Pho 45 in La Mirada is always worth the visit. When you arrive, you sign in first, but don't let that scare you off -- the wait moves pretty fast. Service is good, friendly, and efficient, and once you're seated the food comes out quickly. The food is very flavorful and consistently good. Everything tastes fresh and well-seasoned, and the portions are solid for the price. Prices are decent, especially for the quality and speed of service. Parking can be a little tricky because the lot is almost always full, but it's located in a shopping center near Stater Bros, so it's manageable if you're patient. Overall, great spot for quick, satisfying pho with good service. Definitely a go-to in La Mirada. read more

I came to Pho 45 and tried the brisket pho, #22 cơm tấm, coconut water, and egg rolls. Everything came out fast--within about five minutes--and the flavors were on point. This is a local favorite for a reason, it's incredible. I visited on a Sunday night and it was pretty poppin as always, but not too long of a wait either (about 10 minutes or so). The service staff is incredibly friendly and attentive, the food comes out quickly (but not too quickly, I'd say 15 minutes or so), and the restaurant seating is comfortable and clean. Overall, great!!! Will be exploring more of the menu soon. read more

What a find! This place is awesome. Crowded enough to add validation of its popularity but not too crowded to intimidate us for adding our names for a party of 8 to the waitlist (it's a physical paper one). Parking is easy since it shares a big lot with Stater Bros and other shops on the strip. It's a pretty decent sized place that takes up two storefronts so the line moved at a decent pace. The pho itself was delicious; $16 for a huge bowl of filet mignon pho. They give you a ton of beef! As a diehard cilantro fan I was thrilled that we were given a HEAPING plate of self-serve cilantro, a separate plate of onions, and a plate of basil and bean sprouts and limes. I've never found another pho place that generous with the separate toppings. Also standout fact: the drinking water is delicious. I don't live in Southern California so I dread the hard mineral taste that I've come to expect from the area, but Pho 45 must use some sort of filter or softener because it's absent of that weird metallic taste! 6 stars if I could. Was quickly seated by the servers and the food came very, very quickly. I liked the spring rolls, they were largely portioned and the peanut sauce was delicious. I got the first combo pho item, which has all different types of meat in it. There was a lot of meat and noodle in my dish, but the broth was not as flavorful as I would've liked. Overall I really loved this location. The vibe was pretty much like a lot of Vietnamese restaurants. The pricey are on par with the market, portions are big and service is fast. You do pay at the counter once you're done (at least while we were there). The menu is pretty standard with various options from pho to rice to noodles. We randomly chose Pho 45 for dinner as we were in the area and craving pho. BEST decision ever because the quality and service here are both top-tier. Their employees are hardworking and very helpful. They brought our bigparty of 9 everything we asked for quickly (plates of raw onions, extra limes, scallion oil, etc) and were not stingy like some other pho restaurants I've been to. Our waters were always filled without us needing to ask the staff. The restaurant was clean and spacious with lots of parking spots in the plaza. I ordered the #2 Pho Tai Fillet Mignon with the rare steak on the side. The meat was soo tender (honestly probably the best meat I've had at a pho restaurant) and they even brought out a little bowl of piping hot soup to cook the raw meat in so the blood doesn't get in your broth. Something to note about this place was that it was lively and completely packed on a Thursday lunch and that got me really excited to see what got people coming. My friend and I both ordered Pho Dac biet and we got cha giờ (egg rolls) to share. What was amazing was the fact that the food took about 5 minutes to come out, which told me that that they're constantly cooking and pumping food out. Pho đặc biệt (5/5): portions were good, noodles were good, broth was good, but what stood out to me was the meat! My standard of quality of meat is usually looking at fat content and at how tender it is, and the meat here is top tier! Everything was done perfectly and it was unbelievably tender. this is my first time eating here and it's really good! food is 10/10 but, as i was eating the basket ( napkins, chopsticks, etc) they drop off in the beginning of my meal had ants all over it. i then told one of the workers about it said dont worry its not a huge deal but i wanted to inform u about this. instead of taking it away from my table he left it. idk i just thought it wasn't professional. i work in the restaurant industry and at a coffee shop. if there's anything to do with bugs u should take it away immediately from the customer. idk this just rubbed me the wrong way but doesn't mean i won't return. the videos i posted don't do it justice because i didn't want to be obvious around other customers lol. the manager i spoke to was very nice. it's just awkward, i wanted a new spot to eat at in the plaza i work in. read more

12/16/2024 - Personally, I think this is one of the best pho restaurants in the area. A bowl of pho here costs $14.99, which I think is reasonable! It may seem like a lot considering how their pho used to cost $9.45 years ago. But I've been to places now that charge $17-20 for pho that doesn't taste nearly as good and sometimes are smaller in portion. We ordered the #1 Pho 45 Dac Biet combo (with rare steak, well done flank, tendon, and tripe) and the #5 Pho Tai Chin (with well done steak and brisket). The pho has good taste overall and comes in a large bowl. They don't skimp out on the meat and the cuts they use are not fatty. We also got the #34 Cha Giao (4-count crispy egg rolls). It came with lettuce you could wrap the egg rolls in and vinegar to dip. It's not necessarily a bad thing, but I did notice that they have more staff working the floor than they need to adequately serve the patrons. That being said, the staff was super attentive and ready within seconds if you needed anything. read more
