Vietnamese coffee
Fortuna N.

Their pho is 3/5 since the broth was not seasoned well and a bit bland. I ordered their side of pickled onions and it wasn't pickled enough more like raw onions, however, they do give a hefty size. BUT their Vietnamese coffee at this spot is 5/5!!!! Great pricing for $6 for its size which came in a huge large cup! The coffee was strong and sweetened perfectly with condense milk which had the right amount of crushed ice. I would come back here for their Vietnamese coffee to go.

When you can't get your ass all the way to garden grove or Westminster this is a solid spot to get your pho and Vietnamese cuisine fix. I hadn't dined in here for quite some years but thought it was really good. The staff here is really friendly, quick and and attentive. I'm also a fan for their two hot sauces / chili paste things. Overall a great restaurant serving your classic Vietnamese soups, egg noodle and rice dishes. Chúc mừng!

Pho Ba Co is a Vietnamese restaurant located in Stonecreek Plaza. There's plenty of parking spaces in the plaza. They serve noodles, rice, and side dishes. I opted for the pho and was very satisfied. Quality was top notch. The broth was tasty. It came with a huge portion of noodles and the perfect amount meat (brisket and rare steak). They also have the plate of basil, bean sprout, lemon/lime and jalapeño on the side. Everything together tasted amazing - I was very full. Next time, I'd like to try the take out deals. It seems like those are cheaper than dine-in and is a perfect fit for a party of two. Service was friendly, efficient, and quick. The ambiance is simple with many tables and chairs - nothing particularly unique. Overall, this is a fantastic restaurant serving up delicious pho that's sure to satisfy anyone's soup noodle craving.

We were in the mood for Vietnamese food, and Pho Ba Co had some pretty good Yelp reviews, so I decided to check it out. Got there around 5pm, and it was nice and quiet since they weren't busy yet. We were hangry, so we jumped right into ordering: Grilled Value Platter Beef (4/5), Grilled Value Platter Pork Chop (4/5), and Rib & Tai Pho (3.9/5) The pho came out crazy fast, like 5 minutes, but the grilled beef and pork chop platters took about 15 minutes to arrive. The pho broth was super satisfying and flavorful, though the rib meat was a bit tough and stuck to the bone--otherwise, I might've rated it higher. The beef and pork chop platters were solid, well-cooked, and tasty, definitely earning their 4/5. The staff was awesome, always checking in to see if we needed anything, which made the meal even better. The restaurant was clean, and the restroom was spotless too. They had boba drinks on the menu, but I was too full to try them. Overall, it was a good experience, and I'd probably order another bowl of pho next time I swing by! My Personal Rating : 4.24 Food 4/5 Service 4.3/5 Price 4/5 Ambiance 4.3/5 Cleanliness 4.5/5

I think for the Irvine area, this is a pretty solid Vietnamese pho spot. It has a large menu with various combinations and value sets. It's not the best I've had, but I'd come here if I don't want to drive out somewhere further like garden grove. The broth was clean and not too oily. Vegetables were fresh. Spring roll came with lettuce wraps and was really good. I also got a decent amount of large shrimps in my small bowl of pho. There's plenty of seating and service was good!

Pretty standard pho location. There is a long parking lot in front of the restaurants, sometimes it does get busy but I've never not found a spot. Just might have to park a bit farther. We got the spring roll and egg roll combo for our appetizer which was a good amount of food. Pretty filling overall. The pho itself was also good, a reasonable price for the amount of food.

Found this spot and the the pho was delicious! Especially for a spot in Irvine, will definitely be my go to! The rib pho has SO MUCH meat! I would definitely order the larger sizes, even for smaller eaters! They do charge for sliced onions if you eat it with that! Servers are very friendly and parking is very doable!

Came here around 7pm and it wasn't overly busy so I was able to get a table right away. Pretty good pho just stopping by. Aesthetic & Ambience: 6/10 nothing overly noticeable or stands out. The ambiance is lowkey but does get busy. Service: 9/10 honestly the service was great. I sat ordered and got my food in under 10 minutes. Rare steak pho: 7.5/10 broth was good, and they gave a generous portion of veggies.

I have been coming to this restaurant for years and it has been a family favorite!! I usually order the Pho with rare beef, brisket, and fish ball, but today I decided to try the Pho with beef rib bone and rare beef -- it was outstanding!! The meat was tasty and as usual, the broth is delicious. There was plenty of broth and noodles. The service was good, and I didn't feel rushed. I enjoyed my lunch on the patio in front of the restaurant. The manager, Kate, was friendly and she complimented my hair which was really thoughtful. I will definitely be back!!

Ok update for in person food! Just ate here and the food is flavorful, fast service, and good food. Definitely better than the take out and all food was cooked.

My friend and I visited this pho place for the first time since we were craving pho and needed to be in Irvine. This was the spot we decided on. I don't think I'm an expert on pho, but I thought this place was pretty good! I got the pho with meatballs and my friend got the pho with rare steak and brisket. The pho came with the plate of the usual veggies such as jalapenos, cilantro, bean sprouts, etc and lemons too. Sriracha and hoisin sauce and one more sauce was available on the table. My friend completely finished his! I feel like I probably could've, since I finished most of the noodles, but ended up taking the soup and veggies home so I could add some noodles and make a meal out of leftovers. Service was really quick and they were nice! They had a button at the table we were at we could press if we needed anything. They were quick to take our order and quickly served us water. Our pho came in I want to say in 5 mins or less. Ambiance is very casual. Reminds me of any pho restaurant. Lots of tables inside and even a few tables available outside! Overall I would definitely come again! I saw outside there was a good to go deal for 2 phos for $25 so my friend and I might try that next time!

New go-to pho place!! The food was delicious, and the service was even better. I ordered the #21 pho and I couldn't find the meatballs in there so they offered to bring me some extra. I ended up finding it buried at the bottom of the bowl, and they still brought out the extra meatballs after I told them I did have them. We sat outside and the workers checked up on us often. Very clean place as well. Definitely recommend!

Great take out or catering places! Will say in Westminster there are better pho and Vietnamese places but this place is solid especially for price and convenience. Indoor and outdoor lots of seating with 2 bathrooms and lots of parking. Many people order this place to go. No wait on a Tuesday afternoon around early dinner time. My friend ordered the chicken breast with vermicelli. Looked pretty plain and not much seasoning. Chicken breast cooked well. Pretty simple dish and good gateway to Vietnamese food for people who don't eat it much. Not too strong on the fish sauce and bold Vietnamese flavors. I ordered lemon grass with butter rice. Huge fish sauce taste which some may not appreciate and some may love. The grilled chicken isn't too grilled lol but well cooked. Needs more char. Butter rice was ok. Old rice seasoned. The soup tasted like MSG. Like OVERLY salty. I took probably 2 sips cuz the rice was really dry. I would not come again but maybe need to try their egg rolls. Seems to be popular or a good place for togo and catering. Good wide range of menu items though so good for a big party so people can order a bunch of different dishes that are decent.

The beef noodles with eggs was the first dish to show up. It's slightly salty for my taste, otherwise it's decent. The scallion pancakes were very layered, probably one of the best looking ones we've ordered. The beef rolls were also one of the nicest presentations I've seen. They were perfectly wrapped and not a single green onions or cilantro fell off. Service was excellent. Granted there was only one wait staff but he was very attentive and observant. I saw a black dot on my plate, he immediately went to get a new plate for me without me asking. He constantly came to check on us and add more water. Overall, it was OK. It does have a huge variety of selection. Next time I would like to try more dishes and maybe skewers too.

They had that lighter, slightly chewy texture that stands out compared to the usual. On a random weekday they had a good crowd for lunch, mostly office types from the surrounding buildings. It wasn't hard to get a table, but the food did take a bit longer than expected to come out. Pricewise you aren't looking at a bargain, but it's not unreasonable. I imagine parking might be difficult if it is more crowded as there are a limited number of spots in the parking lot and it has a funky one-way design. Overall this is a decent lunch spot if you're nearby and something different from the norm. Four solid stars.
