I used to go to this place quite often when I was young. It's been around for a long time and I always enjoyed going here. Their Pho as you may have guessed is what they're known for and they have drinks as well but other than that, just pho and drinks. Unfortunately they don't offer any condiments besides sriracha and hoisin sauce. There's no fish sauce, no soy sauce, no hot chili oil, nothing. I asked for these condiments and they said they don't have them in stock, ever. They offered me salt. I asked for extra lime to try and make the pho somewhat edible. I know you're not supposed to add anything to the broth but this broth was so bland. No hints of cinnamon or cardamom. Just no flavor. The iced coffee was decent but they give so little. read more

A simple and straightforward restaurant that serves only Pho. That's mostly a good thing. Since they only serve this, they're pretty good at it too. The food is always very delicious with generous portion sizes. It's a good fast place to get your Pho fix. For better or worse, they really only serve Pho. Straight to the point Pho! I've been searching for a good Pho spot in the Northeast and this is where I end my search. I ordered delivery so I can't give too much about the inside. The care that they put into packing all of the ingredients made me feel like I didn't even skip the restaurant. I ordered chicken Pho and it exceeded my expectations. The broth was good, great portions, good price, but a lil lackin on the jalapenos (but my personal preference). The restaurant has plenty of seatings, and there are a lot of windows lighting up the place. The service is quick. You order, and the food comes out within minutes. I tried to place an order for two pho bo vien to pick up, and the person who I was on the phone with hung up on me twice. First, I asked what the total would be and was told that I placed an order for four pho bo vien... then, he hung up. I called back the second time and asked for clarification, but I was hung up on again. I'm not sure if he thought I had an attitude or if he could not understand me, but I usually try my best to be patient and resolve whatever problems may be perceived. I came here with friends on a Friday afternoon. The place was spacious and the area was empty. The server led to us to our seats, took our orders and served us our food. The pho was the good amount for the price. The ratio of noodles, meat and broth was pretty good. The broth itself was a bit saltier than normal, but I actually liked the broth like that since I do like saltier foods. This place only takes cash, just to let people know in advance. This place is hidden gem in a little plaza. It only serves pho and that is what they do best. The menu is easy to read and I love the #12 pho chin nac. This is only leanest cuts of meat and no tripe. The small is perfect for me and priced so well at $7.75. Broth is really deep and all the veggies sprouts mint and peppers really makes it taste so fresh. This is very authentic and service is soo fast here. The drinks are also tasty. Try the Vietnamese ice coffee. It's so strong but sweet. Overall great bowl of deeply flavorful soup. Pho 75 has multiple locations in Philadelphia and I have also tried the one in the city on Washington ave. The place- pretty clean, lots of tables, and the service is fast. Plenty of parking in the lot. The food- I had the chicken pho multiple times here and I always thought it was good. Broth is tasty, noodles are cooked just right and there is plenty of green onions/cilantro toppings. This place serves white meat pho. (It's good but if you like dark meat chicken pho, you should try the Washington ave pho 75 instead). Only down side is that this place closes early! Like 8 pm. Very sad when you are looking for a late dinner. But otherwise definitely one of my to go place for pho. read more

I don't recommend many pho restaurants because most places just can't compare to homemade pho. I was very surprised with this restaurant. My husband usually eats here if he is working in the area and he said it was pretty good. I decided to go try with him and was amazed! The broth is superb, perfect complexity and seasonings. They give a ton of meat with each order and prices are fair. We ordered takeout (thanks COVID pandemic) a couple weeks ago because I just didn't feel like cooking and they did a great job of packing everything. If you order take out, be sure to ask for the noodles to be uncooked (just do a quick blanch when you are ready to eat) and everything separate. It will taste much better that way at home. I gave Pho 75 another chance despite their poor customer service in recent times. After today's experience, I will never go back, or recommend that anyone goes there, especially if you care about safety. Our server (male) was gruff with a poor attitude and didn't communicate that he understood that we wanted extra noodles for one of the pho bowls. He didn't take down drink orders. This server seemed irritable and had no care. Another male employee came by with the 3 bowls of large pho. He didn't take the time to make sure that there was room on the table, and was gruff with dropping off the first bowl of pho. My sister and I were quickly scrambling to make room for him. When he dropped off the bowl of pho, he knocked several cups of HOT tea, which spilled onto my sister's lap. This man did not apologize and just looked as we were scrambling to wipe down the area. He proceeded to drop off the remaining 2 bowls of pho haphazardly. In hindsight, this employee should have placed the bowls onto another table, and carefully placed the bowls onto our table. That's what usually happens at any other respectable restaurant. Wow. Seriously? You knock hot tea onto a customer and don't say anything? I was furious. If my sister wasn't young and able, this person could have caused serious injury, especially towards children or the elderly or someone with special needs. I went over to talk to the manager up front. He was nonchalent and gave some ointment that wouldn't have helped. We had our own ointment. I told him about the situation, and he didn't budge. Then, about 10 minutes later, he brings over the employee in what I thought would be an apology. However, this employee starts saying how our hands were in the way, etc, etc. This employee did something wrong, and rather than apologize, keeps making excuses. Are you serious?? We start talking and re-explaining what happened and about the poor customer service and attitude all-around. Because it's causing a commotion, and other tables are looking, the manager and employee leave our table. We paid for our meal, and left. The manager does not know how to run this restaurant. Mind you, we were long time customers growing up. Is that seriously how you treat some of your longest customers? Regarding the food, the pho broth is what used to be special for Pho 75. The pho has gone downhill. The pho broth is nothing special, and is bland. The noodles are also mushy and not cooked well. They also add a lot of MSG in their noodles. Later in the day, I had a headache from the MSG. With the awful service and lackluster food, I recommend that you AVOID this restaurant. There are plenty of other Vietnamese restaurants that are much better both in terms of food and service. read more

In full disclosure, I have nothing to compare this Pho against; this was my first time. But, for a first time, it was good. Positives: Food came out FAST. In fact, our entire lunch process was lickety split. The ordering took seconds, (we all got a large #12) and since I'm not sure they spoke much english there, it was probably for the best. They brought water (didn't ask what we wanted to drink....I assume there weren't other options?) and our food came immediately after. The food itself was delicious and the serving size was more than adequate. Negatives: That area is ground zero for Pho. There are literally a half a dozen Pho spots within walking distance. In fact, we went to THREE, trying to find this particular one. Pho 75 seems more like a local spot as it was a bit more no frills than some of the others. Also, there may be a language barrier if you don't speak Vietnamese. I'm not sure how much English THEY speak, as I didn't hear a single english word my entire time there. I can't speak to price, as I was being treated to lunch, but I think it came out to less than $10 per person for lunch. Not a BAD price. I would definitely go back, but I think I might try one of the other 47 places to have something to compare it to. read more

Been going to this place for years. On 3-28-22 4pm went there for some soup to support this location from the other place down the street called pho ha saigon 575 adams ave. which is busier.. ordered a large soup with extra jalapinio peppers like aways. When i went to pay for it they charged me $14.53 i asked why it cost more and the veitnamise male waiter cashier said i was charged $2.50 for jalapino pepers and showed me the menu in vetnamise that its $2.50 for extra toppings. And tryed to educate me in a loud voice that everything is expensive now. I am in my 50's.. I almost cursed his ass out but kept my mouth shut. No other viet resturants charge for peppers. In a little bowl that would cost about 25 cents. I tought the exrta toppings is for meats or noddles. Not for peppers. I was a faithful customer for over 20 years at this location and washington ave and race st until they closed up in chinatown. Never they charged me for extra pepers. Until today. I usually give more in tips but I ended up giving a $1.00 tip. because i was charged $2.50 plus tax on peppers. Maybe they will charge extra if you use too much saracha sause in the future.
