10/25/25 My husband and I, along with four friends, came here for dinner and had such a great experience. We ordered the spicy beef pho with thick noodles to share, as well as the Vietnamese special pancake with pork and shrimp, both were so, so good! Everything came out piping hot and freshly made, best food to have with the cold weather. Because of our group size, there was a 20% charge for a large party, which caught us a little by surprise, but the staff kindly let us know it would count toward the tip. We all thought large groups were 8+ but it's ok. Just first time experiencing it with 6 people. Service was attentive and friendly throughout our meal. Less is more when it comes to broth. I like to add the flavors myself. Chili oil is available upon request. The fried pork eggrolls were decent. I got a brisket and steak phó with a side of meatballs. Now they asked if I wanted 6 or 12 meatballs. I wanted six. What they don't tell you is they cut the meatballs into thirds. Excellent fried rice but the egg rolls were super small and very greasy. Boba drinks galore but very pricey. The whole menu is pricey, but that is Lexington for you. As a visitor to the area, I'm not sure what the "history" of this place might be, if it used to be better, or whatever, but we stumbled upon it while shopping in the area and it seemed like a great choice for a chilly night. I knew I wanted a steamy, flavorful bowl of pho, but the rest of the MANY choices on the menu were VERY tempting as well... My friend's stir fried noodles with chicken was gone in a flash, he was very happy with it. My pho with beef and meatballs barely had any meat, and though the broth was flavorful and plenty of "add-on" veggies were included, if I were to return, I might skip the Pho and go instead for one of their other specialties. BTW, my small (paper) cup of Vietnamese coffee I ordered with my meal was good, but hardly worth the nearly $7.00 I paid for it. I've been going to Pho Bc for years now and used to go every single day! I went for there reopening and how they redecorated the restaurant is so cute. I haven't been in a few months so I was excited to see if anything had changed and if the food was still as good as I remember. I have tried many different items on there menu but this day I got the P.11 Spicy Beef Pho or (Bon Bo Hue.) I also got the Pork salad roll for an appetizer. The Spicy Beef Pho was not as flavorful as I remember but there was good fish sauce on the table I put in the soup. The only downside is that they have raised there prices a lot. From going there everyday 2 years ago to now I probably wouldn't go as often. Other than that definitely the best Vietnamese restaurant in town. read more

I can't wrap my head around how or why this place does not have 5 stars. If you are looking for an authentic taste of Vietnam look no further. I favor this place over places in Louisville Chicago and San Diego! I have had everything from their pho, stir fry, salad like noodle type bowls and more. Their banh mi alone is well worth it. Plus for the boba lovers there's a whole boba and dessert section. If you love Mexican flan you must try banh flan, Vietnamese style flan with different flavors. If you love spicy foods, spicy beef pho/bun bo hue is the way ! If you enjoy salads, bun thit nuong or the shrimp papaya salad is a quick go to. (Don't forget the fish sauce) Note: beef stir fry is much more flavorful than the chicken stir fry. Vietnamese egg rolls are way better than Chinese/Thai spring rolls. Don't skip the egg roll sauce. There are so many different bowls that you can choose from, as well as different sizes. Spoiler alert.... a small is HUGE! The restaurant is also connected to a bubble tea shop, so you obviously have to try that out too! I tried the pineapple smoothie with fruit jelly, and it was so refreshing! Best Vietnamese food and one of my favorite restaurants in Lexington. I've been coming here for years, and while I was bummed to see the price increases, I know that they were unavoidable (I don't think they increased their prices for nearly a decade!) Food is excellent and fresh, usually the portions are great, and the service is always fast. The place looks beautiful after the remodel, love the atmosphere and I'm glad to see their continued success. I came here with a friend for dinner the other night. They seem to stay busy so there's a chance that you'll have to wait to be seated. The employees are friendly and efficient. I got the pork spring rolls and the beef stir-fried rice noodles. I cannot emphasize enough the portions of this place. There was easily enough for three people with my dish. It was so delicious and I had plenty of leftovers for the rest of the week. I'm not the biggest fan of boba tea but it's one of their most popular beverages. Pho BC finally opened back up after months of relocation, so we obviously had to go and check them out. The place is very nice as you would expect. It still has that old Pho BC feel to it, but just cleaner and better. They did a great job with it. One thing though, is that the ceiling fan makes the light look like it's constantly flickering, and it was quite a bit of a nuisance. This only seemed to bother us, towards the far side wall. Service was slow; granted, we went as a group of 7, but it was past the "peak hours" around 7:30pm, and waited at least an hour for all of our food to show up. Food was alright, but it's not what it used to be before the renewal. I ordered a beef pho with spicy broth, and the broth wasn't as tasty (as in, filled with umami) nor spicy compared to months ago. Also, $17 for a regular size pho sounds a bit ridiculous to me??? Not to mention the 20% fixed tip for a "large party". Is an hour-long wait for food a 20%-worthy service? Not so sure about that. It's such a shame knowing that people will keep coming here to pay a premium price for a subpar bowl of pho. read more

Pho BC got me through many hungover mornings in college. It will always have a place in my heart for nostalgic reasons. Their pho broth is decent along with great service.
