What the Philly Pretzel Factory lacks in the quality of their food, they make up in their marketing and branding. That is how I ended up giving them a try. I called in an order and was somewhat surprised when I was quoting a little over an hour for my order to be ready. Even more shocked when I got there and the food is seemingly premade and just warmed up when it's ordered. The pretzel part of the pretzel dog was thin, rock hard, had a weird after-taste, and was almost cracker-like. Thankfully the dog itself was tasty. The pizza wasn't anything special and I honestly couldn't even tell that it was a pretzel crust. It was kind of dried out and bland. It wasn't bad, but it was the menu item that I was the most excited to try so I'm sure you can imagine the let down. Lastly, I ordered the cinnamon rivet box (picture included). Aside from the delicious dips, the rivets themself had minimal flavor and didn't look like the pictures online hardly at all. I got the butter cream and brownie batter dips. Both were the highlight of of my experience. The finally aspect of my visit that I wanted to mention was the inside of the store. I thought a store where they bake pretzel would smell heavenly, like Auntie Ann's. Instead, it kinda smelled like body odor and cigarettes. I really wanted to like this place, and I'm not saying I won't give it another try, but I guess I had high expectations.

Stopped by here for the first time yesterday for a mid day snack, and was pleasantly surprised with their pricing, selection, and location. This place would be wonderful to cater pretzels from as that is what they are known for, but they are also good for a little snack as well. I am rating the pretzels a 4/5 because while they were good, the outsides were a bit tough so I do think they might have been sitting the warmer box for too long. That being said, even if they were a little stale I finished off the cup! When you purchase a cup, you also get one free dipping sauce which is great as other pretzel places charge for sauce. I will definitely go back to try some fresh pretzels!

I picked up a bucket and small box of their pretzel rivets for a party. I got their cheese and spicy brown mustard for dipping. The pretzel rivets were fresh and warm. The rivets needed more salt on the outside. The brown spicy mustard was excellent, the right amount of mustard and spice. The cheese sauce was just okay. It tasted like melted velveeta. Next time I will request extra salt on the pretzels and I'll make my own cheese dipping sauce.

Unexpected delight! Went in because I passed it on Manchester and decided to go back and try it. Great prices and super nice staff. I ordered some pretzels, dipping sauces and a pizza. The best part was definitely the pizza! Super good, fresh and only $6.50! I'm giving it 4 stars because the pretzels weren't warm. But I will definitely go back to get a pizza!

I was pleasantly surprised by the prices at this place! This whole large gray (and 3 sauces was only around $20!). The pretzels were nicely salted and warm. The mustard and cheese sauces were good! I'd be interested to try their dessert dip. The staff were very nice on arrival to pick up our order.

Crisp outside, chewy inside, fragrant and salty - What more could you ask for? Rhetorical, but I'll answer; cheese! I stopped in on a weekday evening just before closing time. It was my first visit, so I wasn't sure what to get. I was surprised and delighted by the variety of choices. I settled on what looked like a large long pretzel that had pepperoni slices across the top of it. It came with a side of marinara. I was waffling between the pretzel bites and a full sized twist pretzel. The girl that helped me recommended the latter, as they had just come out of the oven. Great choice! The pretzel was warm and soft and deee-licious. I dipped it in warm nacho cheese, having passed on the spicy cheese. Next time, I'll try it with mustard. I can't wait to get back in there. :)

Heck yeah it's messy, but they've got napkins! The best part of Steve's? It's a cool bar with good draft beer, cocktails, mocktails, and sodas and such, fantastic vibes, and awesome people. We were taking to-go as we had one more stop to make on the way home. He took our order at the counter and answered a few questions with ease and a great attitude. Beyond the chili cheese fries, I ordered a hot dog plain with a side of the smokey, pepper mustard I love. I took a bite of the hotdog before I put it away for my next days lunch. We tried the chili cheese fries, and they were really good. I like the chili and could order that on its own. We know Steve's has the best fries! So my husband got the hot dog and gave me a bite. Ive never had a Chicago dog. But after my one bite I started to feel regret about my hamburger. I wanted to fight my husband for his yummy dog. And I had buyers remorse until I bit into my hamburger. People this place is devine this burger is placed safely on the best bread. Ok i didn't do my homework I cant tell you what kind of bread they use on the hotdogs or hamburgers but its uniquely yummy. Just a devine experience. The fries they shake Larry's on the hot fries. The cheese melted on the fries is the best choice in my opinion the nacho cheese is ok it has a after taste. Now the cherry coke was amazing they dont make fountain drinks like this no more. Look by the power invested in me by yelp I humbly announce them to be a powerhouse of flavor and a must try. Take the family or a date. Grandfather will love this place. I simply ate to fast so no pictures this visit! Byè

Looks like they have been around for a long time and the k terror is covered with signed headshots of old tv personalities. The hot dogs all looked good, so I tried the Big Herm dog, which is a footling version of the Chicago dog. It comes in 2 regular buns and was cut in half, so basically 2 of the regular. It was tasty, hot and covered in all of the right Chicago dog toppings! Wonderful, and clearly what this place is known for! The fries and drink were not as good. Lemonade tasted like a mix and was super sweet and the fries were super salty. If it wasn't for ketchup, I'm not sure I could have eaten them. Almost everyone I saw in there got cheese sauce on theirs, and I wonder now if it was to cover the salt taste. Fun place to try, and clearly a part of local history.
