I shared an order of the fries and had vegetarian pho and it was hands down the best pho in this area. Most vegetarian pho is tasteless but this was full of flavor! My husband had the pho bo and he agrees with me, best pho in the area! The fries are to die for. Finally an appetizer that is not covered in cheese! Man. I'm so happy I found this place. I've been in and order takeout and the quality is ALWAYS consistent. The fish sauce wings are to do die for. I tried their Pho for the first time last night and was blown away. Sooooo delicious! I'll first start off with the good parts of this restaurant.. I love how friendly the two waiters who helped were. They did come back to check multiple times to make sure my guest and I were doing okay, a little too frequently, but it's still a plus. The huge projector screen was a huge plus. I made comments how I wish my favorite pho place had a tv a little bigger. Last major plus was the Viet coffee I ordered. Delicious! I'm very picky about my coffee and it was great. Unfortunately, I feel like even though they are open late some days, another plus, the big con will keep me from returning. The pho was extremely bland. I feel like even plain pho should still taste great but this pho was just bland. The meat was also the same way. Even after adding different things to it, it just didn't do it for me. I really enjoyed my overall experience at Pho Barr. Upon entering, I was happily greeted by a staff member who promptly took my order when I said it was "To Go." She sat me down and gave me a water while I waited for my food to be prepared which was really nice of her. I ordered the Grilled Chicken Bahn Mi and Shrimp Spring Rolls. The Bahn Mi was delicious and the portion size was larger than expected, it was perfect for lunch! The shrimp spring rolls were okay, a tad bit underwhelming to be honest, but that may be because I got them to go rather than eating them fresh at the restaurant. Regardless, I am more than satisfied with my meal at Pho Barr and plan to return for lunch again in the future! read more

We order Togo or come eat here almost every other week. Even our in laws love it now and have added it to their rotation. Love the wings, egg rolls, spring rolls we order ours with pork and shrimp, their fries are delicious, and ofcourse the ribeye bahmi with an egg! So delicious! Their banh mi is one of my favorite in the Clear Lake area. Nice size pieces of pork that is moist and tasty on really good bread. At first I wasn't sure about their Vietnamese egg rolls when they brought them out, but enjoyed the extra crispy crunchy outer layer that captures the fish sauce just right. The pho is good with a clean broth, but I'll probably order it without the Vietnamese meatballs next time. Very nice group running the place with friendly servers. Went today and I can just say this place is super delicious! My favorites were the fries with beef and the beef and rice place. The beef is so soft and well seasoned. The Vietnamese coffee was strong but good! Matcha milk tea was yummy and the tapioca is really good. The customer service is really good and the workers there are so nice! This place is super delicious. We ordered shrimp and pork eggs rolls( a must!) shrimp spring rolls, wonton dumplings, chicken noodle soup and wonton soup. Everything was made homeade with fresh ingredients. The staff is super sweet and friendly . They are very knowledgeable about all of their dishes. Ohhh , make sure to get the butterfly lemonade.
