Hosting my first Thanksgiving time was running out and I was needed just one thing to be taken off my plate. Bring in Randall's Wine and Spirts Ballwin location. I was hoping to order and do a contactless pick up but to my surprise I was able to order delivery. Not only delivery but super-fast, and very in touch delivery. I received emails and texts with delivery information and could not be more ecstatic. It was such a blessing to have wines, hard liquor, and even some moon shine brought to my house. I did not even know this was possible. Randall's always goes above and beyond. I do enjoy shopping in the store, but this service is amazing and above and beyond. Thanks to Randall's I was able to have each family members favorite adult drinks with out having to take time out of the house. This literally made each family member feel extra special that I knew what they each prefer. I will be restocking before Christmas. I also plan on giving a lot of those mini bottles near the cash registers as adult stocking stuffers. read more

First time at this location. The second that you turn in it is straight forward. Race is in the parking lot. Walking in it's nice and open and you don't feel overwhelmed with all the rules of liquor and alcohol in the store. They have nice carts to help you handle anything that you desire to put in it. Randall's is one of my go-to spots when I have to request an alcoholic beverage I am unable to locate on my own. They will request a product for you if possible which is helpful. They have a huge liquor selection at reasonable prices which I appreciate. My favorite location is the Jefferson store by far, because they have a wider variety of options. The staff here is worthless. No one wants to get out from behind the counter and help. Today I went searching for something and asked for help and the 20 something year old guy with glasses pointed at the wall across the room. There are hundreds of options and rather then spend 20 something minutes, searching for the item that I came in looking for I walked over to a female associate who is helping another customer handed her the another item that I had grabbed on my own said here you go you can put this back for me. I'm going someplace that actually helps people. Here's the funny part. Only After I did that and walked out of the building and got into my car he decided to get out from behind the counter to gossip about why I left. I will never step foot in that place again. I keep trying this place bc I love the FH location, but these folks are just terrible. Super unfriendly, unknowledgeable, and unhelpful. Sorry but it's true. Every time I buy something there it's a bad experience. Been trying to buy an autographed whiskey barrel they had there for months but whenever I went in, no one knows how to sell it to me. Now it's gone and no one knows where it went!? The most recent trip, I bought 3 bottles online and 1 more when I went to pick it up. When I asked for a box, it was like I was asking for a kidney. So after being a long time customer of Randall's on South Jefferson I decided to finally check out the store closest to my office while running some errands on my lunch hour and I have to admit that I am very happy to have Randall's so close. From when you first walk in you are almost overwhelmed, large open environment with a huge selection of beverages to make any evening, party or social gathering a blast. I casually browsed the wine selection before making my way back to the local beer section. I was on a mission to leave with some quality local beer to enjoy over the weekend. The local selection is large however I decided on 4 Hands Brewing Company's Pyrus Saison and a Seitz Farm Terroir Lager which is a limited release by Urban Chestnut. I did continue to browse the spirits selection and I have to admit that this location seems larger than the city location. There is even a small tasting area. Once I managed to get to the front the friendly cashier informed me of their VIP Program, which offers gets you 10% Discount on your next purchase after joining, Special VIP Sales, Discounts for Tastings and Events, and even advanced notice on special reserve or limited release items. You also receive 10% off during your birth month. Also upon checking in on Yelp you receive 1 free item from their box of goodies, which is essential product schwag. I happened to get a Capitan Morgan ornament, a Wild Turkey shot glass and a keychain. Not too shabby! Overall Randall's offers the best value in Saint Louis, yes their stores are pretty simple but that helps keep the cost down. read more

On a mission Saturday for Redd's ale (strawberry, apple and green apple) for my oldest son: 26 in September -- of age. Checked in on Yelp before I went into the store. I got a free "something" from the goody box. Nice surprise. Walked in, no greetings. I was OMO (on my own). Got a cart. Scanned the aisles. Never been here before. Had any associate been watching new patrons, they would have seen a deer in the headlights. This place is called wine and spirits. I was seeking ale. Thinkin', gol, maybe they don't have ale or beer. Every aisle well-labeled with spirit names. And I saw a big wine section. But I'm there for something else, not to browse. Finally, at the end of one sort-of center aisle, I saw a Blue Moon logo. I headed there. Nearly making a bee line for that Blue Moon logo. Thinking ale is beer. What do I know? This aisle is full of mixers, carbonated beverages and sauces. I was on my way to beer. Luckily, I was perusing the offerings in the aisle, and found what I sought. Redd's . . . in all flavors I needed. Right there. So, I get to checkout. Very friendly clerk. She rang up my purchases, and offered a box for the ale. Then I showed her my Yelp check-in "prize." Baffled. Said she'd only worked there a month. Called another associate up, who gave me a Crown Royal bag with a keychain inside. Oh, whoopee. Completed my purchase. Associate asked if I was a member of Randall's Club. No, first time here. So, I joined, but had to fill out a form. I looked at the poor guy behind me in line and apologized. That's so awkward. He was very kind and said it was OK. Then the associate who gave me the Crown Royal bag with keychain went into the box again to offer me a different prize: a six-pack of wine glass charms, a better prize for me. So we swapped. I returned the cart into the store, after using a dang forklift to get the box into my car, said forklift being my arms. It seems not all patrons return their carts into the store. read more

Randall's has a great selection of beer, wine and liquor the only down fall is they have nothing cold. So if your in a hurry to drink beer at least you'll have a wait tell it gets cold are drink it what ice in your beer. They have a nice variety of craft beer. Most of the time they have a someone giving out samples of liquor and wine. I don't normally come here because Lukas Liquor has way more beer to choose from and most of it is cold. read more

Holy booze heaven. Randall's seriously has everything. From craft-beer to 18 packs of PBR you can find it here. Seriously, their selection is huge. It's fairly spacious and they have a ton of stock. The other awesome thing about Randall's is besides their selection of wine, beer, and liquor they have every mixer known to man. If you're looking to stock your home bar or prepare for a party this is the place to go. They have tons of premium stuff, too. We've stopped into a couple locations and just wanted to know that your pricing on your bourbon (Blanton's, Old Fitz, Weller 12, etc.) is absolutely heinous and predatory. Insisting people spend 100 dollars just to have the ability to purchase a bottle that is priced well over double retail is an absolute joke and you should be ashamed of yourselves. My husband and I have been VIP members with you for a while and have spent thousands and thousands of dollars with you, but that ends today due to how absolutely shady you guys have decided to handle your allocated bottles. Wow, I've visited 4 of 4 Randall's locations. I should get a prize or something. Wait a minute, with the yelp check-in special, I did: a "free item from the box of goodies." Okay, it was just a Red Stag key ring. But that's all right, because I go to Randall's for the good selection of wine and micro-brews at very good prices. For instance, Cupcake Sauvignon Blanc was $6.99, and I've seen it for $9.00 - $12.99 at several places during recent months. So that's check-in special enough for me. read more

Randall's is a treat for those who love booze. I had been to their location on Jefferson but this was my fist visit to this location. Wow, what a place. They have an amazing selection of beers, alcohol and wines. The only downer is that they do not have any cold beer. However, the beer selection is really extensive and they have some great brews you will not find in any local grocery. They also have a pretty nice selection of shooters if you want to grab someone a random shot on the way out. read more

Randall's is a great store. I've been to the one on Jefferson more than this one on Manchester but this still has it going on. I mostly go for the Hitachino Nest Beer. This is a Japanese beer that's difficult to find and I love it. I usually buy the White Ale but went in the other day to buy the Red Rice Ale. Great selection will keep me coming back! read more

We spend about 5k a year on wine and a good chunk of that used to go here. Unfortunately a recent bad experience has put an end to that. They have a section of wine that is "Buy one get one for $0.05". I picked up a bottle of Alberto Conti Toscana and one of Alberto Conti Montepulciano, both in the bogo section and both the same price. When I got home and looked at the receipt they had charged me full price for both bottles. I called and was told that they had to be identical items, evidently that is in the fine print on the sign. To me that just seems totally dishonest. Most places with bogo specials will charge full price for the more expensive one and discount the cheaper one, or in this case where both were the same price just treat it as a standard bogo. I can think of no reason not to do this unless you are trying to trick customers into paying double. At the very least the cashier should have pointed out that I was not getting the discount. Punishing your customers for wanting variety is just a good way to send them elsewhere. read more

Coming from a local family of restaurateurs, I never write a review on Yelp unless it's boring but positive. My dad and I went to a nearby Indian restaurant which was fantastic and figured we would grab some beer. Although we racked up about $250 in product from the store (and are members) one person on the staff took a look at my dad and I...we asked him a question and dismissed the question and told us how he had to put away product. The girl at the register stared at us like we were stealing something. After living away from St. Louis for 7 years and returning to help out with the family restaurant, I gotta say this is the worst customer experience I've had in the area and why I don't like venturing to south county. I used to love Randall's. I will never go back. They are now charging $100 for Weller antique. You can buy this on wine searcher for $40. It retails for around $20. They're also charging $47 for eagle rare which isn't very rare and $50 for a $20 bottle of sazerac. $999 for a bottle of old rip van winkle 10 year. Have you lost your minds? I like patronizing local stores and supporting small businesses but they're rude and they're ripping people off. Enjoy you 400% markups and warm beer. I'll be shopping at total wine and wine and cheese where they treat people with respect and charge $20 for Weller 12 and $30 for eagle rare. Amend: A pleasant surprise - they are raffling 4 bottles van winkle 12 for $59.99. Kudos for listening to your customers. read more

Avoid this store at all costs. Regular staff is pretty cool but the owner is a piece of you know what. He treats people like crap. If you want allocated whiskies, be prepared to pay upwards of 3x the price you can get at other stores. Weller 12 year is a $30 bourbon and they are charging $149. Old Weller Antique is a $22 bourbon and they are charging $100. Absolutely INSANE. Do yourself a favor and shop elsewhere. It is crazy what is going on here. This places the size of a Costco but actually sells stuff you really want. I love the discounts right when you walk in, those are really valuable for an alcoholic like me who wants to booze up on the cheap. I couldn't fit anymore in the cart once i passed the super clearance section, (See above reason) but it's nice to know normal folks who have control of their drinking have a wide assortment of spirits to choose from when visiting St. Louis. read more

After always shopping at the Randall's off Jefferson, it was nice to see West County get their own Randall's. Staff here is uber friendly and helpful. Beer selection is solid here, with plenty of styles to choose from.Prices are competitive with the other beer markets around. Well worth your time and money. read more

Review summary: If you want an expensive selection with amazing staff and a welcoming environment..... Total Wine is less than a mile down the road. I have never bought from this store because I have a preferred liquor store right across the street from my house. But through a search on the internet I had been told they had a certain sake that I have been looking everywhere to buy. We enter the store, it looks like they just took a concrete room and set up shelves and hung passer signs from the ceiling letting customers know where each type of alcohol is. There are some crude decorations but looks as though they put nearly no time or money into making their place look presentable. And I know this is a chain so I was slightly confused. It looked as if they had just opened. I start searching for sake, which is not a marked section. A man asks me how I'm doing and we talk about where the sake is. He brings it to me and asks me what I'm looking for. I told him that I found it on the Randall's website. He condescendingly said to me "just because it's on a website doesn't mean we will have it in or store" I said "I understand that... I don't see it. Is the any way to order it?" Just then, who looks to be the manager came up and interrupted to say "what are you looking for?" I told him and he was like "and you said someone told you that we have it here?" I said "no I found it on the internet" he just stared at me and I said "I found it on the Randall's website. And he interrupted me before I could finish to say in the SAME tone as the man before him "just because it's on the internet doesn't mean it will be in our stores." I said "okay.. I understand that.. can you order it?" He said "I don't know. I don't know. I'll be back" and comes back after 10 minutes to say "that specific bottle isn't anywhere in Missouri alright?" I said "ok thank you" And he walked away. read more

Huge selection, great prices and the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. We're here about once a week and just love it more each time we go. Note that there's no cold beer, so plan ahead and make sure you have time to chill anything you buy here. Helps keep the prices down, though, which is worth it to me. read more

Oh man, this location is pretty dope. Mostly because the staff was bending over backwards to help me on my first trip there. I also checked in on Yelp and it said something about getting an item from their mystery bag of stuff which cracked me up! So silly! A male employee took me (and Sean) back to a secluded little room in the back of the store (ohh sounds racy) where I got to pick a freebie promo type of item, and I ended up with a Jose Cuervo aluminum shotglass, haha. It's cute. I grabbed my usual Eschelon pinot noir, and that was it, but I think I'd go back to this location soon to buy some rumchata or something. I could wander the aisles for hours just reading all the crazy liquor labels. They also have a bar and pinball machines in the back and Sean mentioned something about reading that the pinball money goes to a charity. Pretty cool. I also didn't think this store would be as big as the one on Jefferson but it is! And a little less sketch too, hehe. Right across from Uncle Bill's so it makes for a good "get Kate happy" after we "get Sean happy" at Uncle Bill's. ;) read more

Randall's routinely has the highest prices in town. This business is a firm believer in price gouging and does not care about their local customers. They have bottles of Weller and Allocated bourbon is on sale for literally exponentially higher prices than MSRP. Sometimes these prices exceed 5-6x MSRP and are much higher than the secondary market. They also try to sell empty bottles of Pappy Van Winkle, which are routinely used on the secondary market to forge bottles and sell them to unsuspecting buyers. The recent empty bottle of Van Winkle they had for sale also appeared to be fake. I do not recommend this business to anyone. read more
