Delicious. Just what I needed. I got the chicken pho to go and it came with to go packets of sriracha and hoisin. As well as all the other normal toppings you'd get if you sat there. They also double sealed the soup so it wouldn't spill during travel. And their size small was enough for me to eat twice. read more

The food is pretty good and if I were reviewing just the food alone I'd definitely give a solid 4 stars but because this review is on the total experience I have to only give 3. The service was ok. The table we sat at wasn't cleaned properly. And I cleaned it with a disinfecting wipe I had in my purse. The main reason I wouldn't come back here again is the price point. The chicken chow mein is $17 and a large pho will run you $17-$23. This is a dish mainly made of noodles and broth with minimal protein and we are in Turlock not a big city. We pretty much only ever get the Pho from here. During COVID they offer take out. Their Pho takeout is amazing. They send all the fixings too. I visit this pho spot with my family when I come visit them in Turlock. I'm from Westminster where Little Saigon is located and Vietnamese cuisine is 1 I'm well acquainted with. The pho here is decent, as are the spring rolls, crab puffs, & many other dishes I've tried. The broth is tasty and the serving size is fair. My main complaint here is that when they serve you the pho, the plate of veggies they have is scarce not at all like other pho places I've visited that give you good amounts of bean sprouts, limes, jalapeños, & mint leaves. Honestly , I can't believe they can call that dish orange chicken. it was a whole cooked onion, sauce, and about 3 pieces of "chicken" . Even the 3 pieces of chicken had more bread than meat. I took one bite , my husband took one bite and we left the rest untouched. Didn't even have good flavor. The plate was half filled with white rice. I decided to try out Pho 7 with DoorDash and ordered the grilled chicken rice plate, crab puffs, Fried Calamari, and grilled chicken/shrimp over rice vermicelli noodles. To be honest the food wasn't bad until I opened the Fried Calamari and to my dismay saw overly dry salty calamari to would barely feed my three year old. I tried a piece and it was salty and dry. First and LAST time I come to this place. I'll spare you a long rant and number the things that really pissed me off (For reference I ordered 1 large beef pho and one small beef pho): 1) Once I got there and PAID, they handed me my soups and THEN told me that they ran out of bean sprouts AND Thai basil. So, my gf and I ate veggie-less pho [she was sick so I just took it and left]. 2) The LARGE and SMALL were the SAME SIZE IN TERMS OF PORTIONS. 3) They charge $.75 PER take-out MEAL so I paid an additional $1.50. 4) The broth was like pure water. In conclusion, WORST (and I mean WORST because I've been to dozens of pho spots) pho place ever so do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. How in the Hell does this have 4 stars? The Pho was bland, I had more ribs than meat in my Korean BBQ short ribs, and it took 15 minutes longer than they said over the phone. Pho: It was super bland. The noodle to meat ratio was way off. So much noodles and not enough meat. Korean BBQ Short Ribs: Easily the most disappointed I've ever been with a KBBQ dish. Look at the pic I uploaded. All the stuff on the left is basically ribs with a ring of meat. I didn't eat a single piece before taking the picture. $11 for that is super ridiculous. They should serve Vasolin with this meal because of how much they screw you. To add to all this disappointment, I had to wait. They told me it be ready in twenty and they had me there for 15 extra minutes. Why not say ready in 35 minutes? The place was empty too. Again, I don't know how this place has 4 stars. If you read the reviews with 3 or less stars you'll realize they all say the same thing: Bland Pho and Not Enough Meat. I've also notice, the good reviews aren't based on take out orders. So, I guess they only cheat you out of your money if you can't complain to their face. Very wonderful pho place in Turlock. Waiter was very nice and checked up on us while we ate. Very polite and welcoming service, and didn't hover/overly check up on us as we ate, even though we went when only a couple of people were in the store. I ordered a mini pho with well-done beef brisket and was overall very satisfied with the meal. However, all the pieces of meat had sections of soft, harder to chew, fatty regions, but since I didn't specify what kind of meat I wanted, I think the meal was very reasonable and good. My boyfriend got a regular pho with well-done beef brisket as well and he only got lean pieces, so it might depend on the dish as well. We also got veggie spring rolls, and everything looked fresh and tasted wonderful. The store was also very clean and well-kept, and the bathrooms were clean as well.
