Amazing home cooked khmer noodles called Ka-Theo. Small, welcoming and very hospitable restaurant. A hidden gem...for sure!!! After we walked in they had to go orders going, and people ready to order and dine in. After the rush, we took our time making our selection and sat down ourselves. My kids are picky about their noodles. They had the beef ball Ka-Theo, my oldest ate all her noodles and helped her sister finish hers. My wife had the beef tripe Ka-Theo, she was speechless, enjoying every bite. I had their brisket, with beef balls and beef tripe Ka-Theo...DELICIOUS!! All the fixings were included, giving me all the best aromas and flavors I enjoy. I love a place that specializes in a simple menu, perfecting their ingredients, providing foodies like me, the best experience. If you are craving a nice warm bowl of noodle soup, swing by and try some of PHAT Noodle's Ka-Theo!! You won't regret it.

Feeling under the weather, so I came here for some pho. This is my second time coming here, unfortunately, no pictures were taken as I demolished the chicken pho I ordered. This place closes early and is only open during the week, but it is totally worth it if you can swing by. The chicken broth is so flavorful and you can request it spicy, which gives it an amazing kick. The service was good, and a few families were inside eating. It's a hole in the wall, but those are the best authentic places to eat.

I dined here a for weeks ago and it was delicious! I enjoyed the seafood soup and could not stop eating. I really appreciated the amount of noodles and broth in my bowl. I will definitely be back for more! Be sure to try their Thai Iced Tea! They use coconut cream and it is wonderful. read more

Even though their food is flavorful, their customer service is horrible! I'm not sure whom the man is but when I called to place a pick-up I requested that it not be spicy because when I went to try for the first time it was and I could not even eat the food and after explaining, he stated that I had to have ordered it that way and so explained I did not, I told the woman whom was working I wanted pho and pointed at the meal on their menu, she didn't ask me if I wanted it to be spicy and based off the menu what I had ordered it wasn't supposed to be either. The man proceeded w/ "Whatever hurry up, what do you want?" And with an attitude like that for absolutely no reason I stated it was fine and he could cancel my order, he then swore under his breath and hung up on me which was rude and unfortunately this was my second encounter with the man as some years ago I went in to order and left because he was very rude and unhelpful when ordering. The woman was nice but I believe there may have been miscommunication and I just wanted to ensure my next experience was better but it was not. I most def will not be returning here. read more

Great place for Pho, though not your typical Pho. The broth tastes different in a good way. It's richer in a way and more flavorful. I devoured all of my noodles and used plenty of the chili oil provided on every table. That thing packs a bunch but it is delicious! I also ended up buying an iced coffee when I left and it was strong, creamy and delicious. Must try and I will continue to frequent during my lunch time. read more

This was my first time having Pho. I must say I am very impressed. The service was nice and really fast. My mom and I dined in. Once we sat down, the owner (I think) came over and took our order. The menu was really simple and straight to the point. I was a little bummed that they didn't have any sides like rice. But the bowls were filling enough. Literally less than 15 minutes later, our Pho bowls were coming out. I had the Chicken Pho. My mom had the Shrimp Lover's bowl. My mom truly enjoyed her Pho. I must say they were VERY generous with the shrimp. I counted 8 jumbo size shrimp. My chicken bowl didn't stand a chance. Lol Overall I would say if you're in the area, definitely stop by. read more

I love Phat Noodles. I'm here every other week at least. The flavor of the pho broth has so much depth. And the spring rolls, only available Tuesday and Thursday, are refreshing and tasty. This is a family run establishment and Terra is very attentive. This place gets busy, especially on cold and wet days, but service is quick. read more

Really good Asian cuisine. The location is in a good spot and importantly, plenty of parking. Customer service was one of my favorite things about visiting here. The owner is very friendly and courteous! Interacts with customers to ensure you are having a pleasant dining experience! FOOD was on point as far as flavor and the COCUNUT Thai tea! YASS i work in the area and compton needs more options for food like this besides all of the fast food spots. The pho noodles were cooked perfectly and served with fresh veggies their have all the pho basics on the table! We received a complementary tea it was refreshing an really good. I also ordered a thai tea which didn't taste like syrup so that was really nice. ... anyways great place and friendly service! read more

Worst customer service experience. We got there and sat down in a table of two, but decided to move because we were right underneath the ac and I've been sick. We moved to a table for a party of four and the guy server came to us and told us to sit in the smaller table because of lunch rush hour. I explained that it was too cold to sit there and left it alone. We ordered our food and he took us our pho bowl with an extra bowl but he literally threw the bowl on our table. He was already upset because we decided to stay in the 4 seat table. He was so rude, and just said that both bowls were hot that's why he threw it. How is an empty bowl going to be hot ?? Would never come again, also.. how does a Vietnamese restaurant not have egg rolls ? read more

Holy cow! This is the best Pho I have ever had in my entire life!!! Had the #5 well done sliced beef flank and the broth was absolutely AMAZING! Literally. The customer service by the owners was the best! So welcoming and accommodating. It was our first time visiting and they made us feel so welcomed and made sure they explained everything to us. This is now going to be one of our regular lunch spots for our entire office! (Brought back plenty of menus and everyone is pumped!) read more

Wow! So I left a review on their IG acc and they deleted my comment a day later. Lol! It all started with reviews from yelp and I decided I will try their vegan options. However, upon arriving the customer that was ahead of me end up leaving after everything she would order the cashier man kept saying to her that order is was not for her or her little brother. He also kept asking her if she had tried anything from their menu? Until the girl just canceled her order and left. Next was my turn, Lol. Mind you I was already annoyed. I wanted an order of vegan Pho to go. He replied with well it's not vegan. So I told him hmmm you have reviews from the owner that you do have vegan options and you also have it on your window. He goes on to say "well it's not, only the dry noodles are and you are not going to eat it dry". . Not only that he kept telling me I couldn't drink anything from their menu. It was the worst and hilarious experience ever. I just laughed about it. Save me about 8+ bucks read more

This place is very different from traditional pho restaurants. It carries a Cambodian version of pho, and it is fantastic. What's different? There's definitely more favor in the broth than Vietnamese beef broth, including savory garlic and herbs. We eat our noodles without condiments as we think the soup incredibly flavorful on its own. If this place was only closer to where we live, we would definitely be here almost every day. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for pho with a kick. read more

Wowza What a treat to my palette for a late lunch!! I'm so glad I decided to drop in and try Phat Noodles. I had the #1/dry (noodles + fixings in a bowl with broth on the side) and that is how I will order my pho from now on. The broth was SUPER delicious. It was the most flavorful pho broth I've eaten--scooping up a bite of noodles followed by taking a couple sips of broth was such a delicious combo. I also enjoyed the edamame..whatever sauce mix they top it off with is the WIN. Seriously great food!! And I love and appreciate that it's a local family-owned gem. Okay, so I'm that person that only writes a review if I'm super pleased, or if the establishment just didn't cut it... So, let's just start with, this is THE BEST Pho I've ever had... hands down!!! I went 3x in a week! lol I had a regular #5, spicy. The broth is sooo extremely flavorful and tastes very fresh.. however, if you order it spicy, this is a precaution that it is SPICY! So ask for mild/medium, if you're not too major on spice. Definitely recommend! read more

Why why WHY has it taken me so long to try pho? My throat was sore and I wanted some warm soup to ease the pain. I happen to go to the O'Rielly next door when I saw Phat Noodles. I wasn't sure if I would like it so I played it safe and got the chicken pho to go. I was delighted to see all the ingredients in the bag - bean sprouts, cilantro, lime, jalapeno, chili oil, hoisin sauce, thin sliced chicken and a big container of hot, savory broth. Oh it was so good and just what I needed. I felt much better. I would definitely be back again and try a different soup. read more

This place is in what is downtown Compton the spring rolls are my favorite shrimp and chicken fresh veggies and the sauce the peanut sauce that comes with is the best!!! I also order the ice coffee since this place is down the street for me and the ice coffe is better than Starbucks a total winner!!! Place sucked Im sorry if you want good cambodian noodles go to long beach... this place tasted straight up like wonton broth and super salty garlic.... i got the dry noodles soup almost 3 bites away til finish the chef says he forgots my soup and hands me it.... smh never coming back... $9 and over for a bowl of noodles i rather get cup of noodles lol read more

I was a little skeptical at first but it's really really good. It tastes fresh and they serve you plenty of noodles and meat. I would order in before heading out for pick up because it's usually busy since the court and PD are across the street. Avoid lunch hour and order ahead. Price is good for all the food you get. read more

We had to scour the jungle to find anything edible and not be killed by the Khmer Rouge. Through this hardship we learned to appreciate every grain of rice that we can gain. We got the braised Xinjiang Market Chicken with sliced noodle. Very big portion. It had potatoes and bell peppers too. Noodles itself was good texture, but the overall dish lacked some flavor. I ended up dipping my noodles in the chili oil sauce from the wontons just to get more flavor in it. Good place to come for simple dishes. Overall pricing is reasonable as well.

UPDATE** just wanted to provide an updated review ..During quarantine I placed a to go order. Even though it was a brief transaction the cashier was pleasant very nice and my pho was delicious!!! Highly recommend!! I've wanted to try Pho for the longest. I recently discovered this place while searching for restaurants in the area close to home. The food was delicious. The broth and the ingredients were fresh. I ordered the chicken pho and my cousin ordered beef and fried tofu. The food had really great flavor. This review is only 2 stars because the owners customer service was non existent. His attitude was cold and dry he seemed to be irritated for no apparent reason. I love that this is a family owned business his young son was there assisting him with order. I probablwouldn't dine in again but more than likely would order some "to go".. read more

I drove around like a crazy person waiting for the opening and I was super not disappointed! We need more asian authentic food places in this community and I love pho! It is dine in restaurant, which I think is the best way to enjoy pho with all the condiments/veggies spread out, but I had to order mine "to go" in containers. I got the Veggie Noodle Soup and lord the broth was delicious and flavorful. It's like that type of pho that you don't feel the need to put anything else in there because its already good on its own. Perfect for the weather! The employees were really friendly and I'm thankful for finally having a decent place to eat A+ Pho without having to drive all the way to Gardena. Beef brisket in Phat Noodles is the best pho in the world! Pair it with their iced coffee and you have a match made in heaven. Price is very reasonable, serving is generous and most importantly, staff are friendly. Also, the place is clean but I have not checked the comfort room so I do not know about that aspect of the place but over all, I would recommend this place to other people. read more

Great food, best nearby, but the reason I give this place a solid 3/5 stars is because of the hours. I always arrive about 30 minutes to an hour before closing and just to see it be closed. Great food, but the fact that the hours are completely inconsistent, I have to give 3 stars. read more

One word: yummy! Worth the 30 minute drive from my house to eat there! Great vegetarian option . My kiddos loved the chicken and seafood soup noodles. Will definitely go back again and again. FYI, the soup broth is the bomb! Make sure you drink the Thai Tea! read more
