We went there early morning at 10ish! No line quick and easy! Grabbed our stuff asked some questions and we were good to go! They have special every day of the week so look out for those or ask! I haven't had a pretzel from the Philly Pretzel Factory since I visited Philadelphia in 2018. Since it was 19°, I figured, why not, since I had another fifty minutes of drive time left, and it was approximately 3.6 miles from the highway. Well, no dining area, it's comparable to a Domino's Pizza location. So, it's basically grab and go. No worries, if people can text and drive, I can hold a five-ring pretzel and drive while shoving it down my pie hole. Lol It was excellent, and they have honey mustard for dipping, which is my favorite. They also have mustard in different flavors for purchase. Also, the restaurant was clean, but there were no restrooms, and again, no seating. read more

Didn't visit the shop; saw their trailer at an airshow. At the end they walked around passing out pretzels as they closed up, to guests but also to other vendors who had worked hard all day. That was awesome. And it was a good pretzel. Nothing incredible, but pretty good: big, soft inside with a harder shell, sprinkled with salt. NO! Worst pretzels of my LIFE! I was watching my brother's stupid wrestling tournament at fairmont Highschool and was CRAVING a pretzel. So I begged my father for his credit card and I purchased myself a pretzel and a Gatorade, with was 10/10 btw. But anyways, I sit down, and as I take a bite IT WAS HARD. CRUNCHY. Philly Pretzel Factory mass-produces yummy pretzels - and they do a pretty decent job of it too. The wide variety of dips and sauces helps bring out the good taste of the pretzels, and pretzels are well-salted and served warm. I wish there was interior seating - or that pretzels were served in better packaging designed to keep them warm and delicious until you made it home, but this is still a place I'll be stopping at regularly. PROS: -Good pretzels! Each pretzel is genuinely just "bread and salt" - zero fat means very little butter or oil is added to the pretzel. The pretzels are a bit on the tasteless-side, pretzel-wise, but that's what the dip and sauces are for! The blandness of the pretzels means they go perfectly with any particular dip you choose to pick up! -Pretzels are served hot! They were a nice temperature of warm that was palatable - though hot - to munch on as soon as we reached the car in the parking lot. -Be aware that the pretzels are pretty filling too. I'd expect most people to only be able to eat 2-3 pretzels - at most. -Very affordable pretzels too. You could easily come here and pick up 25 pretzels, feed a whole group, and pay virtually nothing (compared to other group feeding options) for it. Their pretzels are definitely priced low while their sauces and specialty items go up on the cost side. -Wide variety of sauces and dips. Make sure to check the nutritional information on their website if you're concerned about calories, but they do have a huge variety of dips to choose from. There's regular cheese, spicy cheese, mustards, chocolate (!!!), cinnamon butter (!!!), marinara, and more. Each one of these sauces is sold by the covered-cup, so again, very to-go friendly. -Philly Pretzel Factory offers a free Rewards card. You can sign up and you'll receive 5% back in rewards. I haven't tried this out, but it is offered - and right at the register. CONS: -There is no interior seating. This place is entirely designed to pick up your order to-go. As part of the magic of this place is warm, delicious pretzels, taking them the entire drive home defeats a bit of the magic. -The Cinnamon Sugar Pretzels, unsurprisingly, are on the "very messy" side. Even with the wrapper and the bag it comes in as "damage control", you can still expect quite a bit of it to get well, everywhere. Try not to eat that pretzel anywhere where you're concerned about a mess (or missing some sugar when you clean up afterwards). -The regular cheese doesn't taste like anything amazing to write home about. It honestly tasted like it came right out of a mild cheese chip dip at the grocery store. But it also only has 80 calories per cup, so if you want a dip without the calories, it seems like a good compromise. -Our order (10 pretzels) was served in a brown paper bag. It didn't seem like much of luxurious packaging - or packaging that was likely to help the pretzels stay warm until we made it home to munch on them. read more

I have been going to the original ones inPhilly for years (20) and glad to see one in the area. I drive 45 minutes each way and love it. Great product and unlike those fake sugar coated ones these are fresh and healthy. I have not been disappointed yet. They have great service and are easy to work with. Not a huge fan. Personally I much prefer Auntie Ann's to this place. The 2 times I've been here the rivets and pretzel dogs were really dry and overcooked. Pretzels should be nice and chewy to bite into but these tasted like they were sitting out all day. The prices are pretty good though but I probably won't be back. read more

Came in on a Friday at 3:50 PM. They literally Had FIVE pretzels ready. And we're preparing "large orders" in the kitchen. All we wanted was a shaker of the rivets and a box. We were told it would be 8 Min as they had a massive amount of rivets sitting on the table. The employees working at the time were stand offish as if it were the customers fault they were out of pretzels. Extremely disappointed as we typically enjoy visiting this establishment. read more

Nothing special here, rather bland pretzel and the sugar cinnamon twist was just plumb messy word of advice, do not eat them in the car. The staff were nice and very helpful no complaints there. I am sure there are folks out there that like the product the are peddling but my two cents don't go out of your way to go there. read more

I tried the pretzel dog, and have to be honest, I think I like Auntie Annies dogs better. Also bought some of the Rivets and brought them to share in the office. Well received, especially the cinnamon dip. Will definitely be back, want to try a couple of the sandwiches. read more

I grew up in Philly and the soft pretzel is a staple there. I still go back to Philly to visit my family twice a year. I always get a cheesesteak and a bag of soft pretzels. These are exactly those pretzels. Just fantastic to have them out here. I will stop in anytime I am nearby. Love them! read more
