This location appears to be under new ownership. I had been going to this location since it opened and was very satisfied. However, when I visited the location recently, it was dirty and unclean. Also, there was not much of a variety of pretzels, as in the past. Needless to say, I will not be going back to this location, as cleanliness is very important to me in food establishments. read more

I had a great experience here. Have tried the other location before. I had a happy accident and bought 25 pretzels. They made them fairly quickly. They were delicious. When I saw the box of pretzels come to me, my eyes opened wide. I was so excited. 25 pretzels for $18. Not bad at all. They gave us a whole bottle of mustard. Also you can get different dipping sauces such as pumpkin, brownie mix, cheese, honey mustard and others. So so good. I pass this place everyday on my way to work and i finally stopped in. the first time i came i noticed that had brownie butter, but it was sold out so i was intrigued and when i returned they had it, out of this world delicious such a tease its a small container but probably better for the waistline that is is portioned out that way. you walk in and can watch pretzels being made and put on the conveyor belt. the young girl behind the counter made a good recommendation for the cinnamon butter which paird so well with the pretzel so i would give that a second best. read more

Great job Philly pretzel. We brought in 100 for a beer garden party and they were a big hit!! I took them and placed them in little paper bags and they became our appetizer to kick off the night. Let's say that I sort of bumped into this spot because I was in the area. I'm not a big fan of pretzels because I am trying to eliminate excess carbs from my diet. However, I was not disappointed with my visit to this pretzel spot. My pretzels were hot , soft and fresh. I chose the hot mustard. The service was excellent as well. It appears to be family run. There are party platters and even pepperoni topped pretzels and a Philly Steak pretzel. I think what's missing a hot dipping sauce or iceing similar to Auntie Annie. I will definitely consider an order for catering when I have another event. Anyway, this place is worth a visit if you like pretzels and for treats for a kids party or large gatherings. read more

Started serving the pretzel rivet tray at one of our backyard parties. Such a hit that if I were to skip it once I'm sure I'd have a riot on my hands. The 130-rivet tray is just right for 15 or so people. That's a pretty impressive rivet/person ratio. Every once in a while there may be a half dozen left over at the end, and people fight over them! I've wanted to try Philly Pretzel Factory for some time now but never really got around to it. I received a gift card for Postmates for my birthday and decided today was the day to make it happen. When I ordered, I thought the pretzels would've been mini sized (no complaints!) so I was confused at how big the bag was when it was delivered. Their prices are very affordable (20 of these for $12!), you have the option to choose dipping sauces, or different pretzel flavors. They even have a Philly cheesesteak pretzel! Had no idea about this place until I purchased a coupon on local flavor. So happy that I did. Ordered a small rivet tray with honey mustard and cheddar dipping sauces. Service was very friendly and polite. Everyone observing physical distancing and elevated food safety regulations. Masks and gloves we're being worn by all employees. Pretzels are great and so are their smoothies! You can't go wrong with the prices or freshness or their products. My only complaint/suggestion would be to bake them a little longer. Too many times I find them to be a bit doughy and barely any crisp on the outside. I understand it's a challenge because no one (myself included) wants a dry or burnt pretzel. If you offered some that were baked a little longer, I'm sure they would sell regardless, while also providing some insight into what you're customers actually prefer! read more

Review on The Philly pretzel factory: Initially impressed with how they had the inside closed off to customers and everyone inside was wearing gloves etc. We ordered our pretzels and stepped aside so the person behind us could order. The man placed his money on the counter and the worker came to the counter picked it up with gloves on went to the register got him his change gave it back to the customer. He then proceeded to rearrange the pretzels without ever changing his gloves! I was seriously appalled at this! I'm sorry but now more then ever we need to practice proper hygiene and I'm sorry handling money touching someone's hand and the counter then touching food without changing gloves is just wrong! read more

First review ever. I placed an order for Christmas Day - my mistake. It was for Christmas Eve - no one ever called me on Thursday to say an order was ready. Went in today just to see if there was anything They could do. Girl behind counter said she texted manager and would make a new one just this once. It would be ready in 15-20 mins. I said I would come back. When I came back, the owner was nasty. "We always call", "you placed it online and got an email" - I said "you didn't call otherwise I would have picked it up" Again, it was my mistake. But he was nasty after I made a second trip back. I've ordered from here plenty because it's an easy crowd pleaser for a party but I will find another pretzel supplier. Fresh yummy whole pretzels or pretzel nuggets with fun dipping sauces! Perfect for after school snack or a party platter. I love the following dips: spicy cheese, yellow mustard, caramel and brownie batter. The employees are very nice and the place is very clean. I currently reside at the Jersey Shore and was attending my wife's college buddy's block party. We decided to pick up Philly Pretzel for the party. Since I have a friend that has two in Jersey Shore and they are good we figured we bring to event. My wife called a few days early and placed order over the phone. When we got there the guy Michael (Name on receipt) was completing a sale with two young ladies and accepted the cash to complete purchase. He then asked my wife if he can help her and she informed him that she had placed an order over the phone a few days ago. He looked for the order in a book and could not find it, then he said "No problem it will be a few minutes". He walked away and he commenced to handle the pretzels with his hands without using gloves. Mind you the guy baking the pretzels by the oven was using plastic gloves and young lady who surfaced from somewhere, first thing she did was put on gloves. I called Michael over and informed him that she should not be handling the pretzels without gloves, especially after touching cash. He looked at me as if I offended him and continued to handle food without using gloves. I was extremely disappointed because his reaction was like he didn't care. The franchise owner should send his staff to take a Food Sanitary course, explain that they are wearing gloves to protect the public and prevent contamination of food. I would never go there again because as a restaurant consultant I can't support establishments that ignore public health safety. I hope the owner will address the situation and retrain staff. Ok, very excited for a pretzel shop! But then, I tried them. And it's upsetting how disappointing they were. They are a brand new shop. So everything should be fresh and delicious! They definitely need to improve and fast if they don't want to be another closed business! I'm sure they were excited also opening up the new and only pretzel shop in Franklin Square. The pretzels were hard, cold, burnt and not that tasty. If they just work out the pretzel situation ( they are a pretzel shop), I'm sure they could do amazing. Who doesn't love a pretzel. Tried placing an online order days before Super Bowl, but couldn't get through on website; thought they were having website problems. So we called and tried to order over the phone, but were told they're not taking anymore orders! How does a business do that? Love this place! Always great party trays. However after putting in an order for super bowl Sunday 3 weeks ahead a time for a 5pm pickup only to arrive on Super Bowl Sunday to a 45 min wait. I didn't get my pretzels until 6pm after waiting 45 min in the rain very disappointing. read more
