My wife wanted to stop by this Silverlake Ramen location to grab lunch after we left the mall nearby. We found parking just fine closer to Whole Foods and just walked to the restaurant. They were not busy at all when we came in the afternoon so we got seated quickly. My wife already knew what she wanted so she ordered her spicy garlic edamame and got the blaze ramen. I wasn't craving ramen so I went with 2 spicy chicken bun. My bun came out quick and it had a spicy kick to it but it wasn't bad, I thought it was fine. My wife edamame came out next and she loved it. Then her ramen soup came out and she loved it. The customer service was amazing here and we didn't have any issues beside having no Internet on my phone with T-Mobile. So I just connected to the Finney wifi next door.

We came here for lunch as a group of eight. Since the restaurant is on the smaller side, we were told it would take about 30 minutes for them to assemble a table large enough for our group. We left my brother‑in‑law's number and walked over to Nordstrom Rack to browse while we waited, especially since it was raining that day. We eventually received a text that our table was ready, but when we returned, we were asked to wait an additional 10 minutes because the guest occupying part of the table had paid but hadn't left yet. The staff eventually asked him to move to another table so they could combine the space for our group, and once that was sorted out, we were finally seated. Ordering was straightforward. I chose the extra‑spicy ramen combo with a pork bun. Unfortunately, we were informed that their fryer was broken, so none of the fried items were available, which was disappointing. Still, the food arrived in a reasonable amount of time, and the ramen absolutely delivered. The broth was rich and flavorful, the noodles were perfectly cooked, and all the toppings tasted fresh. My sister‑in‑law had recommended this place, and she was right, the ramen really is excellent. The only downside to our visit was an interaction with one of the servers. When we asked for extra napkins after my son accidentally spilled his water, she smirked at us in a way that felt dismissive and unprofessional. Her attitude left a negative impression, and I wish we had been assisted by someone else. Overall, the quality of the ramen saved the experience. If the service had matched the food, this would have been an easy five‑star visit. As it stands, the ramen is good enough that we might return, but if not for that, this would likely have been our last visit.

Solid ramen spot and in general the Silverlake ramen chain is a safe bet. The classic tonkotsu pork broth is creamy and umami. The protein options Include tofu, chicken , and pork belly. The pork belly is the most flavorful. My go to is the Shoyu on Fire and I order it medium heat. It has a good spicy kick. It also comes with a roasted jalapeno (iykyk) and I added sautéed garlic mushrooms. This is one savory spicy yummy bowl. The chicken Karrage is crispy and we always get a bottle of unfiltered sake to share. For $20.50 you can get a combo - bowl of ramen and an appetizer. great deal and you will leave with a happy full belly.

Curry Rice Bowl - curry not too flavorful. i liked the pickled veggies tho! Karaage was good

I actually haven't had their ramen yet so take that as you will lol - this review is for their curry karaage bowl. At this time, doordash had a BOGO deal on their rice bowls. The curry karaage bowl seemed the most appealing. The regular was the perfect size for me and SO but it lacked in flavor whilst the karaage itself was decent and lean. Adding chili garlic at home definitely elevated the meal. Overall it was okay, but I wouldn't get it again. Would come back to try their ramen tho lol

One of the jewels at the Porter Ranch Vineyards is, Silverlake Ramen. It is a small, yet cozy restaurant that has a very simple, but hip decor, to cater for foodies who hunger for Ramen. And indeed, while they have other items on their menu, it is their Ramen that is exceptional. The bowls come out generously portioned, steaming hot, with those noodles perfectly prepared for slurp, texture and chew. When eating here, you can easily forget the other ingredients in the dish. Just savoring the noodles and the broth alone for me, is enough to provide food satisfaction. My selection this time was their combo for $20.50. I chose the Chicken Shoyu on Fire (spicy clear chicken stock with shoyu, green onions, corn, fried jalapenos, seaweed, micro cilantro, lime & seasoned egg). Yes, the additions are like a bonus, enhancing the flavor and mouth feel of the total product. Compliments to the chef (s). For my second choice in the combo, the fried Pork Gyoza. It comes as 4 pieces with a nice spicy orange colored aioli. Juicy and delicious. Service here is always prompt, cordial and superb.

I finally tried Silverlake Ramen at the Porter Ranch Vineyards, and I enjoyed every moment of it. I've heard about Silverlake Ramen for years, so I was excited when they opened one so close to my house. I don't remember the exact name of my order, but it was a chicken-based broth and I chose tofu as my protein (you can pick chicken, pork, or tofu). Seriously--YUM. The noodles were cooked to perfection, the toppings were just the right amount, and I completely got lost in that broth. Everything was fairly priced, delicious, and the service was attentive and genuinely upbeat. I'm absolutely going back. We also tried a couple of appetizers--the gyoza and the crispy rice with spicy tuna--and both were great!

Any time it's winter, the ramen urges skyrocket for me and I'm glad this is pretty close to home, rather than tracking into the belly of the valley or La itself. I got their blaze ramen I think. The spice was great and the pork was obscenely delicious. The noodles were sadly overcooked and a little gummy. I'm hoping this was more of an off experience rather than their norm. But I'm willing to overlook it this once as everything else was so good.

Stopped by for lunch and was craving some local ramen, we have not been to this location since it first opened up in porter ranch. Let me start by saying that service was amazing, and she took care of us tremendously. Inside the restaurant, it seems like it cannot accommodate a lot of people and I can assume that at the busy hours the line will get long. We ordered the combo, the ramen with a side. Honestly, I've had some good ramen and I would say that this place was pretty average.

The pork ramen i had was great and so is the churros and ice cream. Our group was well seated and the service was quick and efficient. So yeah.. No complaints really, don't know about the other low reviews.

BIG portion sizes I can never finish it. Lots of good food here & i definitely recommend it. Service here is fast & efficient. The staff is friendly. The gyoza is a really good appetizer & pairs well with lemon.

We tried out this spot before checking out a movie at the theater next door, and luckily there were open spots on the counter that you can walk in and grab a seat that is available. It was loud, bright and the staff was friendly and quickly took our order. We tried out the crispy rice with spicy tuna and once you take a big bite of it you can taste the flavorful spicy tuna, the kick from the jalapeño and the crunch rice balancing it all with the creamy avocado. The ramen came out next and after mixing in the spicy paste to the broth it turned up the flavor. The broth was rich and creamy and had a good flavor to it. The pork was a bit fatty for me but I enjoyed my bowl and liked all the topping that came with it. We left happy and full ready to enjoy the movie!

Such a great amazing food the person giving me the food was so great and you know it was just so spicy so amazing and it's so filling and there's so much fixings in it that I just love and I love the pepper and I just love it and literally when I'm having a bad day I just needed to have that so anyways

I know Gardena is too far from Simi to get your money's worth for a good bowl of ramen. I ordered the combo that comes with a side dish. I opted for the Blaze and Karaage. Service was fast and so as the bill that came too soon like halfway to our meal. There's people waiting - I get it. Inside is small and dining tables are limited. They should do reservations during busy hours - to control quality and better dining experience. Prices were reasonable. The tempura sushi was huge even when they were cut. If you have a big mouth then I think you'll be fine if not, you'll be picking up little bits of rice and other ingredients on your plate. Overall, it's good. It's simple. It'll satisfy your ramen cravings without going to Sawtelle or South Bay.

Ask the Community - Silverlake Ramen

Dairy? do they add milk or cream to their broth?

No, some of the broths add soy milk though

Do they have generous serving especially their ramen?

It's a normal serving. You'll be able to finish everything and be full. Not super full. Unless you're 7 years old, you won't be able to get 2 meals out of one order. It is an expensive ramen bowl but it's the best I've had. Ever!

    Do they have outside seating?

The Vineyards plaza has benches and tables right outside the restaurant. It doesn't belong to the restaurant. It's first come first serve. You have to tell them you are sitting outside.

    Do they take reservations?

I don't think so at this time. They get pretty busy and there are pretty long wait times.

I don't eat pork, but I'm okay with pork broth, so I asked if I could substitute the pork chashu for chicken. What I received instead was popcorn chicken, which was unexpected and not at all what I had in mind. There was no communication that this would be the substitute, which made it even more frustrating. On top of that, I was still charged for it without any clarification beforehand. Transparency goes a long way, especially when making substitutions. Overall, between the lackluster flavor and the confusing substitution, it just didn't feel like a thoughtful or well-executed experience.
