    RAW burger

A Quick way to blow fifty bucks Visited Burger Bite. 3 burgers, 2 fries and 3 drinks. Little slow on the cook and service time. Food came out and took a bite. All three burgers were ordered to be cooked Medium. All three burgers were RAW, Seared top, bottom, and sides, the entire inside was raw. Asked staff and manager if this is what they called medium, they said yes. It was not inedible. DON'T waste your time or money. There are plenty of quality burger joints better than this.

This was my second time eating here, tonight I was in the mood for a turkey burger after my workout. The food takes a little while but it's made fresh so it's worth the wait. If you're in the area, check them out! I ordered a turkey burger (customized w...) lettuce, pickles, garlic Mayo, mushrooms - and sweet potato fries. The fries don't look appetizing (kind of burnt looking) but they were far from that, they were perfect! Perfectly cooked, seasoned... they were delicious. The burger was a bit small for me, I probably could have added a second patty. The bun to burger ratio was off. Regardless it was also very good.

Not too amazed for a burger joint, a bit on the expensive side because of the extra toppings. The bacon was fatty and cold, almost tasted like it was microwaved. The sweet potatoes were crunchy which I love so that's good news! The burger itself wasn't so bad but wasn't so great, I've definitely had better around the neighborhood.

    Hair in my burger.

First time trying this place. Got a Classic burger and Fries..... There was a hair embedded in my burger. Had my tomato not fall out of place while eating, I wouldn't of even noticed, and would have eaten the hair. Very disgusted. Couldn't finish my meal.

I had this place bookmarked for a while. What I'm looking for is a damn good gourmet burger in Long Island. Yesterdays lunch wasn't fancy, it was a good standard burger. I walk into an empty restaurant. Looking at the board, I decide on the Kickin' Spice Bite burger but ordered the Jalapenos on the side. I have a seat. While I'm waiting, I'm looking at the restaurant, its decorated in Halloween props. This is a neighborhood, local burger place. They aren't contending to be gourmet, bougie or fancy. What Burger Bite wants to be is a place that offers prime Angus beef on a fresh roll. That's it. Kinda like your uncle Sal would make in his backyard on the BBQ. Nothing fancy. You want fancy? Add some Miracle Whip to that burger! My lunch was quick, the burger tasted fresh and the bun was plain but fresh as well. All for under $10 bucks. It's better than eating a crappy fast food burger. If you're with clients, Go to the Capital Grill and order a Kobe Beef Burger. When you're at Burger Bite, your getting a standard burger made fresh. Keep rockin' Burger Bite!

I like Burger Bite as a quick, easy and convenient place to pick up a burger on my way home. They're quick, fresh and reasonably priced for burgers and shakes. The burgers are seasoned well enough and I enjoy them whenever I come here. I like that you can customize your burger to your liking. Their fries are pretty good too. They also have a selection of different dipping sauces. I'm one of this people who love to dip there fries with something besides ketchup. Dipping options are Ketchup, Mustard, Mayo, Roasted Garlic Mayo, Chipotle Mayo, Buttermilk Ranch, Honey Mustard, BBQ, Blue Cheese, Sweet & Sour, A1 Steak Sauce, Hot Sauce, Spicy Ranch and there own Special Sauce. Extra side sauce charge of 25 cents which is totally cool. My usual reorders are the following: Classic Bite-American Cheese, Lettuce, Tomato, Pickles, Ketchup Titan Bite-Gourmet Onion Rings, Crispy Bacon, American Cheese, Lettuce, Special Sauce Crispy Mac & Cheese Bites and everything goes down well with a vanilla milkshake of course.

It's been about 4 years since I've been to The Burger Spot, but the food and service is still as great as I remember it to be. I used the ordering service through their website and put in my order for pickup. I walked into The Burger Spot and went to the cashier. My order was behind the counter and ready for pickup. My go to speciality burger is Swiss ($15.95). Swiss comes with swiss, mushrooms, and caramelized onions. Burgers are served with fries. The burger was juicy and just the way I remember it to be. The fries are very crispy and the white sauce it comes with is very good. My husband ordered one of the specials, the Tamarind Cilantro Chicken Sandwich ($16.54). This sandwich is grilled chicken with pepper jack cheese, avocado, arugula, topped with homemade Tamarind cilantro salsa on ciabatta. The sandwich was also served with a side of fries, but you can substitute it for others like he chose 1/2 Sweet Potato / 1/2 Onion Rings for $2.07 more. There were only a few onion rings, but they are big. The sandwich was packed with flavors. The Burger Spot is the spot for burgers and fries. There are a few tables inside and when the weather is nice, there are tables set up outside as well. Definitely check it out if you are in the area!

The people in the group are cool about me drinking coffee, OJ & Seltzer and N/A beers and I'm cool with the fact that they drink, overall they're a pretty good group of people. Last night Tom Perrone a member of 8OCS hosted his first ever vinyl night in Nassau County at Prost. Usually he hosts Vinyl nights in Patchogue at TwoMorrow's Pub. Sometimes he'll host other vinyl nights or afternoons at different locations. So my boyfriend and I were able to go. One of the good things I appreciate about Prost is that it's a bar/restaurant. So if there's something going on and I need to bring my son I'm safely able to do so. I wouldn't bring my 9 year old to just a bar but if it's a bar/restaurant there's nothing wrong with bringing him if I had to. We didn't get a chance to have any food, maybe one day on one of our future visits we will. I had an OJ & Seltzer and a Clausthaler N/A beer. My go to N/A beer for drinking at home has been Athletic Brewery N/A beer but I had a Clausthaler once before at the American Hotel Bar in Sayville and Clausthaler is a good flavorful N/A beer. My boyfriend chose to have a liter of Miller Lite I think. Hanging at Prost was a good time, one of the bars in Garden City that I would suggest checking out!

Dressed casually in this casual setting that was well lit. We came to take advantage of a deal that was advertised "combo BOGO 50% off" within the hours of the promotion, but we were taken advantage of! Asking the employee for the advertised combo he specifically and directly point at the sandwich menu which was significantly higher priced starting at $18. It looks like a steak sandwich, I asked if it was a burger, he stated that it comes like a burger. So we each ordered that and with onion rings. He stated that they come with French fries, we said we wanted to have onion rings for an extra charge. I'm starting to notice a language comprehension challenge in the exchange as he kept saying that the sandwich comes with fries, He later confirms our order minus fries and stated that there's $.75 extra. Sitting down viewing the aesthetics as stated previously, we started observing the menu closer and noticed that the menu says " burger combos" starting at $11. Questions does arise about the promo. Talking to the employee, asking why does the menu say combo and you pointed to the sandwich, his reply was that sandwiches are the only combos that they have. I replied but that sign says sandwiches and the other menu says burger combos and you pointed to the sandwiches, why would you point to the sandwich. I was looking for his guidance into the right direction. If looks could kill, he'd be serving a life sentence. I interpreted the look as he was caught in a trap with no way out because he said they only had one combo. So he admitted, after interrogation that we could have ordered the P. S Burger combo. His tactics to spend my money was misleading in every shape form or fashion. The sandwiches (not a burger even though it looked like a burger) had chunks of steak and was falling apart every time you bit into it, leaving chunks of meat in your mouth, that you must now negotiate in order not to choke. We could have walked away happy and satisfied spending $18 minus tax. Instead I spent $18 on one sandwich for a total of $28.5. ( 2 orders of onion rings and the BOGO) To add, they bring you the food, put a tip jar out, and expect you to tip on top of being taken for $10 extra. So the extra went into revenue, not the tip jar. I actually thought P.S Burger would add to our palate but it's just not going to work out. The employee's actions led us to spend more than intended, and that affected the overall experience. But still.... Inspire more, Yelp more!
