Her phone was right next to where she was rolling the pretzels. Then she got up for a minute and put her hand in the tip jar which had coins and paper money. She continued rolling pretzel dough after that without washing her hands.

We found Philly Pretzel Factory online and saw they looked good so we gave them a shot! The business is pretty much just an ordering counter with a small bar to snack at, but no seating for groups... it's a take out establishment. The place looked clean and well lit, and I was quickly greeted by a friendly woman manning the store. Arianna determined my exact order was custom and offered to prepare the fresh pretzels as I waited, which I appreciated. Arianna revealed she is the owner / entrepreneur and obviously takes great pride in her business. Arianna sold me on a few pretzel dips, and even threw in some extra goodies for my order, which was done about 15 minutes later. The pretzels and dips were a huge hit; all of my family loved them and didn't leave any leftovers! This place is worth the visit if you've got a pretzel craving!

The staff was super friendly and helpful. They promptly brought us waters and took our orders. I've personally never seen so many burger options! It was overwhelming! We were all happy with our burger choices. For me, I couldn't resist the pub cheeseburger. My only wish is that it would've had a stronger charcoal flavor. I've been dying for a charcoal burger. But overall, the burgers were super juicy, large and flavorful.

We were there on a Saturday afternoon and the restaurant was quite busy when we arrived, some empty tables when we left. We ordered the fried green bean appetizer to start after reading good reviews on them, I ordered the breakfast burger and my table mate ordered the sticky burger. When the burgers showed up about 20-25 minutes later we were asked if there was anything else we needed. I had to say yes, we were missing the green beans, but at this point we'd just go ahead and cancel that order. No problems. I won't go into details about everything but to point out the negatives that happened on our visit, my bun was relatively burned. Anyone in the kitchen could have caught that and taken a few minutes to grill up another. It took only about a minute for the bottom bun to succumb to the wet burger patty and become a squished piece of wet dough. The other big downfall, and this isn't much the fault of the business, but the place is a cacophonous mess. It doesn't come across perfectly in the video accompanying this review but the place was LOUD. We had to raise our voices to hear one another or speak to the server. Not somewhere you would go to comfortably hang out with someone, sit and visit for a few. Five stars on the whole, one star ding for the few things mentioned. But it's not a total loss, I'm sure we will be back for a second visit and to give an updated review. Maybe I'll try something other than a burger, we shall see! Ciao!

I get their dirt root beer on tap in a frosty mug and YUM! I forgot how much I loved their root beer. So many options on the food menu! I have had one if the wraps and roast beef sandwich. Both times I took leftovers home for a second meal. They really pack on the meat. Don't forget to order a root beer float, but it is also giant size so bring some friends to share! It looks like they have a smaller, private room for a large group and a small game room that's great for kids. Bring your large group, big appetite and love for ice cold root beer and come to Fitz's SoCo!

Couldn't have been a better experience! Sadly the soda filling line in the restaurant wasn't working today, but that didn't keep us from having a great meal & experience. Oldest granddaughter had their kids portion of toasted ravioli with fries, she loved the dish and didn't finish it as it was a large (tho kid's size) portion. Our other granddaughter had their kids cheeseburger with a side salad and devoured it. Both girls had bottomless Fritz's sodas to drink & loved them. My wife had the Mediterranean Salad, which was huge and took most of it home, she said it was delicious! I ordered their Fish & Chips, 2 large lightly battered & fried pieces of haddock on a large bed of fries. The fish was very warm & tasty, I thought it was delicious! I also had a cup of their seafood gumbo to start. It was as good as any gumbo I've made myself, very warm and chock full of shrimp, delicious! We ended our meal with a root beer float, 3 enormous scoops of vanilla ice cream in a mug of Fritz's root beer. The kids devoured the ice cream while my wife enjoyed the root beer and whatever ice cream the kids didn't eat. Our server was terrific, very accommodating and friendly with the kids, he really made our experience enjoyable. We walked out with 2-4 packs of Fitz's soda's for the grandkids to take home with them on Sunday. Great experience, food was warm & inviting, everyone in our party loved every bite. Highly recommend this location for anyone with kids. The experience was terrific!

The service is "ignore until they flag you down." Food is alright, better than average for diners in the area with prices that are very reasonable. I prefer a burger as the meat of a slinger. They use sausage patties. The chili is perfect and the server/chef sent out over medium and easy eggs cooked to perfection. The ice tea is STRONG. Had to ask for a refill. Again, you'll get ignored. I tried some of the filling of the pie--it was just average. This place is clearly a mainstay for South County. I think it's worth coming at least once, but I have to say: I got some looks. It was like people needed to see and hear me speak fluent, accent-less English. Just keep that in mind.
