The chicken fried rice "special " was filled with crispy pieces of dried rice, minimal freshness, salty and a tad greasy, nope very very greasy. Felt and tasted old for a Saturday evening meal. The sushi was not chilly, kinda like my raw salmon chilly and my seaweed wrap not so chewy, had to bite around the seaweed and 12.00 for a lack luster Lexington Roll was disheartening. Hubs out of town, so I thought I'd give this place a try. To try a couple of things, I ordered Shrimp Dumplings, Gyoza and Hibachi Chicken & Vegetables w Fried Rice. The Shrimp Dumplings had a strong taste of aging fish. One small nibble & those went in the trash. The Gyoza were fried in a deep fryer & seemed as though they might have been fried more than once. The dumpling wrapper was as hard, dry & crumbly as a fortune cookie, although the filling was tasty. The chicken & vegetables was best of the lot. The vegetables were fresh & not overcooked. The chicken had a very good flavor but was very dry. The rice was well cooked, but incredibly salty and I'm a salt lover. If the Gyoza had not been so hard they would have tied with the vegetables for best of show. read more

I just drove in from the airport, was tired and hungry. Made the mistake of going to KFC a block away and left in disgust. Found this gem on my way back to the hotel. WOW! Fast, reasonably priced hot and fresh food. I am glad KFC drive thru sucked which made me leave. The employees here are very nice and helpful. I ordered the hibachi steak and shrimp. Very clean and modern interior. Very friendly staff. I ordered a large order 10 min before they closed and they got it read in no time without complaint. The yum yum sauce is excellent. The hibachi is great for the price. I think they would put in a little more meat on the hibachi plates IMO but otherwise excellent. The Cali roll was perfect but I was slightly let down by the tempura shrimp roll (might have not been the freshest being the last order of the evening). They were so nice they even gave me an extra container of hibachi veggies! The crab Rangoon was lacking the crab and was much heavier on the cream cheese, couldn't find any crab at all actually but they were still good! I really was not overly impressed by Koi express. The food is pretty good quality but you could get same or better quality, much larger portions from a traditional sit down restaurant. Compared to some other similar restaurants I expect getting salad and soup for that price. Also the deep fried roll was really small. read more

Check out Frankfort's New Hibachi Restaurant located on Jett Blvd!! Didn't get a copy of the menu but they have a wide variety of seafood, hibachi and other delicious entrees. I purchased the Vegtavle Hibachi and lived in. The veggies we're well steamed and tasty. The rice was well done and flavorful as well. We also purchased Spring Rolls, it comes with 1 but I added a order of them because they are a favorite. Check them out for pick up, delivery and dine in. read more

Tried their Alaskan roll and their veggie noodle dish, ordered it through DoorDash. Got extra eel sauce and yum yum sauce. Their Alaskan roll was exactly as expected; fresh and delicious. The eel sauce is a favorite of mine for really any sushi roll, so I was very excited to be able to order a cup of it on the side. The veggie noodle dish was also delicious! The sauce on there is savory and sweet, and the yum yum sauce adds just a vibrant punch. My only complaint is that I would have loved for the veggies to be more plentiful and cut into smaller bites. I'll definitely be returning! read more

I love this place it's close to my house so whenever I'm in the mood for some sushi Or hibachi I go here they're crab Rangoon is delicious so is their clear soup they are a little bit smaller of an establishment but they had also had some tables outside to eat at which is nice when the weather is good they're not overpriced and they're very friendly read more

I have been so excited to try this out, I love all kinds of Japanese foods. I got the steak hibachi and my husband got the chicken teriyaki, they were sooo good! I will say I think the portioning could have been better there was a TON of rice and just a small scoop of meat and veggies(this could also be because we got it to go since there is no dine in allowed at the moment #quarantine2020) we also got the shrimp dumpling which were amazing, and they came with a sweet chili sauce that seemed to me homemade maybe. The yum yum sauce was really good too, one of the best tasting ones I've had. The staff were very friendly and nice, and the food came out pretty fast as well. Over all very happy and will be eating there all the time, I can't wait to try their sushi as well. read more

Great little place. Very clean and the staff was very friendly. I had the hibachi salmon, it was wonderful. Perfectly cooked, it was served piping hot. The vegetables were fresh and crispy and not drowned in sauce. The shrimp dumplings were very tasty. The tiger roll was a hit. Lots of spicy crab in a nice sauce on a well made sushi roll. So I will say the food always seems to be good here. Fresh, hot and tasty. My only issue is and this may not bother some of you but if you order a side item or anything deep fried for take out, the food is always so hot it burns the styrofoam take out container. It's like they don't rest anything deep fried and literally every time the take out containers are burned through. Things go straight from the fryer to the styrofoam take out containers. I just don't want to eat anything that was burning plastic. If that's your thing no problem, but if that worries you, you may want to eat somewhere else. read more

I've heard many good things about this place so i decided to order some hibachi teriyaki chicken and fried rice using grub hub. The chicken was barley sauced and was 10$ . I only got about 8 pieces of chicken and the rice had little to no flavor at all. I was expecting something like ginza and got something like a frozen dinner.
