Zundo is one of my family's absolute favorites! Their ramen is rich and comforting, and the sushi is top-notch--always made with care. The atmosphere is relaxed but lively, perfect for both family dinners and casual nights out. If you love ramen and sushi as much as I do, Zundo never disappoints!

It's good but for the price I would say not so much. The overall decorations and ambiance is great! But the service is a 3/5 as well.

Back to Zundo for another poke bowl, Umami Salmon. With green and sweet onion, edamame, radishes, shredded nori and sesame dressing. A very good lunch. I'm definitely a fan of Zundo. 26

Come here!! I dined for my birthday and it was amazing! Impeccable service (plus robot delivery!), beautiful aroma first entering, super cool set up and ambiance, and unforgettable food! Played very well and the textured and flavors paired very well together! The 007 was definitely top 5 sushi rolls I have ever had! Come try it!

Very cool atmosphere! Decor is on point and a robot will deliver the food to your table. (Humans will take it off the robot and place it on your table). The Sushi was fantastic. The Ramen was good. Presentation on both was incredible. Would like to try some different Ramen the next time, but definitely worth the trip to Lexington!

I really wanted to love this place but unfortunately it wasn't my place. We tried a lot of things on the menu and they were all okay, nothing to write home about. I did think the pork belly buns were good and probably the best you'd find in Lexington. The other things needed just a little more something to make it stand out. They maybe were having a off night so I'll be back to give it another chance, but it's not somewhere I will be craving.

My husband and I dined here a few weeks ago and really enjoyed our dinner! We both love ramen and we're excited about a new place opening up. Zundo is in the old Outback Steakhouse location near the mall, but has been renovated to be two restaurants- one more of a casual feel and one more upscale. I ordered the veggie ramen and added a 1/2 egg and it was delicious! The noodles tasted so fresh and the broth was full of flavor. The only critique I have would be with the ambiance- it is a nice spot but feels more cafeteria/industrial than a cozy restaurant. I'd definitely go back though the next time we go for ramen!

Phenomenal service and food. Sashimi was fresh and drinks complimented the fish very well. Great quality of food. Came for anniversary and will definitely be coming back! Also very clean bathrooms

In a word exceptional. The ramen was amazingly delicious and their sushi was heads above anything I've had in Kentucky. The service was friendly and since it was on a weekday past the lunch hour, quite fast. The restaurant is on the small side and in a strip mall, next to a boba tea place, which I think they own too. I got some starter sushi, the toro uni caviar and was totally blown away. Wow, hard to find a place with uni in Kentucky but it seems to be on the menu at most places in Lexington, so topping butter sweet toro with uni is sublime. I got the spicy tonkotsu and my daughter got the shoyu ramen. The tonkotsu broth was rich and full of flavor as was shoyu though lighter and a tad more subtle. The star though were the noodles, tasting fresh and homemade. I got curry tonkatsu to go and unlike most places, it was perfectly fried and though eaten later the pork cutlet was moist. Most every other place the tonkatsu and chicken katsu are over cooked (fried) and hard and dry. I grew up Hawaii and have eaten ramen, sushi, katsu all over the globe and Zundo among the best.

This place is a great spot for sushi and Japanese food. They can sometimes be swamped, so please give them time and patients; typically, there are only two servers for the whole restaurant. All the food that they serve you is so delicious! I brought my mom here about a day ago, and before that, my friend and I had been here a couple of times--all my experiences were great, and the food is even better than most Japanese restaurants in Lexington. I recommend this place for great Japanese food :)

Great convenient spot with an inviting atmosphere, service was prompt, warm and friendly. Most importantly the food was delicious and worth every penny. I'll visit again!

I cannot recommend Zundo enough! Went for my birthday. Got the tantanmen ramen, extra egg, and black garlic oil plus the Katsu curry rice. Also shout out to the auntie serving us! She knew I liked spicy so she brought chili oil and recommended the togorashi shichimi spice. She even packed up my stuff to go. Shes a real one. I may live close to tekka, and Sam's sushi, but Zundos is definitely my new go to for authentic Japanese food. Like Frodo and Sam wise, I would 100% take an unnecessary journey, but instead of that ring? I'd do it for Zundo's food.

I ordered some hot sake and green tea to start off. It was frigid outside. The seaweed salad I ordered was good but the miso soup that I didn't expect that came with my order was some of the best I've had. The other salad that came with the soup wasn't great. It honestly had little flavor, but that's ok because everything else was good so far. I ordered some sushi and a beef dish for the main course. I thought the dragon roll, fried shrimp tempura roll and an eel roll sounded good tonight. I also ordered the Yakiniku beef stir fry dish. I know what you're thinking, but I haven't eaten all day. So back off! lol Everything I had was delicious. Lots of flavor. The fried shrimp roll was my least favorite, which is unusual since that is one of my go-to rolls. As for the service, she wasn't very attentive. I had to get the sushi chefs from behind the bar to help me a few times. It wasn't busy, but she may have put the priority on the bigger table she picked up. I'm a good tipper so this may have been a mistake. No worries...don't get yourself all worked up, I'll get her taken care of. Overall, I think tonight's meal experience was a hit. I'm happy with most everything I tasted. I would definitely recommend and come back here again.
