Do not take your car to this transmission shop. Paid $2000 to rebuild my transmission. Six weeks later the transmission completely seized and I had to get it towed approximately 40 miles because it was under warranty. My car is still in the shop and it's been over 40 days and I would not recommend anybody to take their car for transmission service here. This has been a very disappointing situation and hopefully will be resolved soon I will update when complete. Aaaargh!!! read more

They "rebuilt" our transmission a couple of years ago. It recently started slipping in and out of 4 TJ gear. Decided we needed a second opinion and wow.... Apparently they like using old clutch packs and various other parts when they completely rebuild your transmission. It's downright theft. We paid for all new parts and got screwed. Thankfully we found an amazing honest repair shop to give us the old parts as evidence after they rebuilt it right. I would never trust these people again. You dented, chipped, & scratched my car. You lied about the diagnosis too. Over priced for a TERRIBLE job. My car was garage kept for 23 years. Not a single dent, scratch, ding, or anything. I came back to pick her up & noticed multiple areas which have extensive damage. You even tried to conceal the damage on the bumper with cheap red sharpie. Total disaster. Never come to this place with any of your cars. Totally not to be trusted in any sense or form. The lack of professionalism is outstanding. How do you even do business. This shop is an excuse for laziness & lack of respect. Phil is an extremely hot headed person who blew up when I tried to point out the damage he put on my car. He quoted me three times with different price points each time then became angry when I told him he lied. The staff here is very unwelcoming & not clean cut in any sense. No words could ever be enough to express DO NOT COME TO THIS PLACE. Good luck trying to keep your reputation after this! read more

This is my second trans rebuilt by Phil and his boys. The first was a C6 ford in a lifted 88 F350 supercrew 4WD. That was 5 years ago. Still rockin. Just finished up a 94 Olds I found that had super low miles in excellent condition. Found the cooling lines where plugged, rebuilt the trans and she runs like new. Do yourself a favor avoid this transmission shop at any cost I am a independent repair shop owner I do not do transmission work so I must rely on shop specializing in Transmission work I brought 3 cars to them I had no problem on price I just wanted the cars diagnosed and fixed right well all three were a total mess the first car stopped shifting I got the car back and they picked it the diagnosis was a bad wire? I got the car back and the same thing happened again this I was told the torque converter was bad? They took care of it but the customer was without a car for 4 days. 2nd was A Lexus the car had a harsh down shift and the check engine light was on with a trans code stored I was told it would need a full rebuild I gave him the Okay I picked the car up at his Mesa location and was on the way back to the shop in Chandler and the car started to overheat the shop did not refill the cooling system correctly I called Phil and he said he bought the special coolant the car required? About 2 days later the check engine light came on and the car was doing the same exact thing I brought the car and Phil said the Wiring harness inside the transmission was the problem then why did you rebuild the transmission or why did you not replace the harness in the first place he took care of it and of course it took 4 days.. 3 is the charm I can not even post what went on with the last Lexus I brought to them I like to give people the benefit of the doubt but trust me on this one stay away from this shop. read more

I'd rather have my 6 year old daughter fix my boyfriend cars! She probably do a better job!!! By far the worst experience I've ever had!!! My boyfriend has had his car back in phils shop 7 different times and the problem has yet to be fixed!!! Each time they have had my boyfriends car for minimum of 2 weeks!!! They have it now and it's been 3 weeks! No update on what's going on! They ordered the wrong part several times so we have to wait for the right part! I wouldn't even care if they actually fixed the problem.. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE! spend the money and go somewhere that's actually gonna do the job the right way and on time! I literally can not even express how mad I am at this shop! Leaving us with out a car for several weeks at a time! And the only reason we continue to take it back is because we already paid the money or else I would MUCH rather take it somewhere else! read more
