Good pho, ok service. There was at least 4 people working there. All 4 were just sitting on empty tables. I thought maybe there were all taking breaks. But no, when someone walked in or needed to pay, they were up and back to work. I wouldn't have a problem with this, if it wasn't for me needed and wanting things. Yet I couldn't get their attention. We had empty glasses of water. We also wanted to order something else. Yet we were ignored until we stood need to the cash register to pay. They should've checked on us at least once. Food came out very fast. The place looks very clean. Pho was good, but did want to try other items. Just never got a chance since no one would help me.
First time at this location and this one is definitely much cleaner and newer. We were seated pretty promptly and our order came out very quickly. Pho hit the spot and was a pretty good size portion. Crispy egg rolls were really delicious. Once we were seated and got our food, it was definitely harder to flag down someone but once we did, they were attentive. It's in a busy shopping center so there is ample parking.
Pho So 1 was one of the least impressive Vietnamese spots I've been to--especially for California. The broth in both the pho and the bún bò Huế tasted... off, and the noodles were soft, soggy, and overdone. The bún bò Huế in particular was disappointing, with more bone than actual meat. To their credit, it was a busy night (surprisingly it was still not too noisy) but there was still plenty of seating, and my party of three was seated quickly. Service, however, was inconsistent. There seemed to be too many wait staff, as our table was approached 3-4 times within the first few minutes to see if we were ready to order. After that, it was the complete opposite--it became difficult to get refills or even flag someone down for the check. We eventually got tired of waiting and I had to go up to the cashier just to pay. Overall, not a great experience. Between the underwhelming food and uneven service, this isn't a spot I'd go out of my way to return to.
Large menu of Vietnamese food at a spacious clean restaurant that's great for large parties. We tried a beef vermicelli salad and a hen with red rice. They were not bad, but not great. The noodles and rice were cooked well, but the meats were on the dry side. If we return, we'll need to try what they are known for, the soups. The service is very speedy. And plenty of free parking in the lot.
Today was our first time dining at Pho So 1 in Chatsworth. It is located in a shopping center and their entrance is on the street side. Upon walking in, we were greeted with friendly faces We were quickly seated, and had our order taken. We both placed an order for a number 18 which is chicken and chicken broth. The broth was tasty, the chicken was soft, and the noodles were perfect. The bowl was a 10/10. The service was insane because we placed our order and we got our pho is less than 5 minutes, lol. Overall, I was greatly surprised with their service and cleanliness for being as busy as they were for dinner time. I will be back!
I've been to the Devonshire location before, and in my opinion, it's better. I ordered the #74 Charbroiled Pork Chop with fried eggs. The pork was really good and flavorful, and the food came out pretty quickly. However, there were a few issues. It took a while for someone to take our order, as the staff seemed to be talking and laughing behind the register. The rice also tasted stale, and the knife given to me still had food residue on it. Overall, the pork was good, but the service and food quality/sanitary issues made this visit disappointing.
I've been a Pho So 1 frequent customer for years, and while I've visited every location in the San Fernando Valley, this one is my favorite. The space is clean and bright, and the service is fast. The food is consistent between the different locations. This my go to spot for Vietnamese food in the valley.
Went here on Friday night to try out this branch of Pho So1. My partner ordered rare steak which is no16 but when the soup got in the table it no15 with tripe here they only have one size huge bowl but it's not hot enough. I ordered the charbroiled beef & egg roll with rice & pickled veggies. The beef is on the dry side while the egg roll is so crunchy and dry not the usual texture. The evening is not that busy lots of available table we didn't wait. Music is not loud. The server took our order as soon as we're seated. The restaurant has a clean well lighted dining area and right number of staff to customer ratio.
I ordered the Pho #1 and egg rolls, and they were both very good. The broth was flavorful and perfectly seasoned, while the egg rolls were crispy on the outside and moist on the inside. The service was friendly and attentive, and there was plenty of parking available, which made the visit even more convenient. Overall, a great experience, and I'd definitely come back again. Oh and the thai iced too was good as well. Decent overall pricing.

The new Pho spot in Granada Hills is ! Super clean, fast service, and no-nonsense authentic Vietnamese food. We stopped by before heading to the Dodgers game, and it did not disappoint. The Pho #1 combo with the egg roll was absolutely delicious! Highly recommend checking this place out.

The egg rolls are next level--super crispy, not greasy, and perfect for wrapping with the herbs and lettuce. I've had egg rolls from other Pho So 1 locations, but the ones at this spot actually felt lighter and less oily, which I loved. The pho has been consistently aromatic and comforting on the days I visited. The Bún bò Huế, though, wasn't as flavorful as I'm used to, and the noodles were cut surprisingly short, which made them hard to pick up. The pork leg/shank was also on the tougher side. I'm used to getting a different veggie plate with BBH, so having to use the standard pho herbs was a bit disappointing. The interior is modern with tons of big TVs--great if you want to catch a game while you eat. Service is quick for the most part, but I'd skip the bánh mì. Mine took over 30 minutes to come out (even after checking in at the 15-minute mark). It wasn't anything special flavor-wise, and they forgot the mayo, so it was pretty dry. Overall, for what it is, I'm happy to have another solid pho spot in the Valley. I'll definitely keep coming back for the pho and egg rolls.
It was the perfect evening for some Pho. Apparently everyone else thought so too! We first went to the location near us, a smaller restaurant and a crazy wait. We ended up at the Chatsworth location which is quite large inside, with a waiting area, lots of tables and an about 8-10 counter seats. It went pretty fast, once we put our name down. I ordered the Pho with rare steak, brisket and well done flank. Hubby got the beef stew Pho and my son got the vegetarian Pho. All of our orders were quickly served, large portions, perfect temp and really delicious. What makes Pho So1 most appealing to me is that they use rice noodles, which are great for my gluten sensitivity. They have a large menu and everything that I saw looked really good. Definitely recommend trying Pho So 1.

At least a plant based option in a few categories. Plenty of omnivore choices. I had the #50 vegan vermicelli noodle dish. Very tasty and filling unlike my disappointing breakfast at an all vegan restaurant. Very reasonably priced for quality and quantity. Most dishes in the mid teens unlike many places which have passed the $20 mark for less quality and quantity. Service quick and efficient. Plenty of separate and communal seating. Good mix of ethnicities which is high praise. Would certainly come back. read more
I want to like this location, but I can't. Their pho just doesn't do it, very inconsistent. Been here many times, won't recommend it to anyone. I stick with the rice or vermicelli dishes, those are usually more right. The service is always good, they try their best. The inside is spacious and inviting, clean and open. I recommend trying something that has bbq'd/grilled meats. read more

This is the 3rd Pho So 1 I've been to and the new location in Granada Hills is the same as all the others in the best way possible. Service is fast, the food is fresh, and you leave here with your belly full while somehow feeling refreshed. Interactions with some of the staff can be "off" at times, but it's due to a language barrier, so I would never hold this against the restaurant. The interior is the nicest and most modern of all the locations I've been to, so this will be my go to for the up coming chilly months! read more

Stopped into their new location in Granda Hills the other night for some late night pho. They service was amazing! We ordered and got out good within 5 mins. It was a pretty large serving as well. The ambiance is very casual but they have such pretty interior. Lots of seating and it's also very clean. We got the Tai Chin which is rare steak and well done brisket. It was delicious, super rich in flavor and the meat was great quality. I've had it be locations, but this one is definitely my new go to! read more

Ok I love Pho !! Happy this opened so I can find you try it and I tried it this past week and everything was delightful. I ordered chicken pho and it was very good very flavorful and the meat was very tender. I love the stainless steel bowl that they put it in which makes you so much easier to eat and enjoy. They have so much other options of Pho in other mails that I would like to try next time. I also have variety of coffee that would try when I come back again. It's very nice and clean and space is inside and the customer service was very good. They help you right away and the interior has a lot of seating with modern decor. Plenty of parking! Pho so 1 is my go to spot when getting pho! This is their new location in Granada hills and inside was very nice. It was clean and service was very fast. All the employees were friendly and kept checking up on us if we were doing ok. I got the #12 on the menu which has rare steak and well-done brisket. And it was delicious! The broth was savory and rich. The rare steak cooks perfectly in the hot broth and is very tender. Will definitely be coming again never disappoints! read more

Pho So 1 has always been my go to pho spot in the valley, so I was excited to try their new Granada Hills location. The authentic flavor is still there, but the quality wasn't quite the same. The noodles were undercooked and hard to chew, and the service still needs some improvement. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt since they're new hopefully they figure out the best system in time. Best of luck! read more
I love this place just as much as their Devonshire location! This place is cute and updated. I love the service! It's some of the same people from their Devonshire location so I was received with the same warm welcomes as I always have. I am a repeat customer to the Devonshire location because of quality and affordability. I will be a repeat customer for the same quality and service here. My #6 was a delicious and hefty with protein as always. Spring rolls with pork and shrimp are a must try. read more
I came to have pho with my sister family tonight since we were in the area and wanted to try this new location. I was just at their other location last Friday where I found out they had their grand opening the same day. We found parking alright when we came near the entrance but this restaurant is in a big plaza so there more than enough spots. The restaurant is smaller here compared to the one on Balboa. I got the #1 bowl which is the combination pho, my sister got the #10 pho and my nephew got the shrimp pho. I notice that this location is slower in terms of getting your food because I would get the #1 pho quick at the other location even when they are really busy. My sister pho took awhile to come out for some reason. My #1 pho was also missing the tendons, like there was none in the pho. This place was good to try once but I'll be sticking to the Devonshire and Balboa location because they are faster. read more

Excited about this brand new Pho So 1 location right near Chatsworth and Zelzah in Granada Hills! I decided to stop in to grab some lunch to go, and service was friendly and efficient! I ordered two Pork Bahn Mi, shrimp spring rolls, and a Vietnamese Iced Coffee. They brought out the iced super quickly so I got to enjoy that while I waited for the food. The iced coffee was delicious and authentically made with condensed milk rather than half-n-half! The sandwiches, and the shrimp rolls were also delicious - I think next time I may ask for extra pate though for the Bahn Mi sandwich. They have ample indoor and outdoor seating so this location appears to be great for both in-person, and to-go, dining. Check it out! read more

Really good! We frequent another pho place in porter ranch but they are always a big hit or miss and so we've started ordering from this pho so 1 location and it's been great so far. The first time we dined in they were really kind and welcoming. This time we ordered for take out. I got the #20 beef stew which had a different more opaque type of broth with stewed carrots and beef. Also had the Bahn mi pork sandwich which was good. I also appreciated the gentleman not laughing over the phone as I butchered the Vietnamese pronunciation of all the food haha. read more
Pho So 1 in Chatsworth did not disappoint. The broth was tasty, rich, and comfort in exactly what a good bowl of pho should be. You can tell it's been simmered with care and flavor, not bland or watered down like some places. Perfect for a cozy, satisfying meal. Kid you not, as soon as I sat down and got my food was no more than 15 minutes. The broth doesn't have overwhelmed clove taste as do some pho places do. It's pure clean broth and meats tender. Huge portions and great service! read more

They got their quirks together really fast and are now just as quick and efficient as the OG location. The food is perfection--it's the real deal for anyone looking for authentic Pho. My go-to is the rare steak and brisket; the broth is consistently delicious, complex, and seasoned well. In terms of value, it is a "Great Value" as it remains incredibly affordable for the quality and portion size you receive. The service is exemplary--always quick, with an easy cash-out process at the counter. Unlike some older spots, this location is new, clean, and airy, making it a great place to hang out. Whether you're a long-time fan or a newcomer, this is a valley must-visit. read more

Absolutely delicious food here, I always tend to get the pho and my daughter goes for the banh mi or the pork vermicelli. Never had any issues with the food, it's always consistent. Service at the start is very attentive but after you start eating, you have to try and flag down staff if you need anything. Ambiance is fine, they have TVs up playing, and there's plenty of seating. If service was a little more attentive, this would make it 5 stars for me. read more

I've been to this location multiple times since they opened and it's so good. Their rare steak and well done brisket pho is so good. Eggrolls always hot and crispy. They give a generous amount of soup, noodles and meat. Service is always good. Staff is always friendly and tends to you fast whenever you need something. It's clean, bright and spacious in there and I really love this spot! read more

I'm not even a pho person... like, I usually avoid it. But coming here with my friends completely changed my life (okay maybe not my whole life, but definitely my taste buds ). The pho was sooo good and crazy comforting. Now I get the hype. You HAVE to try the spring rolls and banh hoi too The staff are super friendly and insanely fast -- our food came out in under five minutes. I was still fixing my napkin and boom, food's here. Honestly way better than I expected. 10/10 plot twist. Definitely coming back to try everything on the menu read more

First time trying this newly opened Pho So 1. Restaurant and seating area was clean and well organized. Service was fast and smooth. I ordered their shrimp soup with noodles, beef brisket, and beef balls. Shrimp was fresh and soup was amazing! Very filling and had enough to take for leftovers. Thai tea was great and always a good choice. Overall great experience and time! Definitely recommend. Enjoy! read more
I give this place 2.5/ 5. The attendant took our order without writing our order down. She just took it by listening without repeating verbally what I ordered and I even showed the photo of what we wanted. Next thing you know, they messed up our order . We ordered pork chop with rice and EGGS as stated in the menu. It came out with NO eggs. I had to ask where are the eggs? The other server said oh you ordered pork chops with rice and eggs? I was like, I ordered and showed the photo from the menu. So they cooked and gave me an oily egg not eggs but just 1 egg. WTF. 1.5/ 5. I ordered fried chicken with rice also and it came out as a half a chicken with rice. The menu didn't say half a chicken. WTF. 2/ 5. Egg roll and the dipping sauce was a little bland and we end up just tasting it and didn't finished it. What a waste. 2/ 5. Inside was bright and they have large windows all over and it was clean inside. Parking was not an issue as they were inside a large shopping center. This place was not for me. Hospitality was an average. I don't think I will be back here after that experience and mis direction of the menu. I'm better off going to Pho Saigon in chatsworth and have a better experience. read more

Oh gosh never been to such a great pho restaurant. I come here weekly. The food is good, broth is rich, my fav one is #1 the combination pho that has rare steak, flank, tripe, tendon and brisket, oy yoy oy yummy. The yellow yellow dish is stir fried crispy chow-mein with shrimp, chicken, beef, broccoli & veges. Then I recommend you should try #74 the rice come with chabroiled pork and fried egg, urg I'm in heaven eating this. Nice area to dine in :) Large glasses seeing outside, chilling with sun, and car running around. Service is good :) Got the tap drink right away when I sit, menu on tables, got help when I need. read more
I've ordered take out here many times since their grand opening. I've dined in twice and there's also something that goes wrong. There are servers there who don't know how to take orders / understand our orders. Once server gave us the wrong price for a side! When we were about to pay, we saw the price was not what the server said, and the lady at the counter said, "he doesn't know, he's new". The second instance was for an order of brisket pho - I asked for EGG noodles and the lady thought I said EXTRA noodles so I got a bowl of pho and another bowl of Vermicelli noodles and still got charged for the egg noodles after I had it corrected. Meanwhile, I husband asked for bean curd and the lady had no idea what we were talking about. She said "no more" but there are a ton of menu items that contain bean curd so how can they not have it? Anyways, the food is good, the space is large, the bathrooms are clean and there's a lot of parking.... read more
