Wonderful fresh pretzels to satisfy your salt-craving. The mini-pups are made to order and take about 10 minutes- call ahead so that they are ready when you arrive! They are essentially little wieners wrapped in pretzel dough. The perfect amount of pretzel to dog ratio. The cheddar cheese is also a wonderful accompaniment to the pretzels. if mini-pups aren't your thing, they also have 3 different types of full-sized dogs wrapped in pretzels to choose from. I think they have a chicken dog, regular hot dog, and cheddar dog. The table full of different mustards is definitely my husband's favorite thing about this place- they even have to-go containers so that you can grab your spicy/grainy/yellow mustard to eat at home.

My family and I tried Pretzels Boys this weekend. It's located in a strip mall in Sunset Hills. Small store with just a stand up counter in the window for eating. But that was plenty of space for us to chow down on our Pretzel Pups. Big, meaty hotdogs surrounded by their signature pretzel dough, lightly seasoned with sea salt. Hubby had a Pretzel Brat. Also very good especially dipped in the variety of mustards they offer. Pretzels, called softies, come in 2 figure 8 shaped twists that are connected. Their pretzels were soft but crunchy and served warm. I would've like just a little more salt and seasoning in my pretzel. They also sell pretzel nuggets and party sized pretzels. Employees were friendly and efficient. We will be back soon!

Very cute little Pretzel store. It seems mostly designed for large catering-type orders (when we came, a company had ordered 1,200 pretzels for an event which were waiting to be picked up) as well as pick-up and grab-and-go orders. Seems like a great place to grab some pretzels to take to eat somewhere else - there really isn't too much incentive to stay and eat the pretzels here. Pros: -They seem to use a non-standard "shape" for their pretzels. This includes a whole lot less "crossing over" of the dough, so the texture and crunchiness seems to be even all the way through. I didn't have any super-hard chunks in my pretzels like the other way of folding dough seems to occasionally result in. -Pretzels were served warm. They cooled quickly, but if you sealed up the paper bag, it'll help keep it warm. -Location is very new and modern-feeling. Lots of parking as well. No problem parking or getting here. -Very good prices. Pretzel Boy's also offers lots of pretzel options to choose from. Choose bites or full-size pretzels or meats wrapped in pretzel bread, and lots of other choices. -Pretzel Boy's makes and sells cheeses which are perfect for dipping. Each one of the cheeses comes packaged with a lid to allow it to stay in the cup for to-go orders. They have a Jalepeno cheese dip (which isn't super hot. More like a not-mild white cheddar dip with a noticeably hot taste to it), an American cheese dip, and a cheddar one. All of the dips we tried were amazing and totally worth it. -You can watch the staff make the pretzels. It's all on clear display behind the ordering counter. Cons: -Pretzels are relatively tasteless. They don't have much of an overarching taste to them. This leaves them as blank canvases which are perfect for the cheeses that Pretzel Boy's offers. The cheeses are absolutely amazing. -No restrooms. Don't expect to pee here. -Don't really expect to eat here, either. This place is designed to grab and go. There is a small table along the window, but there are no chairs or any other tables. Either stand and eat or take your food to go. Definitely would come back. Yummy pretzels - especially with cheese.

Once I did try the cheddar cheese from there with the pretzels and did not think it was great.

I called a couple other liquor stores around South County and just got a no, we don't have those. Enter Emily (I hope I got that right) who was so nice on the phone, she walked around the store till she found what she was looking for, the display of Jack Daniels Country Cocktails. She gave me info on what different kinds they had and the cost and told me where to find them when I got there. She was so sweet! She was off by the time I got there but Alec took her place. I got lucky on the best employees that night or something! I found the cocktail bottles I needed and opted to go with the 12 pack in a variety pack. I hadn't been to Friar Tuck in a bit so I wandered around and then went to the front to look at the mini selection. I love the mini bottles and take the time to look at all of them. When Alec was done ringing up a customer, he started pointing out cool mini's. Great attitude and so super friendly. He ended up showing me some really cool glitter drinks and talked about the Advent kit. I walked out with about 6 mini's and the Advent kit of sparkly drinks that will be fun for our annual Christmas party with friends. These two employees are a definite asset to the store. The store has a great selection of everything you can imagine. Besides the mini choices, they do have a section of beers and seltzers that you can purchase individually. Lots of cold choices or purchase off the shelf.

The tasting room is at the back of the store and set up with high top half tables set for four. We had four, so it was great. We chose the back near the food spread, which looked awesome. Laura indicated she had done the shopping for the charcuterie spread. It was perfect for the wine tasting; I felt the food items were a great pairing with the South American wines. I marveled at the tasting pour spout on the wines so the exact amount was poured for everyone. Pretty cool. Both Laura and Noah did a great job on answering questions as they were pouring the samples. Laura was very knowledgeable on the presentation on screen and confident in her dialog. I learned about growing grapes in the South American regions, the grapes, and the wine. We ended up tasting 9 different wines ranging in price from $9.99 to $24.99, all very reasonable. I enjoyed the Ed Edmundo Pinot Noir the most but every wine we sampled was good. Check out their classes!

Location location location, the parking lot services save on liquor, ace hardware, and Aldi making…read moreit a weekly stop for me. I like shopping at save on while I'm there. The staff is friendly, the store vibe is welcoming, and there is a nice selection of liquor and beers. If I may give some constructive criticism without being too negative because it's still a five star location. It would be about the wine selection and organization feels very basic. I am not a huge wine guy but I prefer a store that searches out delicious authentic wines at a reasonable price over the big box names and the sections sometimes overlap with the categories above. Also the lemonchello sections needs a lemonchello creme just fyi. There is a fantastic selection of whiskey and bourbon here, one of my favorite trys has been the Penelope brand, cool anti cancer bottle! As well as some names and bottles you'd struggle to find else where, Blanton's for example is an easy find here, even several choices of. The beer selection is vast and you can find some things you don't see elsewhere. Recently there is a really nice Warsteiner variety pack that is 5/5 as well. Long review from me, I had a lot to say after shopping here for a while. Since the lot opened, I am rarely at schnucks across the street and loving the simplicity and prices of shopping here instead. Thanks save on team for the great service
