I was really pleased with my experience at Pho 7. Parking in the lot was a breeze. Plenty of space to park and walk over to the restaurant. We got a table right away even with a group of 6 people. The ambience was calm, and casual, but with a clean and modern feel. It felt like a place you could stay awhile for a long lunch. The menu was big but I had to try the Pho. I was deciding between the P1 and P2 and went with the P1. Both options looked great though. The craziest park was the incredible portion. A decent pho place right near the Spring Hill metro station. The prices are a little high, but you expect that in the Tyson's area. I got a P1 for pho. The broth was really good and filled almost to the top of my bowl. I drank some soup before putting in the bean sprouts to make room for mixing. There aren't many options for Vietnamese food in the Tyson's area so if you are looking for pho nearby, this is probably the better place to go. Pho is broth is on the lighter end so if you like it clean and light, this is your place. It is pretty pricey but understandable since the location is quite convenient with parking. My favorite dish here would be the Grilled Pork over rice. This is one of the places where they actually use a grill to grill it versus a lot of other places that just pan fry it. I got the large number 1, which is the beef pho with the round eye steak, brisket, and meatballs. The steak and brisket were rather standard and the meatball chunks were not good. I even put that plum sauce in hopes it'll taste better, but yuck... so dense, difficult to eat. The broth was flavorful to some extent, and the noodle amount in the large bowl was less than small bowls I've had at other places. No standard bowl on the menu with the tripe and other cow parts. Very neat, roomy and airy dining area with some booths to the right. The location is just off the main path in the shopping plaza. Was greeted warmly upon entering and promptly seated. Granted I was much more hangry the first visit but the broth delivers! I could not resist topping off my almost complete bowl with a SECOND order of broth. I do not know if the waiter was pulling my leg but he pointed to this older gentleman and said he was the originator for their authentic recipe for broth. It reminds me there are people behind the continuity of good things in this world like a proper pho broth. The second visit solidifies this place as a contender for Pho in the area. I would not want to reveal their secrets for their broth but I suspect it has something to do with an extended method to extract the good oil and fat from the bones which makes the broth that much more piping hot when it is served. If I can rate this place a 0 I would. I came here in hopes of eating at a good pho place as I was passing through Route 7 with my family heading towards 267 West. There was a HAIR in my soup and I immediately notified the manager. They took the soup to the kitchen and brought it back saying there is nothing they can do about it since I already started eating it.... What in the world??? How am I supposed to know there is a hair in my soup without starting to eat it?!? Again the guy with the blonde hair was being very disrespectful and kept saying there is nothing I can do about it. We've known this restaurant was here for many years, just never got around to trying it until this week. It's tucked away around the corner from Starbucks, and has inviting decor. We tried the fish sauce chicken wings, bun bo hue, and vermicelli bowl. The wings were very good- hot and crispy even with sauce all over it. Down side - too much sauce and the sauce was too glutinous. The wings also all had this dark color near the bones, a sign of quality or freshness? The vermicelli bowl was your typical, nothing to comment on. The BBH was not BBH. It wasn't like some places who simply use pho broth; this one was overly oily. I can't believe how long it's taken me to try this place. I love Vietnamese and have struggled to find really good pho since I decided that I could no longer stomach Pho 75's poor health inspections and generally dirty restaurants. So far I've had the fresh rolls, grilled pork vermicelli bowl and pho. All are delicious and the cuts if meat are lean and high quality. The restaurant is very clean and the service is a standout from nearly every other Vietnamese restaurant I've visited. I like that I can get a devil's backbone Vienna lager too. And when you consider how down I was on this place already, you know this broth must have been phenomenal for me to not have been like, "It's just okay, let's stick with our usual place and never try anything new ever again. EVER AGAIN." Having meatballs in my pho was an odd experience but the meatballs were REALLY good. Also, there is SECRET TENDON in the pho. I loved this because tendon is one of my favorite meat additions to pho. (My boyfriend was less thrilled about the sneaky tendon, though, so be aware if you don't love having tendon in your pho.) During a recent shopping trip to the Tysons Corner area, I found Pho 7 in the same strip mall where Orvis and Ranger Surplus are located. Intrigued with the prospects of a new Pho place, I checked them out for lunch. Upon entering I found the place to be very clean, sleek, and modern looking. It had a fresh look to it. I was immediately greeted by restaurant staff and I took a seat. I ordered a large Pho Ga and a water with lime. They first brought out a plate with the usual accoutrements: lime, Jalapeños, bean sprouts, and Basil. The quantity of Jalapeños and bean sprouts was skimpy, and I asked for more. They promptly complied. This was followed by a steaming bowl of Pho Ga. I looked for the bottle of Sriracha and did not see it - so I asked for it. Instead, they provide this small white tray with individual containers of Sriracha and Hoison sauces. I added everything and then tasted the broth. Delicious! A very nice, rich, tasty chicken broth. I wolfed and slurped my way through the entire bowl of Pho Ga, adding Sriracha liberally to bites and I inhaled the meal. Down to the very last drop of broth! Everything was delicious - the chicken was very tender. My only negative comment is that I wish there had been more chicken - which I told them. They let me know all I had to do was ask and they would add more - and to please let them know next time I come in. They've been open for just over a couple of weeks. When I attempted to check in on Yelp - I could not. The Yelp app indicated I was to far away. I then checked the location in the App - the map showed the business much farther to the west of Tysons that it actually was. I submitted an address/location to Yelp - will be interesting to see if they correct the location. I find that Yelp often times misses correcting address/location information - even when submitted to them multiple times! Service was excellent! I highly recommend this place! read more

Excellent Pho! I visited this spot with my best friend per her recommendation. We did take out although their dining room is open for full service. They were practicing social distancing inside. I had the Chicken and she had the Beef. The to go packaging was sustainable. All the meat and veggies were in one container and the broth was separate in a cup. I normally don't give high marks to Pho spots, usually because of a combination of lackluster services, sub-par food quality, cleanliness of the premises, etc. But this place, somehow located in the back of a plaza 5 minutes from Tysons Corner, seems to have addressed all of my concerns. I've been here multiple times, and have been impressed by the options they have on the menu. For entrees, I'll always get the rice and pork chop. Insider fact: most pho places cook the pork chops ahead of time, then when you order, they'll just plop it on the grill to reheat and get grill marks. This place, however, actually cooks your pork chops TO ORDER. INSANE. The chops are SUPER flavorful, and they have never been overcooked for me. They're always nicely charred and juicy - probably my favorite pork chops I've ever had (I haven't had many to be honest though). What really separates the food options here from other pho spots are the appetizers. Specifically, the crispy shrimp and coconut shrimp. The crispy shrimp is cut so that the shrimp flattens out into one long line, then tempura'd and deep fried. I've never seen this at any other pho spot, and it's very good. And the coconut shrimp, I'm a sucker for coconut shrimp, and I've also never seen coconut shrimp at a pho restaurant. It's so satisfying to have coconut shrimp with a Vietnamese meal, and they definitely know how to cook shrimp here. The restaurant itself is pretty nice - very fitting for the Tysons area. Everything looks clean and polished, even the bathrooms. They've done some renovations to upgrade the aesthetic, and I'm glad that they have. The place is decently sized, though I heard it gets PACKED during weekday lunch hours so be wary coming in large groups. It's located in the back of the plaza next to Greensboro station - you won't see it driving by. I'd look for the Crunch Fitness sign, it's right on the corner of it. Pricing is a little higher than other pho spots, but it's definitely worth it. The quality is worth it, not to mention the staff are always super nice. They're on grubhub too, so be sure to take advantage of that if you want this stuff without dining in! Pro Tip: I've talked with the owners about potentially adding a short rib pho to the menu. I stumbled to Pho7 couple months ago. You are always greeted by each server when walking in. They all stop to say 'HELLO', very warm and welcoming.
