We got the fresh spring rolls, the spicy beef stew with egg noodles pho, the special combination W1 sandwich, and the grilled pork sandwich. Every single thing we ordered was finger-licking good. The sandwiches were so good with the pho, great flavor combination. The pho was packed with flavor and the beef stew had just the right amount of spice. It's the perfect comfort food for a chilly day or when you're feeling under the weather. The soup wasn't too warm by the time we got home, but we simply heated it up on the stove and it was amazing. The sandwiches were fresh, flavorful, and so satisfying. The staff was very friendly upon pickup and had everything packed up perfectly so nothing spilled. The takeout box was organized and easy to carry. We enjoyed every bite for dinner and will most definitely be returning. Next time we're planning to dine in and enjoy it even more fresh. Note new, smaller square plates rather than original (larger) round dishes (check the pictures). While mom used to spice the dishes in the back, now they avoid spice and let you mix in your own. A spice tray provides several options. The food, while prepared differently, still tastes fine. But what really stung was the missing home cooking atmosphere. The chef/owner was sitting by the exit and didn't offer so much as a smile or a thank you as we left. That would never happened with the previous owners.

We are out-of-towners (Florida and Wyoming) and had an interesting drive from Over-the-Rhine (OTR to locals) on Queen City Avenue westbound through a very historic area to Cheviot (I believe that is the neighborhood where Pho Viet is located).
