large portions and attentive staff ! the interior is very modern but cozy and pretty . would highly recommend ! :)

We were craving a big hot wholesome bowl of pho and it delivered! I got the large bowl and it was actually massive- my stomach was going to burst! I got the pho with the beef balls and beef brisket. The broth was so flavourful and it checked off the pho craving. We also shared the fried chicken which was tasty but not my favourite. Service was pretty fast as well and considering we were there the night before Chinese New Year, it was pretty busy as well. I'd definitely return.

I have to give a Shout out to Fellow Yelp Elite: Gray Charles https://www.instagram.com/reel/Cjedr2VDMyh/?igshid=MDJmNzVkMjY= For this awesome video. Also, my cousins who know the beat of the best spots to eat amazing Food in Toronto. We came here and ordered food to go on my last night in town. It was on my "wish list" to eat some amazing PHO before I left. Why? Because, when the weather is cold , and it starts snowing , my go to is PHO or Persian Ash. PHO was on my list and they didn't let me down. From the Fresh Ingredients, to large Portion size, and amazing quality this place is my new Favorite "Go To" next time I visit Canada. IYKYK!!! Thank you Daria and Karen for this amazing Meal and Memories. Love you both to the moon and back.

Pho Anh Vu is deeeeeelicious!!! There is a bit of a wait for a table, but the line moves quickly. FOOD: - Pho dac biet: Broth was hot and so yummy. I got the small, and I could not finish it. I can't imagine how big the L or XL would be. - Bun bo hue dac biet: actually spicy. Have you ever gotten a bowl of BBH and been disappointed in the (lack of) spice? There are additional chilies on the side if you want to add more. The food is pricier compared to other Vietnamese restaurants in Toronto, but the quality is worth the price. Highly recommend!

I absolutely looove Pho Anh Vu. It's my favourite spot to get pho in Toronto! The broth is on the oily side but full of flavour. I can tell their beef is really good quality too, it's so soft (I always get the rare beef). They also provide enough cilantro which is a requirement for me. Overall 10/10! It can get busy so expect a wait during peak hours.

My personal favourite Vietnamese restaurant in the GTA. Please message me if you think you know a better place, because I would like to try it. I am planning to go back here the first chance I get because my first visit blew me away. The best Bun Bo Hue that I have ever had. The phó that my girlfriend had was equally exceptional. I found that the majority of their clientele are Vietnamese. In fact, the hostess working the waitlistat the door hardly spoke any English. One of the patrons waiting in line had to help me with translating. I'm flattered that she spoke to me in Vietnamese. Never before has anyone assumed that I would just know Vietnamese. I don't... but I wish I did. Yummmmmm! So F'ing good.

Wow. Just wow. The noodles. The broth. The portion. No wonder this place is so busy. And so happy they opened one in Richmond hill now! More Accessible for me!!

From the outside it looks like a regular plaza restaurant, was a little frightened away by one of the guys in the back of the kitchen sitting with the door open picking his nose. But I never let that get in the way of a good food recommendation. I am glad I stayed. The food here was phenomenal! I've had pho all over and have to say they had some of the best tasting beef I've had in pho. It was tender and juicy and not super thin but had a quality taste. The interior is nice and clean, it was moderately busy but the service was quick and they had a lot of people working. The space is surprisingly bigger than it looks from the outside. I would deff recommend, we will be back.

#18 - we asked to add beef muscle. Yum.

This place was introduced by a person who recently immigrated from Vietnam as one of the most authentic Vietnamese restaurants in the GTA. Today we had a chance to try this place! Surprised - when we arrived around 11:30 (Civic Holiday long weekend, Sunday) - there were many, many people lining up outside for table - couples, large families, individuals, all sorts of people. I saw a restaurant staff checking in with waiting customers in the Vietnamese language. Assuring. We were given the number "16" and told that the wait time would be about 20 mins. I was happy to wait to discover what was making people line up! 20 mins in, yes, we got a table. We were glad to be served a cold tea - as we were going to have hot soup noodles! We had #1. GỎI TÔM CUỐN (Shrimp Rolls) #10. CÁNH GÀ CHIÊN NƯỚC MẮM VỚI XÔI (Fish Sauce Fried Chicken Wings w/ Sticky Rice) #18. PHỞ TÁI NẠM (Rare Beef & Well Done Flank Rice Noodle Soup) WITH Bap Hoa Bo (Rare beef muscle) #S4. BÚN BÒ HUẾ ĐẶC BIỆT (Hue Style Beef Special, Crab Cake, Homemade Sausage, Rare Beef with Vermicelli Soup, Beef Shank, Ham Lock - available only weekend!) The beef pho(#18): we initially wanted only rare beef and well-done flank. But when we saw #21 Pho Bap Hoa Bo (Pho with rare beef muscles) on the menu, we asked if we can add Bap Hoa Bo (rare beef muscles) to #18. The server pleasantly agreed and they made the special Pho with rare beef, well-done flank, and rare beef muscles! We ate rare beef muscles in Pho for the first time - so super tender - sooo happy to try this meat part! Rare beef and flank were also super tender. The noodle had a good texture. Not too soft, just perfect. The broth was clear and smooth. #S4 BÚN BÒ HUẾ ĐẶC BIỆT: it was something that has been raved by many reviewers. At first, we were hesitant, as we never ate pig blood - but so glad that we tried this! We also worried that it may be too heavy (mentioned by others) - but I did not feel that way. It came with a lot of fresh vegetable toppings (shredded red cabbage, bean sprouts, mint, and julienned banana leaves). The banana leaves added extra fresh crispiness and a subtly sweet flavor and aroma to the dish. I actually enjoyed those vegetables. They used thicker round noodles that are well entangled in the spicy strong soup. I expected the soup to be a bit spicier, but the soup was balanced and did not feel lacking just because of my preference for spiciness. I loved the richness (texture, number of vegetables and meat items, etc) of this noodle soup - no wonder it is a weekend special! #10 The chicken wings were also impressive. The menu cautioned that it takes 20 mins to make it. We didn't mind! 20 mins in, the chicken wings arrived freshly fried - and the taste was something that I never experienced anywhere before. The chicken was deeply marinated with fish sauce, and coated with crispy caramelized honey-ly garlic sauce, giving it a great balance of salt & sweetness. They were also hot and juicy. Be prepared to lick your fingers :). They came with a small coconut-flavored sticky rice ball sprinkled with fried onion and chopped green onions. It served as a great palate-cleansing when eating the strongly flavored wings. They have a BBQ sauce option for chicking wings, but I highly recommend that you choose this Fish sauce flavor. Service was quick. The servers answered very politely and friendlily to our questions about the menu. We were so full when we were leaving. But when we saw a lady who was eating PHỞ SƯỜN BÒ XÍ QUÁCH (pho with simmered rib meat with bone), biting into the giant beef rib with bone - we wished we had another stomach to try this! We have no choice than coming back for this!

This is one of my absolute favourite Vietnamese restaurant of all time! This is saying a lot since I am Vietnamese and have tasted Vietnamese food from all over the world, including Vietnam. My relatives have told me that the chefs actually trained in Vietnam, so they are more elevated than your typical mom and pop Vietnamese restaurants. They also use high quality ingredients, like tenderloin in their pho. Many dishes are regional specialties that you will not find at most restaurants either. Do try the weekend specials! Highly, highly recommended!

This is my new favorite place for bun bo hué! Although many places claim to do this infamous noodle soup well, this place actually does. Bravo! All the right toppings for my soup plus the sliced garlic and chili condiment were just à few things that set this place apart from the rest. I barely had a chance to sample my husband's pho broth because I was so engrossed in perfecting each bites of my bun bo hué with the chili and garlic slivers. I can't wait to go back and try their other offering!

FIVE STARS! Customer service and food are absolutely amazing. This place is so hidden in a plaza just right outside of yorkdale mall. I would've never discovered this at all. We ordered the famous chicken wings ($14) which were AMAZINGLY Good, the way they season it and the crunch and fish sauce... tastes Soo good. Highly recommended you try this dish out if you are there. However keep in mind, wait time is (20mins) for them. If you time get them. Next, we ordered the pho special and chicken w fried egg on broken rice. Both of these dishes were delicious. The broth was Soo good and the chicken was seasoned really well. I absolutely would come back and highly recommended anyone looking for authentic viet food.

Randomly on my IG explore page I saw a heaping bowl of bun bo hue and realised I needed to visit. And since then...we'll I've been coming every two weeks. Line ups are seen during weekends but service is fast and the kitchen is such a oiled supply chain. Come for the bun bo hue, weekends have the BBH dac biet with more meat and you'll probably won't go anywhere else. They have pig blood - And through covid times, pig blood is a luxury as many places have skimped back on this. It's the tender brisket, the house made chalua that make this bowl so delicious. The soup is mild and to die for.

They specialize in meat platters where you can create DIY fresh rolls. The platters come with lettuce, mints, vermicelli, rice paper and house special sauce. They also have pho, rice, and vermicelli dishes as well. Washrooms are located downstairs which are not accessible. They only accept cash (with a 10% cash discount) or debit. I previously have had Anh Dao for take out before - their pork sausages (nem nuong) are delicious and perfect when you wrap them with vermicelli and fresh herbs. Even when I got take out, the restaurant gives you plenty of fresh ingredients to create your own fresh rolls. I recently went to Anh Dao for lunch to dine in at the restaurant on a Friday around 12:30pm. The place was pretty quiet as it seemed like I was their first customer that day. During my time there, there was another party of 2 that also came in to eat lunch. I opted for the house special soup pho ($19.95). Service was friendly and my food came at a reasonable time after I ordered. The house special pho included slice rare beef, beef brisket, beef balls, and tripe. The soup was slightly sweet with a nuttier flavour. The noodles were unfortunately not the fresh kind but there were ample beef ingredients in the bowl of pho for the price you are paying. I love how in addition to siracha and hoisin sauce, there is also ground up chili sauce as well as a pickled sliced garlic and jalapeno pepper mixture at the table. Moreover, you get bean spouts, a red chili pepper, fresh herbs, and lime that you can add to your pho broth. Overall, a tasty bowl of pho where the quality of the beef was good. Anh Dao is a tasty option for Vietnamese food in the College and Spadina area. Definitely do try their meat platters as they are quite delicious!
