Prices were very reasonable and there are a lot of Asian Tapas offerings and a wide variety of sushi rolls. They even have some vegan options which was important to our group. I got the "pick three" and chose sushi for all three options-- some of the sushi types tasted better than others, but nothing was bad. Once we ordered, our server didn't come back until it was time to pay, but we didn't need anything anyway, so I guess that didn't matter. I'll definitely eat here again. I liked the vibe, but it was a little loud and difficult to hear the person I was with because of the background noise, but after the lunch rush, the place was pretty empty. My friends ordered white and rose wines that they liked. The hot jasmine tea was on point and the server was attentive in offering more refills of hot water. Miso soup was good, and green salad properly dressed. I was less impressed with the nigiri and was happy not to get the 9-piece combo. Both the tuna and salmon were fresh but the rice I found too hard and dense - the nigiri does not pass my "loosely-packed, disintegrate-in-mouth" criteria. The box is also served with steamed rice and soup. It looked amazing and next visit I'll definitely try the Bento Box with Korean Tacos. There are MANY choices of combo items for the Bento Box. It looks to be run by a friendly couple and is locally owned, which is alway a major plus to me. The sushi chef is friendly and created a wonderful assortment for the Chirashi Bowl. I don't know if we caught them on an off night but we did not have the best experience at Buddha Lounge. It was very busy - within the few blocks of Rupp Arena, so definitely something to consider if there is an event going on there and you are not familiar with the area (we are not). We were seated without a reservation for 2, which was lucky, but I think because they were so busy and we saw them having to turn people away later on throughout the meal, it made it hard to hear and order/felt like they were rushing to get us out. I got nigiri and supreme rainbow roll and unfortunately it did not taste the most fresh. I am also spoiled being in the Cincinnati area most of the time where there are several 1/2 price sushi places, so in comparison to that and with lower quality, these rolls and sushi felt overpriced. Like a buffet that comes to you. I had the tempora shrimp, Korean tacos and Japanese fried chicken aka Karaage. Everything was amazing! And the portion sizes are generous. The lunch bento box also comes with soup, rice and salad. The salad was tasty. I had a Thai Iced Tea to drink and it was sweet and sublime. Came out for dinner on a Thursday night and decided to give Buddha Lounge a try. They do have happy hour specials (from 4-6pm on weeknights I believe) and have a special menu of apps and a few rolls that are a few dollars cheaper than the regular prices. I wasn't very impressed with the service, we had 3 different waitresses and it just seemed a little disorganized. There were also a lot of menus which got confusing: a menu for tapas, a drink menu, a roll menu, and a happy hour menu; it would be easier to follow if they were all in one book instead of separate pages.
