My husband and I both enjoyed some island flavored coffee while the kids had some refreshing pretty drinks that looked like Aloha magic. (Edible glitter) We came to 808 Social on one of their pop up days and were able to catch other vendors that made this trip a one stop visit. We were able to get flavorful ono lunch, tasty dessert, and yummy drinks to finish it all off. Everyone was so welcoming and service was top tier. The ambiance was family friendly and you could definitely feel the ohana vibes. We adore 808 Social a LATTE and can't wait to come back!

It wasn't horribly busy when I stopped by mid-morning. The owners were super kind to chat a bit -- they get busy in the early AM/around opening for their spam musubi (a Hawaiian snack). I noticed an empty warming case - limited amounts are available daily to buy, lots of people order ahead of time which causes a line out the door! Since they had sold out for the day I got a muffin with some sweet butter in addition to my Maui Strong drink. It was a little too sweet for me but nonetheless - delicious. If I had time I would've stayed around to sit and telework. Definitely a nice stop on my way back to town (super close off of Grand Ave).

Lotsa folks around getting their day started, or doing some work for the day. The energy was perfect, and my coffee arrived promptly. I gave it a sip and went on my way. The coffee was not bad, but pretty much unremarkable in that regard. I enjoyed it as a sipping coffee, but it was a little too dark on the roast for me. Not their fault, as they're a multiroaster. But what really stood out to me was the unique concept of being able to choose exactly how much ice and sugar you want in your drink. Being able to customize the sugar level is a game changer! I placed a mobile order for pickup the next morning and it was a seamless experience. The pop-up is inside Beauty Bar on 99th, so it was very easy to find and had lots of parking. The setup is so cute, I love pop-up concepts because they're typically very open and it's cool to see all the inner workings of the business and how they make each order. I quickly felt very welcome here! One of the co-owners, Israel, gave me a whole rundown of the business and how it's been partnering with Nami Matcha to sell their product. He was an absolute angel and answered all of my nosy questions! Onto the drink, I opted for the Nami Matcha which comes with Nami matcha powder, oat milk and agave. A very simple drink that truly allows the flavor of the matcha to shine! Israel asked me if I wanted a little cold foam on top and I couldn't say no, so that added a delicate sweetness to the drink. I'm super impressed, they do not skimp out on the matcha here-- I mean just look at the color! I definitely think this is one of the best matcha lattes I've had in the Valley. My cousins ordered a strawberry matcha, cookie, and both vanilla and chocolate soft serve. I had a sip of the strawberry matcha and it was just okay to me. The chocolate chip cookie was not too soft, but not hard either. It was even a tad gooey in the middle. I liked it. Even though I didn't try either of the soft serves, my little cousins enjoyed them. For $7 a pop, I was glad to see the generous portion. Service was fast and friendly. I won't be going out of my way to visit another Coach Coffee Shop, but I do love having the option!

The PB Nirvana is one big toasted bread which is covered completely with peanut butter and banana slices alongside coconut shreds. Although the acai bowl was smaller than other places, it was arranged so neatly and the quality of the fruit was sublime. The Angel Wings was sufficiently warm and wonderfully sweet. I liked all the things I ate and would recommend this place for anyone looking for quality food and drinks. All of this cost around $30.
