Love Philz coffee! I like the ambiance of this coffee shop in Colma. Lots of natural light and just a chill vibe in general. I like that Philz are introducing more seasonal and limited offer drinks. Service is not bad, friendly cashiers and a few friendly baristas.

They're opening a Philz in San Leandro closer to my place of dwelling! We popped in this location with family around Christmas time one chilly afternoon. Pros: Pastries were satisfying. Almond croissant totally worth it. Banana bread not too shabby. Density was mid. Creative menu. Ample seating. Sufficient place to study or read. Cons: Wait time was exorbitant. Drinks were set out on the counter with no name labeled on them and no one announcing whose order was up.

Can't go wrong with Tesora drink and a tiramisu tartine!

I have been going to this particular Philz for a few years now and they have yet to disappoint. I always get a mocha tesora (hot) or my main standard of iced mint mojito (sweet and creamy). The staff is always clear and precise with calling out the order and the wait is hardly long.. unless of course it's a weekend, peak time or short staffed. Understandable of course. I've ordered the almond croissant, lemon sliced bread and tiramisu tartine-- all great choices. They offer to heat it up but I usually go for cold. The bathroom is single stall (all-gender) and does not require a code to enter. There is a nice patio outside to sit in and enjoy the view of target, or two sofas indoor to get a more plush seating. There's pews in front of the baristas to wait. The availability of a water pitcher with cups near the entrance is a plus since I don't have to ask anyone. Overall, I can see why a lot of people go to this particular Philz. Highly recommend!!!

One of my favorite Philz locations! It is conveniently located near other restaurants and businesses in a rather large parking lot. The service was excellent although at times there was a long wait time. I visited a few times and had tried several of their drinks which were of high quality. I would visit again to try their seasonal drinks and pastries.

Good old reliable Philz, it's my comfort drink of choice. This spot has plenty of parking. The service here is always fast and friendly. If you are in a rush use the app to order. They make the coffee to order so expect a short wait but it's worth it for the quality. This place is welcoming and with chill vibes. Plenty of seating to take and get some work done.

The Philz Colma location always seems to either mess up orders or provide weak rushed coffee. Just ordered our normal Ether blend like we always do from the Westborough location and sure enough I dont know what we received but it was definitely not Ether (not even a dark roast). I should have known better to order from this location but the Colma location is closer. It also makes sense that when you order from Westborough it takes on average 10/15 longer to receive your order then Colma which just shows me that Westborough actually has baristas that take pride in their craft, not someone who just pushes out cups of gas station grade coffee.

I love that parking isn't usually challenging here, but finding a table sometimes is. When you do find a table, it might not have a plug near it to charge, but it might not be an issue, depending on what you're working on. Depending on who is working, the music might be loud or quiet. The options for drinks are plentiful and tasty. Sometimes there aren't pastries if you go later in the day. They recently changed to longer hours, but they seem to have changed back again.

Who knew there'd be coffee and the police! Drama, drama, drama with and overdose. Hope the guy's okay. It's not because of this coffee though. Drug related. Anyways, this Philz was crowded at 3pm in the afternoon. Got my usual mint mojito, and it was done right.

I really like this Philz coffee location. It has great lighting and many tables to work from along with outlets for each table. I also had a great experience with the workers here. All of them have been pleasant to interact with.

The staff are friendly and very focused when making drinks. The first time, I had a lavender vanilla latte and he had an americano. We had a good experience and I was highly impressed by the flavor of their house-made syrup. For the second time, I got an iced pandan matcha latte and my husband got a pandan latte. The pandan flavor was very nice and paired well with their matcha. We also got a spam musubi that hit spot on a Sunday morning. I expected a decent crowd since it was a work holiday, but I ended up being the only one there. Loved that! DRINKS: 8/10 SERVICE: 10/10 AMBIANCE: 9/10 What I ordered: Brown Sugar Toffee Nut Iced Latte with Oatmilk ($7.88) DRINKS: 8/10 I ordered a Brown Sugar Toffee Nut Iced Latte, and I thought it was good, just not the best iced latte I've ever had. Considering the price point and the size, it felt a bit expensive. To be fair, it's a specialty syrup drink, and I did substitute oat milk, so the cost makes sense. Still, I know other places that offer a slightly larger size for around the same price. My drink tasted a little watered down, but not so much that it ruined the flavor. I could still taste the brown sugar and toffee nut notes. I just wish the espresso flavor came through a bit stronger. On the bright side, I love that they use Califia Barista Oat Milk! SERVICE: 10/10 The staff were very friendly and charismatic, which added to the cheerful morning vibes... loved that! The barista made my drink fairly quickly, but I was also the only one there, haha. AMBIANCE: 9/10 This café definitely had a friendly, community vibe. The first thing I noticed when I walked in was a bulletin board and table filled with community resources, local services, pamphlets, news, and small business ads. I honestly love that. There was plenty of seating, with both group tables and bar stools available. The décor was simple yet cute, which added to the cozy atmosphere. PARKING: 9/10 (does not count toward rating) Parking wasn't as bad as I expected, especially since the café is located on a main street with nearby train stops. I appreciated that the parking spots were spacious, and there's also residential parking available. Since it was a work holiday, I thought it would be packed, but there was actually plenty of street parking.

Every time I've walked by, there's a pretty sizable line (often extending out the door and around the corner) - but after trying it a few times, it's very clear why! They offer a wide variety of drinks spanning traditional espresso drinks, to matcha and hōjicha teas, to fruit teas and "tornados" (blended smoothies), so there is really is something for everyone! In the times I've been, I've tried their mango fruit tornado, earl grey matcha latte, a regular latte, and the black sesame matcha einspänner - and I've been impressed with each one! The drinks are thick, creamy, balanced, and always refreshing. They've been excellent for the warmer summer months, but some of their drinks are also available hot, which will be nice as we enter the cooler fall weather. The ordering system is fast and easy - just enter your order and pay on the kiosk, without needing to talk to the staff. And despite the often long lines, I've never had to wait more than 5-10 minutes for my drinks. Overall, this place is consistent, quick, and very tasty. If you need a refreshing pit stop on your way around downtown Burlingame, Ceré Tea is a great way to go!

This drink is described as matcha, milk, and Osmanthus Syrup. I didn't taste any of the syrup, the drink wasn't sweet at all, which isn't bad but I paid extra for the flavored latte rather than plain and it just tasted like plain matcha. It did have some flower leaves in it though? Which was unexpected as I would think a syrup would have been strained. You also don't interact with anyone here, you order on an iPad. The table I sat to wait at was dirty.
