friday night on Yelp. Called and placed a to go order. It was quick and easy to order via phone. Went inside to pick up my order and noticed how busy it was but the wait time was well worth it. The Pho was a good portion as well as the sandwiches. Both were pretty delicious. As far as the Thai tea with boba, it was ok minus the boba. The boba was a weird texture and made the drink taste funny.
