Updated review since it has been a while. Pho Bistro has been around FOREVER. I remember eating here in high school 8-9 years ago. It has been so long since I ate here, and I was hoping it was as good as I remembered (and it is!!!). Ordered 2 combination pho, a grilled pork banh mi, egg rolls, and a couple drinks. Everything was packaged nicely and was piping hot still by the time I got home. The portion size for both the pho and banh mi are really nice especially for the price! The pho broth had great flavor, and the banh mi was super refreshing with the bread being hot/toasty and the added cucumber and lettuce for toppings.

After 3 years not much has changed. We stopped in after a 4 hour kayak trip and it did the trick. Crispy fried Cha Gio egg rolls were firm and filled with ground pork. The accompanying cool lettuce wraps, cilantro, pickled vegetables and dipping sauce contrasted with the piping hot rolls (4). Still simple beef noodle soups served in a humble ambiance were huge. Plates of mung bean sprouts, basil, cilantro and jalapeño were fresh garnishes I love. Combo Pho is the one to order that's chock full of rice noodles, beef brisket, tripe, meatball, and usually tendon. Stock was flavorful, but a little thin on strength. Friendly very quick service but it was around 2:30pm.

Our $15 Bahn mi

It hurts my heart to write this negative review because this place was our go-to Bahn mi spot close to our house. I'm pretty sure there are new owners as of the past month or so, and the quality and experience at the restaurant has gone down. Meat on Bahn mi is chewy and barely even on the sandwhich, and they put a gigantic stalk to cilantro on the sandwich and called it a day. When we ate there last week the meat was chewy and the service wasn't responsive. In Las Vegas there are tons of options for Vietnamese food. That being said, we will save our $15 PER BAHN MI and go somewhere else.

Craving for banh mi and I'm on the East side of town. Read about Pho Bistro and quite a few good reviews. Lots of parking on this strip mall where it is located. A few people dining at around lunch time. Server was quick to greet and help. The place needs a bit of TLC but really, more interested on the food. I ordered a bbq pork banh mi and egg rolls for take out. Nice to have been served water while waiting for my food. The banh mi was huge, though lacking the crispiness of the baguette. It was more like a hoagie roll. A bit disappointing. The egg rolls came with the typical Vietnamese condiments of lettuce, cilantro, dipping sauce and pickled daikon and radish. A little on the salty side for my liking but better than the banh mi as for expectations. . So it was just ok. To be fair, gotta go back for the pho and see what the fuss was about.

First time pho for me and what a little gem this place was. My sis was in town and wanted to take me to try pho and it was delicious here. My sister goes for pho often and said it was spectacular. Good service and kind people too. It's a little hole in the wall but fantastic!

The service here is little chaotic sometimes. Be ready for it lol. This is my local pho place in the neighborhood. It takes me 5 min to get here so I support them. Beef steak pho was great, but the amount of beef was little small, so I ordered extra. Very good soup. I love it.

This place is a hidden gem! It wasn't very busy but deserves its recognition. The dish that I got was great, the meat was very well marinated, and everything in it paired well together. The owner was a very nice lady and made sure everything was to my liking. I would recommend the Bún Thịt Nướng Chả Giò. This is a cold vermicelli noodle dish with grilled meat (thịt nướng) and egg roll (chả giò) paired with fish sauce that you pour on top of the whole dish.

Review #71 of 2023 3 P.M. visit on December 21st Met the owner and she shared that the business has been opened for 11 days. We ordered quite a few items. Mine was the beef pho and my wife had the seafood pho. My daughters enjoyed shrimp fried rice, deep fried egg rolls, and fried tofu. We also ordered a BBQ pork Banh Mi to go. Definitely some feel good and tasty food served here. Mellow vibes, but with the expected traditional Vietnamese service. Good, fast, tasty food. The only item that took long was the Bahn Mi. Prices are reasonable which makes this a definite spot we will come back to.

Super tiny hole in the wall place. Our waitress was very friendly and we asked her about a few of the items on the menu. We ordered the beef pho, the egg rolls, and a pork banh mi. Everything came quick and boiling hot to the table. The prices are also super reasonable. I think it was 12-14$ for the pho and for the bahn mi!

Great food and service. These are the new Asian owners. The previous Hispanic owner sold the business to them.

Service was ok, especially for how slow and empty the restaurant was when we arrived. The timing of the food was poorly managed. My wife's entree came out far before mine, and she had already finished eating before my dish even arrived. Also, while she was still eating her egg rolls, the server brought over the rice paper with hot water in a plastic container and placed it right next to her plate mid-meal. The service felt unorganized and awkward overall. The egg rolls tasted like they had been refried. The veggies and herbs looked stale and close to going bad. The vermicelli with pork patties had a very small amount of meat and tasted like it had been reheated in the microwave. The hot water served for rice paper came in a plastic containers, "Hot water in plastic". The peanut sauce also had an unusual coconut flavor that did not taste right. We also ordered the Vietnamese crepe. It was burnt, the pork tasted awful, and the shrimp was overcooked. Again, the vegetables and herbs did not taste fresh. The fish sauce dip was probably the only thing that tasted decent. Sadly, this place is not what it used to be. This place is now on our "Do not eat at" list.

Review #40 of 2025…read more It's unfortunate that there's business closed. It was one of our favorites when it came down to the big bone soup, and other Asian fusion. Service was always spot on. And the ambience was mellow, depending on what time you went. If they open up somewhere else, I would love to know so I could continue to support the People working for this establishment.

I remember their pho being much better before. I normally order pho tai but went with Shaking Beef Pho this time. Prices have for sure gone up! $25 for a bowl of pho that barely tasted like pho!! This one adds some sate or chili in it but it still lacked any of the pho spice flavors. One of my friends also ordered this as well and agreed. My other friend ordered the Oxtail Pho. I tried a sip of his broth and it was the same. No pho spices at all. It's already a bad sign when you walk into a pho spot or when they bring the bowls out and you don't smell the aroma of pho. My friend's oxtail wasn't even cooked long enough. The pros: the noodles were cooked perfectly and the shaking beef in the pho was tender. Our server was also nice. Not sure if maybe it was just an off day or maybe they were still making the broth and forgot the spice. Idk but I will be choosing a different pho restaurant next time I'm in Vegas

Yen Viet Kitchen is one of those rare finds. My wife specifically wanted to come here to try the bánh canh cua, and it did not disappoint. The broth was rich and comforting, with that signature seafood depth you expect from a well-made bowl. I ordered the bánh cuốn and nem cuốn, and both were excellent. The bánh cuốn had that delicate, silky texture with flavorful filling, and the nem cuốn were fresh, clean, and well-balanced--exactly what you'd hope for. What I really appreciate about this place is how authentic the food feels. It's not overly modernized or watered down--it tastes like the kind of dishes you'd find at a traditional Vietnamese spot rather than something trendy or fusion-focused. If you're someone who knows good Vietnamese food, this spot is definitely worth checking out. It's always a great feeling to find a place in Vegas that delivers that level of authenticity.
