    Rare steak pho

We don't live close to this pho restaurant back make an effort to come here if our children have a drs appt (across the street). They are really nice and are warmly greeted upon entering the restaurant. They are very attentive and literally bring you your utensils and water as you're sitting down. I got the pork vermicelli and my fiancé got the #2 rare steak pho. Both dishes were flavorful and filling. This is definitely one of our pho spots!

My partner and I have been coming here for almost 9 years now and it is the best pho I have had in Southern California! Honestly, perhaps anywhere. It is nice and bright inside, comfy, with a lot of tables, and the service is always friendly and attentive. Food comes out fast and is always delicious, every type of pho I've had here has been phenomenal. The vermicelli and the spring rolls are good too! It is our favorite pho spot, and we drive out quite a ways to come eat here, it is that good.

Had a great first time here at Pho 45, I've been meaning to try this place out due to how close by it is and they have pho ga, something I've always wanted to try! They give a LOT of meat, i swear my pho ga was 99% chicken and 1% pho noodles lol! Broth has cilantro + green onions, yum! Their condiment stand has sriracha, hoison sauce, chili oil, and sambal sauce, so you can really mix and match these sauces into your pho and your sliced onions. Service was outstanding- second you step in, you are kindly greeted and get to choose your seat. They bring out your waters, utensils, napkins immediately. They check up on you to make sure you are taken care of if you need anything. 6 out 5 stars for the service, never had this amazing of service like this before at any pho restaurant, major shoutout to the PM crew on 6/9, you guys made our first time experience here AMAZING!

Great food!! I'll be back again

Great service! Came here with my family and enjoyed my first time here, yummy food!! Thank you

8/10 Egg Rolls - These are your classic, reliable pho spot egg rolls. They're fried to a nice crisp and hit all the traditional notes you'd expect. Nothing groundbreaking, but definitely a good, solid appetizer. 8/10 Grilled Pork with Fried Egg - This is a standard, plate of grilled pork and rice. The flavors are exactly what you'd hope for, even if it doesn't necessarily reinvent the dish. It's a safe, tasty bet for a meal. 7/10 Thai Tea - The drink itself is decent, but it's served in a very small cup. For $5.00, I was definitely expecting a larger portion. It tastes fine, but the value for the price is a bit of a letdown. Cost - Eggs rolls (6) $17.00, Grilled Pork with Fried Egg $15.99. All items before tax's and tip.

One of the best pho spots I've been to. Place was packed when I came by so be prepared. Service was amazing from the moment I walked in and greeted right away. I ordered the Pho Chin, which comes with well-done brisket, and it was excellent. No complaints at all, the broth was rich and flavorful, and the spices and sauces provided on the side were the perfect touch. Once you're done, you just head up to pay, which makes the whole experience quick and easy. Overall, a must try if you're in the area and craving a quality bowl of pho. Definitely coming back.

I ordered the brisket pho in this pic (don't mind the photo I use a lot of chili oil and sriracha it comes non spicy :) ) I love love love this spot it's me and my besties go to!!! Their tofu spring rolls and pork spring rolls and the peanut sauce are delicious!! Portions are pretty big. Not the greatest Thai tea, pretty basic but still good. Amazing service as well and fast seating. Very homey vibe :)

Is this owned by the pho 45 In Garden grove also?

I am not sure. You can call them directly and get the right answer.

Do you add sugar to Pho? I am on a Keto diet that requires me no sugars. Appreciate your help

Traditional Pho contains rock sugar. The level of rock sugar also depends if you are eating "north" pho or "southern" pho. Sriracha also has sugar.

I have never left a negative review, but after giving this place a second chance, I feel like this…read moreexperience deserves to be shared. Unfortunately, the service was once again extremely disappointing. My mother politely asked for basil for our pho, which is a very normal condiment to expect with pho. The woman working immediately looked visibly irritated, shook her head, did not acknowledge my mother, and walked away frowning while mumbling something in Korean. It was unnecessarily rude and made us feel uncomfortable for simply asking for something that normally comes with the dish. There was also no one else in the restaurant so it wasn't like she was overwhelmed with request. The pho itself was also disappointing. The broth was bland yet overly salty and lacked the depth, richness, and aromatic flavor you normally expect from pho. The condiments also felt incomplete. For something as simple as asking for basil, the reaction we received made the whole experience even worse. On top of that, there were a lot of mosquitoes inside the restaurant. The woman working actually had a mosquito lamp near her own seat, so it was clearly a known issue, yet nothing seemed to be done to make the dining area more comfortable for customers. My mother and I both left with mosquito bites around our ankles. What makes this especially frustrating is that this was my second attempt at giving this place a chance. During my previous visit with my brother, we were essentially the only customers there, yet it took at least 10 minutes for someone to take our order. Our order was then incorrect, and we repeatedly had to get up ourselves to ask for items and corrections. We eventually decided to leave because of the service, and as we were leaving, the same woman flipped my brother and me off. That experience (4 years ago from this review) was shocking enough that I probably should not have returned, but I wanted to give the restaurant another chance /: Unfortunately, this second visit confirmed my original impression. I can overlook an imperfect meal, a mistake with an order, or even slower service. What I cannot overlook is repeatedly being treated rudely for making simple, reasonable requests. Between the poor service, unpleasant attitude, bland and salty pho, missing traditional condiments, and mosquito problem, I unfortunately would not recommend this place and will not be returning
