The place was absolute garbage. "George" the owner couldn't fix my 10 year old Camry. His excuses were ridiculous. I guess if you have a 25 year old Chevy you'll be OK, maybe. I have a 10 year old Toyota and his "diagnosis" was ridiculously wrong. I finally took it to a real shop and they replaced a seat belt tensioner and a faulty ignition coil. They go above and beyond to make sure you are completely satisfied. I even received a hand written thank you note for my business! I have had two of my vehicles in for regular maintenance. On my first visit, they were offering a special: FREE air filter with any canned food donation. Wow, auto repair shop that gives back! When I brought in my other vehicle I was concerned that the price would be a lot more. I was happily surprised to hear that my vehicle was in good shape and it only needed an oil change and transmission flush, both of which were reasonably priced. I had the transmission in my acura mdx rebuilt at pete kelleys last year. Since then it has been back to the shop a few times. The mdx has been there since october of 2019. Its now February 13 2020. I paid 4000 dollars for this transmission only to have my vehicle in the shop for half of the last year. At this point they could just give me my money back for the transmission and keep the car. read more

I was impressed. We took our Chrysler 200 in for some service. Turned out they found a broken motor mount, belts coming through a tire, bad front brakes, a bad idler pulley for the serpentine belt on a car that the previous owner had supposedly "taken care of well"...NOT! The brake fluid and power steering fluid were black and we had a pinhole coolant leak buried up under the oil filter housing. The car was a mess. Oh, I forgot to mention two leaking rear shocks! George worked with us to get us the best deal on parts, promptly did the repairs and the car rides better than ever. George made a point of showing me all the bad parts and what was wrong with them...he saved them all to show me. I couldn't be happier with the work or the pricing. Today a engine light was on and my truck would not pass emissions. It passed with flying colors! The service is amazing and customer service is wonderful. George was super honest and helpful, he even offered to pick my car up from a near by location while I was at work. He provided me a detail summary of what would happen, he found me a used transmission for my Camry and installed it in 5days. Horrible customer service. More excuses than work done. This was an engine install which took longer than originally quoted (3 weeks because more expensive jobs took priority) and left timing 10 degrees off spec (20-23 degrees btc) and when we called to inquire about it, were told to fix it ourselves. When they called to let us know the car was ready, we were told that no mechanic wanted to test drive to insure everything was done properly because it is a small car. When we arrived to pick up vehicle were also told there was no gas in it. Came back a few days later to pick up other old engine and was directed to use their shop equipment to load ourselves. Needless to say we didn't feel they wanted our business. Wish granted, we won't be back. read more

I had a great experience with Pete Kelley's. I took my 2008 Subaru in to get my timing belt and water pump replaced and I could really tell that they cared about me as a customer and my vehicle. James was very informative and friendly. He took me back into the shop to take a peak at my car because I also thought my brakes needed to be done. He showed me that my brakes were still in great condition and did not needed to be replaced at this time. Pretty cool for a mechanic to tell you that you don't need something fixed. Also when he test drive my car he noticed a buzzing sound that he found to be my air intake. He went ahead and fixed it for me... For free! Talk about great service! Overall a great experience, I always dreaded getting my timing belt changed because you hear horror stories about how expensive it is. But out the door for a timing belt, water pump, new serpentine belt, new AC belt, and oil change it was $650. Not too terrible if you ask me. While there the owner confirmed that a more major service had been done recently (a timing belt replacement)...but only after carefully reviewing multiple access points to ensure the job was actually done. He also gave me some great advice...to always ask for the removed/replaced parts confirming what was done with the service provider. He was both a gentleman and a pro. HI just wanted to let you know that that review is a lie. He puts up his own review's. He has been sued several times over the years. he had my car there for three months and broke several things on my car while it was there. When the ENGINE BLEW the second time they tried to fix it and I paid for a new motor! THEY USED THE WRONG HEAD BOLTS ON THE ENGINE! Dropped header BOLTS AND LEFT THEM IN THE EXHAUST when they put the motor back in. Its been a year later and my engine blew again because of the bad build job. He will not work with me at all and when I try to call he threatens me and tells me he's going to send his people after me and kick my A**. He is the worst, just ask any body including the machine shop in the front they will even tell you not to use him. When George Bought the shop from Mr. Kelly he ruined his name and the business, DO NOT GO HERE!! HE WILL RIP YOU OFF he's cost me over 2000 dollars plus the cost of having to fix the engine this time.
