This place is always very clean. They have a pretty good vegetarian pho that my sister and I always get. Somehow, even when you order it to go, it's piping hot for a very long time! So definitely be careful with it. It's honestly perfect if you're feeling a bit under the weather too. My only issue was when I was trying to ask for extra sriracha, I kept getting some sass in return and did not get my extra sriracha. I am Indian woman! Two measly little containers of sriracha was not going to cut it! Overall, good food, quick service and clean spaces. They also have outdoor seating. read more

My friends are wanted to find a pho place we never tried before and we came across this restaurant in the northdrige shopping center ! The moment we walked we got greeted by the owner she super nice !! And we asked her what's the most popular pho because she has different varieties of them ! And we chose the all beef pho ! The moment she came out with our it looked so delicious and amazing!! I fell in love with the broth it was served in ! My friend as highly recommend this place ! Food was not as good as it used to be, a lot less than what they used to give, but damn the service charge for 4 people? They don't even tell you about the service charge before you add a tip. Come here if you want subpar food, slow service, and expensive sneaky charges. Go to Pho So 1, pho is cheaper, tastier and service is fast. read more

We regularly come to the boba spot next door and always say "we need to check out this pho place." LA saw some chilly days recently so we decided it was finally time. They share a parking lot with the other businesses in the plaza so it wasn't a problem finding parking. They have some outdoor seating available but they'll also seat your inside with proof of vaccination. The day we went it was pretty empty. There were a few servers and they quickly sat us and took our order. We ordered 2 pho bowls, a sampler appetizer, and lemonade. I will say: look around the place because they did have specials displayed all through the restaurant that are not on the menu . Pho: It was a good portion despite us getting the small option. They bring out cilantro instead of basil, which was new to me. The broth was really really really bland. I know some people mentioned that not everyone can have a lot of salt so it's better to keep it at minimum so that the customer can add and adjust as they please. But my broth tasted like tap water. I added hoisin and siracha and all the add-ons to make it taste like anything but tap water, but it was on the back of my mind. The meat in my pho was really tough. I didn't get the impression that it was fresh. Appetizer sampler: comes with 3 wings, 2 egg rolls, and 4 fried gyoza. It was ok. Everything was fried so it was good in that sense. Lemonade: the lemonade was actually quite tasty. Overall: service was quick and friendly. Indoor/outdoor seating. Food was... ok. Drinks were refreshing. I don't think I would come back or recommend to a friend. read more

Okay. I wasn't going to leave a review and tried to not leave a complaint but I just didn't think they understood. So this is only off their banh mi sandwich. My son and I were craving these sandwiches and this place was the only ones open that sold at that time. Hesitated but tried as hungry. Ordered on phone. Said 10 mins. Came 15 mins later. Still wasn't don't. After maybe several mins later done. Went home. Home you I live about 3 mins away. Opened up and knew even opening the wrapper it was cold. Bread was cold. Touched meat inside and same cold. Calle them to be nice to notify. He had a language barrier. So decide to my son and self to to just eat. And it was not edible. Bread hello cold sold meat hella cold like pulled out of the frigerater with old veggies and glob of mayo and tomatoes!!!! Last word as you know you know this never belongs. Tried calling again and just got no concerns is triggering. So I am posting. Want true Vietnamese. Do not come here I even said I didn't like them pho. It's not true just like their sandwiches. So call ur place something else besides Vietnamese. So disappointed. I was so hungry after a 18 day. Do better. read more

I had a Veggie Pho; really enjoyed it. It had a couple of different kinds of mushrooms, bok choy, tofu, raw rings of onion, and a couple of broccoli florets. The soup base was very good. My husband had the same pho, but added Sriracha, and also loved that. Another in our dining party had the BBQ Beef w/rice, and enjoyed it very much. For dessert, we tried the Bingsoo. We had a choice of Matcha or Mixed Grain, both with red beans, or Mango, without red beans but with condensed milk. We had the Matcha ($6.95). I loved it, but my husband did not like the Matcha at all (though he drinks Matcha green tea), but liked the sweet red beans. It was a very large serving, plenty big enough for two (and enough for two more to taste!). Service was perfect: Very genuinely friendly and efficient. An excellent experience. read more

A decent interior and friendly, attentive staff. The Beef Bahn Mi was good; tasty in all expected ways although the bread used seemed a little thick and different from other Viet restaurants I've eaten at. Maybe it needed to be toasted a little (or more). The Beef Fried Rice was decent enough but not a stand out. It came with a little salad and soup which was good. The Beef Pho was tasty. Sorry but if you are a pho restaurant and don't pack sauce for a delivery. Like come on how silly and unprofessional is this pho restaurant but not have sauce. Very poor service to not pay attention to a customer. Pho comes with siracha and hoisin. It's a common fact. come on guys do better this place closes at ten but if you show up at 930 they won't serve you. I asked to talk to the manager and they said there wasn't a manager present. After that statement it made sense that the business is not ran properly with not even having a manager present. Sorry this place has let me down over and over. Learn how to run a business. I will never return to this place ever again. If I can vote zero stars I would!!! read more

It would have been great to have a nice Vietnamese place right across the street from my apartment for pho and banh mi sandwiches . . . but upon first impression, the banh mi and service were not good enough to make me want to go back. The evening started out decent, we had a young guy as our server and he was nice, making sure we ordered the right items and got drinks, sides, etc. I ordered a pork banh mi and thai tea. The Thai tea came first and it was decent but the glass is so small and it's full of ice so for $4.50 it's overpriced. Then the sandwich came out and it looked so very sad . . . like it was a disgrace to banh mi sandwiches. I've been to Bun Me down Reseda and they're sandwiches are phenomenal. This on the other hand, was nowhere near decent. The bread was clearly old, soft, and getting stale. It wasn't a nice, fresh baguette or french roll that should be served for a banh mi. I had asked the server what sauce or condiments were on the sandwich and he said only mayonnaise . . . there was no such mayonnaise. It was full of vegetables and yet hardly any pork and whatever pork was there was diced and sliced so small and thin, some bites only had vegetables. And there were no pickled veggies or anything in this telling me "banh mi". The service went downhill too. I guess our original waiter went on break and a waitress brought our check. We put in cash for my order (simple - sandwich and drink) and cards for the other two. We explained the cash would be used first and the rest of the bill would be split between the other two. She came back with the cash saying we were $20 something short. . . HUH? How? Why? What the hell did she do to charge both cards, not use the cash, and then say we are $20 some odd short? So we explained the cash was to be used first and then just changed it to be simpler and split the check into our three orders. So she came back and pointed to one of our friend's saying she was now short money on her order . . . even though we clearly explained to her that I was the one with cash. We finally got it sorted no thanks to the waitress and there went $12 down the drain. Won't be back or recommend this place. read more

Food was pretty mid. They have a free noodle option since it felt to compensate for the meal. Bland fried rice, pho and Thai tea. The shaved ice was 95% ice and 5% syrup/flavoring. Used to be good a year ago. Not bad but not good either. read more

I'm really surprise of the 5 start at this place. You must not have real pho to give this place a 5 . I came here for all the positive reviews and by far the worse. I don't even know where to start. Food wise I give it a 2 and customer service 0, worse customer service ever. Don't waste your time coming here. Our server was so rude and not once she came o ask if we needed anything. First time having Pho. This place came highly recommended by my boyfriend and it wasn't a bad experience. Parking can be a little tight in this shopping center, but you shouldn't wait too long. Similarly, this restaurant had VERY quick service. They were clean and friendly and were very attentive. I ordered the chicken Pho and it was ok, felt like it was missing something, but then again I was a first timer. The bean sprouts were fresh, though! I did find out that there is complimentary tea after dining there. I would have loved some tea with my meal, maybe they should advertise or offer it. read more

Been coming here for years! It's always my go to Pho stop! Not only is their soup the best around! Hands down! But the exceptional customer service is just thee best! You feel like home here. Not the best, but not the worse pho place. If you're craving a bowl of pho and don't want to leave the area for it, it will satisfy your craving but it won't leave you wanting to come right back for more. We had the ox tail pho which I think is a bit overpriced, but there was a decent amount of meat. Skip the egg roll appetizer dish, there was not much to it other than egg rolls and lettuce. Most other places have some herbs for you to eat with. Come by only if its convenient but don't go out of your way to try. read more

Especially, if the baguette is well toasted to have a crisp but soft exterior that gives you a good crunch and a bite, at the same time. Saigon Brothers has never disappointed in this department. Their Banh Mi is a superbly freshly assembled preparation. They take good care of you while you wait for your order to be prepared.
