Food is great, the broth is super flavorful. The only thing is that this location is located in an odd neighborhood and the ventilation is really bad. The first thing you smell is old oil. We tried to order egg rolls as an appetizer but they were sold out. We came in half hour after they opened so I thought that was odd. My sister can't have rice noodles and typically pho places are able to substitute it with egg noodle but they sold out of egg noodles as well. Overall, their pho is good but we will not be coming back to this location. There's another location in Garden Grove area that is better. The only reason why we came to this one is because on Yelp, it's showed that this location is permanently closed. But, we drove by and we see people dinning in. I will definitely go back to the Garden Grove location the next time I'm in the area.

Delicious but worth $18 for a bowl of pho? I do appreciate a clean and bright restaurant but the sauce bottles were sticky. The strangest part was when the owner made a 15min phone call on full blast speaker for everyone to hear. After that experience, I am Surprised by the rave reviews. I doubt I'll come back.

It's like going over to the house of the token family chef without an invite but it's worth the risk for that soul saving Pho soup and yes, it's really all Wagyu!! Pho Akaushi Combo 10/10 ~$18 -first timer so gotta get the combo to try it all but I fear that after indulging, the combo is all I'll ever try bc it's all I'll ever need -meatballs and tender cubes, lean slices, fatty pieces of WAGYU swimming in a succulently supple broth with ribbons of bouncy noodles customized to ur preference of limey, tangy, spicy, hint of hoisin sweetness and bites of crunchy bean sprouts and fresh minty and leafy veggies -they've mastered the slowly simmered savory yet clean and slurpable broth and the offering of Wagyu only is delectable and elegant Spring rolls 8/10 -classic can't go wrong maybe I just prefer a bit more fish sauce in the meat -the crunch is loud and + for the bright fish sauce that comes w it The food is delightful but so is the service and the people. Came in with w my brother and parents and left with full bellies and full hearts thanks to Tom and crew. Thanks for the lunch time smiles and stories - we will travel from the valley for good food and even better business/people any time!

I'm used to traditional broths for pho, but Pho Akaushi's Wagyu is a game changer! The Wagyu does so much to the pho's flavor. It adds more of a umami flavor to the broth which is savory and sweet. It's something I'm not used to but was really delicious. The Wagyu itself was sooo good! The cuts of meat were tender and melted in my mouth. They give you a solid amount of meat, but I still should've ordered extra Wagyu, it's amazing. Service was nice too, the owner came up to me and chatted with me a bit, even offering a sample of some coffee he'd been working on. The people here seem very sweet and hard working - they definitely deserve your business!

Tampa family exploring Santa Ana and we stumbled across this gem. If you're looking for a quaint setting with big flavors this is the place!!! Eggrolls were spot on like there's a Vietnamese grandma in the back rolling them. So delicious!! Our party of 4 were sat immediately and food came out promptly service was perfect. We had the combination pho the brisket pho and the wagyu fried rice everything exceeded our expectations. Delicious flavors across the board!!

As an immigrated Vietnamese, it's hard to find a good pho place here but I'm glad I have discovered this place where the broth is very similar to my home country. The broth is packed with flavors. Meat was soft and tender. I also ordered fried rice and it tasted exactly like how my dad makes it. So glad this place is close to where I live. Good food and super friendly customer service. But it breaks my heart to see a good pho place is empty on a Saturday night. Please come support this sweet old couple if you guys ever want to try some good pho. A side note is that they are open, but it might be hard to find their location since their restaurant's name isn't light up for some reasons. But they are right next to Khaosan Thai.

Really glad I stopped by this shop. The interior was nice and cozy. All the tables and utensils were clean. The service was exceptional in regard to how pleasant and quick it was to order and receive my food in a timely manner. The broth was really good and fatty. It's because of the wagyu beef they're using. I'm usually not into wagyu gimmicks but this restaurant made sure the Wagyu was properly used in their dishes and not just as some flashy name to upscale their prices. The restroom they have for customers was very clean as well. Everything was fully stocked. Soap, toilet paper, towels. I bet if I took some home with me, they wouldn't notice. The owner Tom was great at checking in with his diners and treating them like friends and family.

First of all do your Yelp check-in to get a discount on combo pho which was delicious. The broth was probably one of the best we have had. Note to self do not come to a pho place and order a salad. The warm steak on top of the salad just wilted the salad ~ steak was tasty but would definitely pass on this dish. Also my salad arrived when everyone was almost done eating their pho. I would have taken a pic of the pho but my son finished the bowl !

Words cannot describe how delicious the pho at Pho Akaushi is. The meat that they use is so tender and you can tell they take great care in the quality of the meat! On top of delicious pho, the service is great! The owners are so kind! I will definitely be returning for more pho!

This little hole in the wall did not disappoint. Had the #1 Combo best quality meat of any Pho place for sure. Large portions. Service is fast and friendly. Every is clean but nothing special for the atmosphere but who cares when you're getting great food. I've Coffee was rich and delicious.

Friday night, and it is cold outside. What a special treat for me to enjoy a hot savory bowl of pho. Good consistent flavorful broth, well-balanced season and not salty at all. Also ordered 3 bowls to go as a special TGIF treat for my wife and family.

Please come to pho Akashi. The food is so delicious and good. It's real Vietnamese food. They only use Wagyu beef. Thank you so much! They have good service. And it feels really comfortable.Thank you!

What a find! The beef was so tender and flavorful: I got the beef cubes which is actually succulent beef on bone and it falls off like butter. Staff was super attentive and friendly. Water was jasmine - infused which made my daughter happy. Broth was first - class. They use wagyu beef for their soups and the flavor shows it. Wait time was short. Will go again!

Hi, I grew up in LF and have been to the two prior pho restaurants. How long have you been opened? How is it that you have so many reviews in less than 1-year? Even more than other restaurants that's been opened for +5-years. Curious, but will try.

They are assertive in their hospitality. Owner makes it a point to greet and talk with customers as they wait for their food. At one sitting and chat session with the owner, you can learn many things. What I learned: where he gets his beef and a…

Is this restaurant still open? I only see hours open on Sunday

Yes, we will be open tomorrow, regular hr = 10:30-8:00 pm

Yes, they do and require masks until sat at your table for guests.

I got the classic Roodle and as soon as I put all the ingredients into the broth, they swung by and collected empty dishes immediately. The portion was large and ingredients fresh. I enjoyed the variety and the amount of rice noodle. The broth was salty and refreshing. They have some side sauces to adjust the flavor, but I found myself not needing it. I ordered their most popular dish, the A1 set, but honestly, it didn't really live up to the hype for me. The broth tasted pretty underseasoned overall. From what I understood, you're supposed to mix all the toppings into the soup with the noodles, but even after doing that, I still felt like the flavor was lacking. Yes, they provide seasoning on the side, but personally, I wish the broth already had enough flavor on its own without needing to adjust it myself. Would I come back? Probably not. Nothing really stood out to me enough to return, and it felt more like a one-time experience. Overall, everything was just okay.

The staff gave me the impression we could be seated right away but I had to still wait over 20mins given other reservations ahead of us. Easily a one hour plus wait on a busy day as there isn't a ton of seating. Where I took off majority of my rating was the ratio of price to meat. After tip and tax, we neared the $100 range for 2 people, and this was without any additional sides. We had the prime ribeye, pork, and salmon, all at 5oz and roughly in the 10 slices range per plate. Comes with standard veggies and a few bites of udon/vermicelli. The quality was fine, but I just feel like I could get more at this price range at other places for just about the same quality range. Not to mention the experience itself is quite bland and standard, without much ambiance. I don't think I would personally be back.

The restaurant is located in a large shopping plaza. Although I wouldn't say there's plenty of parking, I was able to find a spot without much trouble. But surprisingly, the wait wasn't that long, and we were seated much faster than I expected. Once we sat down and looked at the menu, I was already impressed! I loved both the variety of dishes and the prices. There were so many things I wanted to try, but I decided to save some for future visits. Haha. We ordered the Xiao Long Bao (soup dumplings), a noodle dish, the Beef Roll, and the Scallion Pancake. The food came out pretty quickly, and we started trying everything one by one. OMG. Everything was SO GOOD!! Honestly, every single dish exceeded my expectations. Everything tasted fresh, flavorful, and well-prepared. The Beef Roll was especially impressive because it had more beef inside than the ones I've tried at other restaurants. The Xiao Long Bao was juicy, flavorful, and absolutely delicious! The Scallion Pancake was perfectly crispy on the outside, with that wonderful savory flavor. And the noodles! I can't remember the exact name, but I think it had "Golden" in it? Haha. It had a unique flavor that I'd never experienced before, with a little spicy kick. Even though it was spicy, it was so delicious that I couldn't stop eating until the bowl was completely empty! While we were eating, I suddenly thought about my family at home, so I ordered another Beef Roll to go. And here's another thing that really impressed me: **THE SERVICE!** The employee who helped us with the bill was incredibly friendly and pleasant. I was genuinely happy to leave a tip because the service was that good! But what happened afterward impressed me even more. After paying, I went to use the restroom. The hallway leading to it was somewhat narrow, and whenever I passed an employee, they politely stepped aside to let me through first. It might seem like a small gesture, but I really appreciated it. It felt like treating customers with kindness and respect was simply second nature to everyone working there. Great food, wonderful service, AND reasonable prices? What more could I ask for?! Honestly, **why would I go to Din Tai Fung when I have 7 Grams?!** Haha! From now on, whenever I'm craving Xiao Long Bao, 7 Grams will be my first choice! And I definitely have to come back because the dishes I saw on other tables looked absolutely delicious, too. There are still so many things I want to try! **7 Grams, you've officially won me over!**
