I never got my drink I ordered and every time I made a effort to get the attention of my servior he was busy attending someone else.. The service is extremely slow here even when there were only 2 customers in here. They constantly mixed up orders for "to go customers" as well as "eat in customers". We waited for our food for a long time after ordering. Getting a refill on a soda was about 15 minutes. They took another 15 minutes to charge our card for the food. If you're in a rush, do not come here, you'll be waiting a long time. Food was bland and needed tons of sauce and other add ons for it to taste decent. read more

Cold weather outside = Pho soup , and everyone can agree with all the different locations popping up locally, it's gets a little complicated which restaurant to choose. Tonight it was here. My hubby picked up my order to go because I was at home sick. My concern with ordering to go was if the Tri Tip meats would cook throughly, well problem was solved because they offered pre cooked slices too. I was one happy woman when he walked in with my soup. They separate the broth and all the toppings are in a separate bag. In the bag they provided noodles ,bean sprouts , mint leaves , jalapenos , fish paste , soy sauce, lemon wedge and when you combine all of that , you'll have a tasty soup. This place is in a great location right next to the 99 Asian Market off McKinley St. Plenty of parking. Just be careful of the pedestrians! They'll walk right in front of a moving car.... read more

This place is hit or miss for me. Sometimes the pho tastes ok, other times it's mehhhh. Definitely not the best pho place out there or in the Corona area. The chicken wings have flavor but when I ordered them, they were extremely oily and had a piece of hair! No apology was made either. I'm pretty sure if it was located in a less busy plaza, no one would make the effort to eat here. That statement is completely true for me. The thing Pho Anam has going for them is location. That's it. I personally would rather make the drive to Pho Amor. I've never been let down there! read more

I moved to Corona earlier this year from Hawaii and I've got to tell you, in the inland Empire, finding really good Asian food is a true challenge. It's even more challenging finding a certain type of Vietnamese restaurant that serves eggrolls that do not incorporate shrimp into them. Imagine how happy I was to find Pho Anam with their wonderful vegetarian eggrolls? The place has been a saving grace for me whenever I got my hunger on for Vietnamese food. The Pho is wonderful too. Is it as good as the Pho you can find on Westminster in orange county? No. Is it acceptable for the inland Empire? Absolutely! The beef always seem fresh as well as the broth clean and tasty. Even the tripe tastes wonderful with no game-eeness to it. The service is always timely and friendly and the food is prepared quickly. No doubt I will be back fairly regularly. I just wish the excepted American Express so I could bring my work team here more often. read more

I am not a big fan of pho honestly but I do crave them once in awhile. This restaurant is located in this big, busy plaza with all the major shops like Costco, 99 Ranch Market, McDonalds and more. It is pretty small but i believe there is at least 12-13 tables. Menu is very precise and has all them major vietamese dishes. I usually get fried rice and their fried rice was pretty good. Not to mention, their portion is very large. I think I have to eat it for breakfast. lunch and dinner to finish my fried rice. However, its extremely greasy. I togoed my leftover to eat it later and I discovered it was just pure OIL on the bottom of the container. It was drenched! Pho tai is alright. Large is not that much. its more like a medium. My boyfriend likes it. Their service is really slow and bad. This waitress girl has an attitude and she gave me the most ignorant and dirty look ever for asking for the togo box four times. She is the one who forgot & didnt bring it to me right away, why would she get ticked off by that? Pho Anam has gotten it right; not once not twice but 3 times... This place consistently deliver the perfect bowl of Pho. Let me tell you something about Pho. Pho 101; soup needs to be HOTT!!! broth is soo good and the meat is fresh and the noodle are perfect... I personally has had Pho all over the west coast as far as Vancouver Canada to San Diego. Me & the family had just moved into this area of Riverside. And this place has sky rocketed to the top 3 Pho place on our list. The Super bowl is rediculous. I have yet to conquer this bowl. Because of the double meat serving. Our 3 kids love the well done brisket soup. And their Pork Summer rolls is one of the best I've had. The down side is the sauce. This place is very cozy. Nice simple layout. The food was great. I had grilled pork vermicelli and egg rolls. Poured the sweet sauce over it, added the garlic chili paste and enjoyed my lunch with my parents. Also had ice coffee to curve the food coma. He was rude because he not just interrupted us, but he also was talking down to his coworker in front of customers. There were definitely underlying tensions, but the girl was nice enough. I have been a devoted fan of another pho restaurant for years so I was not interested in trying a new place... fast forward to quarantine and having a craving for pho. This place happened to be opened for pick up so I gave it a try and was so pleased. Their broth is full of flavor and the proteins and veggies are fresh. I have since gone back a couple of times because they are able to pack up and cook a meal that taste delicious at home just like the restaurant also the people that work there are super nice and friendly. Today was my fourth time going to this restaurant and every single time me and my wife are get the bo me. It's had become my favorite dish at this restaurant especially in the summer. You get a beautiful sizzling plate of food with a nice suffer of salad make it so refreshing. The food taste great and very very appetizing. The salad taste great. The steak is the perfect thickness sauce is just so savory. My only complaint is that the owner needs to make it more known that it's not just pho that they serve. I think if they have a banner or something else stating that they have other dishes and not just pho I believe they would have more customers.. Not my favorite. Blah pho....The soup pho didn't have very much flavor. The chicken in the vermicelli bowl came to the table over cooked and dry to which the server suggested dousing it with the complementary fish sauce. The garlic butter wings were tasty. The waitstaff were friendly, service was pretty quick, and the restaurant was small with a cozy feel to it. Over all I found this to be a waste of time and money. I am a huge fan of pork vermicelli/bun. I've ordered to go on several occasions. And every single time, I run into 1 of 2 problems. They will serve you grilled fat (no meat attached). Or you will get only scraps of meat. On one occasion there was literally no meat, just grilled fat. Not right. Do you guys try to save money on to go orders, since people probably won't return to complain? This happens just about every time. So I will not be returning. read more

Hmmmmm..... The noodles were pretty fresh...and the egg rolls were really tasty, served with fresh red leaf lettuce. Wrapped in the lettuce, dipped in fish sauce, it was really good. But, both times consecutively, my pho broth wasn't piping hot. 9 out of 10 times, when I eat pho, I'm hungover as hell and I'm trying to get cured... If the pho is really good, I immediately feel better...if not... I just feel full after eating half of it and walk away, still feeling hungover. I know it's a weird way of judging how good the pho is....but it's kind of the rule of thumb with all my Asian friends. The very first thing I do when I get my soup is pick up my spoon and taste the broth. The flavors of the broth were okay...and like I said, it was significantly less hot than what a good bowl of broth temperature should have been. Once I taste the soup, there should be a feeling of warm relief you can't get snywhere else. The oil you get from boiling the beef bones combined with the insanely hot temperature of the soup....is unfathomable, but it kicks you into "ahh I already feel better" mode. I didn't really get that and forced my self to eat. I'll probably give it another try when I'm feeling pho. read more

I was a regular here for a few years and looked forward to my visits. The food has been pretty solid in my opinion, and the portions good as well. One of the things I have really come to appreciate, and expect, about Vietnamese restaurants over the years is that the service is generally top notch and they get you in and out in a very timely manner. However, this restaurant has not upheld that service expectation in recent years.
