I think Yelp should provide businesses with the ability to audit some of the bunk reviews. I'll say is that all elements of working with these folks were what I consider meet 5-Stars! Communication and responsiveness: 5 stars. Professionalism and business credentials: 5. Initial project review and RFP stage: 5. Execution and scheduling of the work: 5. Professionalism and efficiency of the onsite crew: 5. Fees: 5. I give Michelle 10 stars as most of my customer experience was with her leading the management effort. I contracted TEI to install a City of Scottsdale Permitted Level 2 EV charger in my garage. Through providing pics and info via email/text/phone, they didn't need to waste time in the RFP stage with scheduling a site visit in order to provide a proposal. They gave me an estimated fee range (very competitive) which included the Scottsdale permitting process. After they completed the work, their final invoice came in lower than the low-end of the original fee range. You really can't beat those ethics and honesty in a contractor!! They actually charged me for the time it took onsite rather than taking me for the low-end of their initial estimate. Suffice it to say, they are now in my list of VIP contacts should I need a licensed electrician in the future.

I ultimately decided to find a different pool service after several issues with communication and…read moremaintenance. Over several months, I closely monitored my pool's filter pressure and water quality. On multiple occasions, I had to notify the owner when the filter pressure became excessively high, resulting in cloudy water and reduced circulation. In one instance, I backwashed the filter myself after documenting a 25 PSI reading, reducing it to 15 PSI. On another occasion, I notified the owner that the pressure had reached 21 PSI, and he came out the following day to backwash the system. I also noticed instances where the filter pressures documented in the emailed service reports did not match what I found when I inspected the pool the following day. Those discrepancies prompted me to contact the owner to better understand why my observations differed from what had been reported in the service records. The final issue occurred after a service visit when the emailed report stated the backwash valve would not turn and recommended replacement. When I inspected the equipment later that day, I found the backwash handle detached from the valve housing and immediately sent the owner photos and messages asking about the discrepancy between the service report and what I found. I never received a response to those messages. When I called the following day to discuss the situation, the conversation ended with the owner discontinuing service. I understand that pool equipment can fail over time, and I wasn't expecting perfection. What disappointed me most was the lack of communication when I raised legitimate concerns backed by photos and observations. I was simply looking for an explanation of the discrepancies and an opportunity to resolve the issues professionally, but instead my concerns went unanswered and our service relationship ended.

AWESOME POOL COMPANY!…read more When we purchased our vacation rental house in Chandler, we were excited to be first time pool owners. We soon realized that the filters and the pumps needed to be replaced and that the pool would need to be maintained all year for best care. Plus, we aren't in town all the time and I certainly wouldn't want the pool to turn green! We called Del Sol Pool Services to come out. They were very professional and showed up right on time. August was very thorough when explaining exactly what we needed to do to get the pool in proper swimming condition. The price was perfect and I am so happy I now have a regular pool service guy!

Green turned to blue in no time, and we were back in good shape for Summer fun. After the swamp, and following black mold were remedied I hired Radiance Pools to handle my weekly maintenance. Jeremy became our weekly pool pro, and he was great. Fortunately, he was also very patient on all the days I forgot to unlock my gate. We were happy clients for about half a year, until I sold the house. During the summer their services cost about the same as I was paying for chemicals to maintain the pool on my own. In the cooler months it would have been much cheaper to maintain on my own, but we happily kept them coming because of how easy they made things. I'd still be a paying client had I not moved.

Owner refuses to take responsibility and evaded questions. He said he had documentation of the work, but the only "documentation" was their invoice. He said he had "screenshot" of a "phone record" of them reaching out to us to schedule a "maintenance" call, but provided no proof. Then he said it's "up" to us to "schedule" "maintenance" calls. I'm a layman, not familiar with the trade; I wouldn't have paid them for "maintenance" if I'm the one to know when to "schedule" maintenance. If you want to save some headaches and time, and not lose money, go elsewhere. Update: After leaving the review, the owner contacted me for half of the refund, claiming that he already issued me a "refund". I was actually charged $136 for their "service" call + $431.30 for their "maintenance" plan. in total $567.89. The "service" call resulted in +$1700 of repairs they said needed to get my HVAC working again, when in actuality all that was needed was changing AC filter, which they said they did but didn't do. The sham "service" call wasn't refunded, and now they're offering $285. Really?! For poor, dishonest, unprofessional work to rob you of your money. Maybe back then they were ok, but now, you'll be sorry if you hire them.
