I've take advantage of the store lots of times.i love that they give you rewards every so often without you having to buy anything else. Well, today is my birthday and I had freebies to pick up. I gave them my phone number to look up what rewards I had. I was due a free pretzel. There were 3 young kids behind the counter and they were awesome. I'm so sorry I forgot the girl's name, but she asked me what I was doing for my birthday. When I told her it's tough having a birthday on July 5th because everyone is away for July fourth, especially this year for the 250th birthday of our country. Prepaid for a small tray of pretzels on a random Sunday. The time for pick up was 1:45 when I put the order in days before. When I went to pick up the manager said I had to wait 10 minutes but the tray wasn't ready until 2:10. That was 25 minutes past when the order was supposed to be picked up. I want to start by saying that we have always LOVED this location. I've ordered many time for the Mepham football team. I was told by the manager today that there is a new owner. It shows. The young woman took an order from me for a party for the Wantagh Parade. She said she was the manager. . I asked if I could order a platter with shamrock pretzels on top she said no. I explained I would pay extra. She said no. She explained to me that the shamrock pretzels were only for the buckets. I said ok and ordered a bucket. There are 2 sizes of shamrock pretzels I asked if I could order the smaller ones and pay extra . She said no. I ordered 1 bucket and paid $7 for an extra Shamrock pretzel. She allowed this. I asked her to put it in the bucket as we were headed straight to the parade. She said that she would. Her attitude when ordering was HORRIBLE. The woman behind me when I ordered commented that she was rude. When my husband picked up the Bucket , she had put the extra shamrock k pretzel in a separate bag.. Not displayed in the bucket. I was upset. As it was being put out on a buffet table for the pipers. I drive back upset and asked her why. I then said could you please display it she said no I can give you the sticks to do it yourself. At this point I lost it and I did use profanity I said how fn hard is it to do this. Philly Pretzel Factory in Bellmore NY off of Jerusalem Avenue in the corner store. They were open today after 6pm on a 4th of July weekend and what I saw was very interesting. I saw a cute little store with decorated windows, (See Pix) a billboard sign in the front; and what I found were welcoming workers. How I went in; I parked in one of the angular spots on the north side of the street, crossing traffic safely, (See Pix) I saw a lady bringing a bunch of containers out from the store. I asked her about the place. She said she has been coming there for a while and they have really nice and fresh things. So, I went in. Yes, I bought a salted soft fresh pretzel with a cheese dip. A crew of 4, what do I say, adorable young girls, Allie in the front and the others doing various chores in the open view back area. I found it such a pleasure to find such friendly and what appeared to be hard working workers there. (See pix) I asked out loud to the crew, if anyone knew how long this cute little store has been here. Seems it has been there for about 7 years. (Give or take / the 1 to 2 year Pandemic) The place appeared clean and the girls working there all wore mask and company tee shirts. I saw lots and lots of different kinds of Pretzel creations for sale. There's quite a variety of them. I did take menus of which one side says the regular items and the other side has larger amounts for purchase. Allie also directed me to the wall menu of the many different kinds of dips available. This looks lace is actually pretty good and a little unexpected. It's not just regular pretzels. The best item, for me, was the Cheesesteak Pretzel. It's hot and gooey and yummy....and worth the drive of app 30 mins I have to get it. They, also, have pretzel nuggets with dipping sauces and pretzel dogs, both are good. We were just passing by and saw this place and decided to see what it was. Got some pretzels, pepperoni pizza pretzel and a spicy hotdog. OMG!!! The pretzels were warm and good. The spicy hot dog was so good but the pepperoni pizza pretzel was soooo good that I just gulp it down. My big mistake was not tasting it right there and then because I sure would have bought more. Been wanting to try this place for a long time. First heard about this place from Undercover Boss, but just realized recently there was a location on Long Island. Unfortunately the pretzels were not as great as I had hoped. Perhaps had I gone at a busier time or happened to arrive when the pretzels come fresh out of the oven, but the ones I got were a bit too hard and tasted almost stale. The salt wasn't too overbearing though, so I liked it in that sense. The best thing they had were the dipping sauces. The spicy mustard is REALLY spicy. The honey mustard was their best sauce. I'm a big fan of soft pretzels, but Philly Pretzel Factory pretzels weren't all that soft. I'd take Auntie Anne's over these any day. read more

Ordered the family bucket for a delivery. Apparently, they have not figured out when you put hot pretzel nuggets in a bucket and Oreo feed to cover it with a plastic top, this will cause mass condensation. Has to throw out 20 nuggets as they were half saturated/wet. Top layer AND bottom layer as there was actually liquid on the bottom of the bucket. Adding to the frustration and disappointment was the fact that most of the salt had dissolved as well because of trapped heat. This is your business. If you don't realize that an almost airtight plastic cover would do this, you're in the wrong business. read more

Ordered a small tray of rivets and 2 sauces on Wednesday morning for Thursday afternoon (4th of July). I understood they were busy so I'm not surprised, but our ordered was cancelled 45 minutes before pickup because they "couldnt fullfil it". We went to the store to inquire why, and they didn't say anything besides that they "couldn't complete it," as they're making more infront of us, and then asked if i wanted to order anything else. I understand there's a large amount of orders on the 4th of July and very minimal staff, but then they should prepare accordingly; dont take more orders after a certain time, or cancel orders EARLIER, not within the hour of pickup. That should be a given in any customer service establishment. I know my order was cancelled so that the employees had less on their plate, and I completely understand how frustrating it can be on a busy holiday, but my order was placed in advanced & if there was an issue, I should have been directly contacted. It was very frustrating to have my meal arrangements altered at the last second; my order was paid for, therefore, shouldve been fulfilled. I love pretzels and they sell some great pretzels. I got 6 pretzels and brought some home. These aren't your mall food court pretzels with butter these are real philly style pretzels. If you have ever gone to a hot dog cart in the city and gotten a pretzel these are what you hoped those would be. Hot dog cart pretzels have basically become inedible over the years. I usually order their trays for family parties, holidays, etc. If you do want to place this kind of order, make sure to call a few days in advance! I've ordered so far for Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve and Super Bowl with a few small parties in between. They will also require you pay in advance over the phone with your credit card. From what I remember the 1/2 tray of rivets which was like 125ct or so came with 2 large sides of sauce of your choice and was $25. Great deal I say! They offer a few coupons on their website too. Ive been going to Philadelphia for years and years and always came back with a pretzel from Philly Pretzel Factory. They are the best pretzels in the world (in my opinion anyway). When I saw that a location opened in Bellmore, I had to check it out. I live on North Shore of Suffolk County, a good 35+ miles from Bellmore. But it was totally worth the drive to get these pretzels. They were exactly like the ones I get in Philly. I cannot be any happier to know I can get my favorite pretzels outside of Philly. The missing one star is just because it is far from me. So really unless I'm already in Nassau or even on the South Shore of Suffolk its a little bit of a hike. Lets face it, we spend enough time in traffic on the daily and as much as I love these pretzels, my hatred for the traffic on the Southern State usually prevails so I get to eat them far less than I would like. read more

The pretzels are very good. But the service leaves a bit to be desired. I tried ordering a tray of pretzels a day in advance of Christmas Eve. I was told that the location was only going to allow walk ins on Christmas Eve. Thats entirely okay because I understand I reached out rather late. So I called at 10am and was told to come in and place an order. It should take approximately 30 minutes to get a platter together. So I showed up to place my order around lunch and was told that the tray wouldn't be ready until 630 pm?!? That's 5 hours from when I was going to place the order. Ok so the pretzels were ok. They were just a tad bit doughy. Crust could have been a bit more crusty, if you know what I mean lol. Just didn't have that bite. DO NOT get the cinnamon sugar. It's just too doughy and overpowers the amount of cinnamon and sugar they put on it. They should sweeten the dough for that particular pretzel. Oh and there's no seating. Picked up a tray of pretzels for my mom for Super Bowl Sunday and what a disaster it was. I went around 11:30 AM and the line was down the whole shopping center. I ended up waiting two hours in the freezing cold. Personally, I think the whole set up was ridiculous. For a business that knows Super Bowl Sunday is one of their biggest days of the year they did not have anything in place to handle the volume of orders. They did not accept preorders (ridiculous if you ask me) and they had people waiting online in the freezing cold not even offering samples or coffee. Just seems like poor planning and management and although the pretzels were alright I would never wait on a line for them again. I just hope they figure out how to manage busy days otherwise they could be in trouble! read more

Any other events, I will surely go there for a platter to take with me. The one downside is that they won't take orders for pick up on a Saturday. Why?
