This place is not bad, but honestly, I prefer the Long Beach traffic circle location. Lunch-time lines are generally fairly packed and sometimes it's 'standing room only'...yeah, I know, for a wanna-be-philly cheesesteak, go figure. But anyway, I get my usual Philly's Best Chicken featuring chicken, mushrooms, grilled onions, and provoline; I load it up with peppers/pickles and jalapenos myself. All in all, it's still a decent sandwich, it's just that the one at Traffic Circle was a bit less oily, had a bit more taste, and was less crowded. Also, the prices for this entire chain just seem to be a bit more than what you'd wanna pay. For a buck or 2 less, you can actually get a fairly venerable premium sandwich at Quizno's. Now being a true philly boy I am always up for trying our "authentic" food in other locations. But Philly's Best is the real deal! Great food... Expensive, but great... A cheese steak and a sandwich can set you back about 8-9$, but the cheese steak is the best I've had so far. The Philly's Best sandwich is just perfect when it's cooked at its finest. Occasionally I'll get one that doesn't taste as good, but I would think it's pretty hard to make a perfect cheese steak every time. When perfect, the meat just blends perfectly with the peppers, and the melted cheese just adds the right texture making an amazing sensation all in one bite... The fries are great as well. The Philly cheesesteaks basically comes with no meat. They changed so much since I've been coming for years. Once you get half way through the sandwich it's just all bread. Why this place has bad reviews? NO IDEA! Walked in and the workers were super friendly. I think the gentleman at the cashier new it was our first time but he helped us through it! I got the Pepperoni Cheesesteak W and a side of onion rings, this is the closest thing I've had to an original since I moved out here. Well I was told this place was good. And it did not disappoint. Ordered the basics philly with peppers cheese and mushrooms. For being so far away from the hometown of Rocky Balboa this place tries. Of course I'm not going to compare it to Philly staples like Pat's and Gino's. For what they offer it's pretty good. They have a lot of options of cheesesteaks that fufill your cravings. My only complaints is that the bread isn't the greatest, its kinda stiff and the kitchen is very loud to the poing where you can hear them banging and clanking in the dining area, as well as it is very small with little seating available (No booths).
